Love the transparency of Gong and access to insights as a product marketer
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and overall the access of seeing all of the calls later on vs having to physically join each one
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a lot of time to watch full calls. It would be great for more advanced searching/language tagging so if I'm a product marketer looking for feedback on data ingestion, I can easily find those calls instead of listening to all of them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transparency into sales pitch, areas of improvement, questions we need to answer as a company.

What do you like best about the product?
I like using it for marketing purposes. We use it to analyze our podcast, we use it to see how often sales is talking about the story we build for them, we see how often topics are discussed at an ELT level, we use it for coaching our sales reps on all things sales, we use it to get deeper insight into current pipeline and deals. Just so much value.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s sometimes a tad clunky with permission sets. We’d love to never have anyone be able to access certain recording except for a handful of individuals at the ELT level. But if you are on the ELT and are the owner of a team and want them to listen to your calls then this becomes an issue.
Also the zoom integration is frustrating at times not giving warning or even showing its recording.

Problems: gaps in the sales process, gaps in story telling through a demo, how engaged reps are with pipeline and deals, and so much more

This is not just for sales this is a valuable intelligence platform that gives you insights and a view of process across strategy and execution. Marketing covered the cost for this because we saw that much value in it and now our sales team loves us for it.
Gong is a great tool for Sales Training!
What do you like best about the product?
Love that Gong records our calls for training purposes, and we can share the calls with our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Starts recording the instance you come on Zoom. You can stop it, but I always forget to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm adjusting my dialogue with clients each time I re-watch my calls. I'm definitely catering the calls more to what the clients want to hear.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'm not familiar with such a solid training tool that helps AE's stronger with their presenting skills.

What do you like best about the product?
An amazing tool for coaching and development of your sales team, customer support team and anyone interacting with a customer.
We also use this to gain valuable insights on the topics we cover, the topics our clients want to learn more about and understand whether we're being active listeners or not. I wish I had Gong for my previous Sales teams too.

What do you dislike about the product?
No real concerns. It's an easy to use interface that connects into our Zoom and dialers well. Looking forward to more being added in the future with the newest funding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coaching & Development; Tracking key priorities (new product launches, competitive discussions, etc); Client Consultation volume... all have improved as we tracked, discussed and learned from each recording.
Valuable collaborative tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to automatically notify colleagues that certain topics of conversation have come up, and them be able to access the transcript to see what was said. We find this particularly useful between Customer Success & Product Management to relay customer feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
Transcript can have some imperfections, if this was improved it could be used to automatically log call notes and save time of note making/typing up.

As a Sales Leader, besides the CRM, GONG is the #1 tool I would recommend and absolutely obtain budget for.
The actual recordings (call and video) of your Prospecting Calls, Discovery Calls, Demo Calls, and Follow-up calls in one place, transcribed and ready to listen/view.
It has improved our coaching and sales rep effectiveness immensely.
Gong will have an immediate impact on revenue.
We can now go through every conversation where:

A customer mention emotions an emotion (love, frustrated, confusing)

We can go right to the exact piece of conversation that we need to review.

Interface could be a little easier to navigate when cycling through prospecting phone calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows us to have major insights into what our reps are saying on the phones and on their zoom calls. We get quicker access to vital portions of conversations. Every department in our organization benefits from having quick access to what customers are saying/feeling.

What do you dislike about the product?
It took a little while to get the reps fully adopted to it. I would recommend training sessions that are specific to the company only. I am sure others would agree and gladly pay for it as an add on service.

Often on calls it is very hard to take notes and truly listen actively at the same time. Gong solves this problem. I also like the activity tracking for forecasting.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong's transcriptions are nearly perfect, making it a great tool to search, filter, and track specific words.
Being new to sales, Gong makes it incredibly easy to learn from your team without having to 'drop-in' on them during a live calls/video conferences. The commenting/scoring features also allow us to get the feedback we need.

Sometimes (not often), it'll take a few minutes for my recent calls to become available to listen to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Gong I am able to learn and get feedback from others, without interrupting their day.

What do you like best about the product?
So many things, but if i had to pick it would probably be how reliable and accurate it is.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hm, I would love to see the transcript and video play side by side on the same screen. Right now it's either or.

Training - the best way to ramp on customer centric calls. Also a way to self coach by listening back to my calls and seeing what i can improve on.
