That simple and easy to understand
What do you like best about the product?
Calls for new contracts to be documented by all. When I went into the business, I helped massively. Other vendors I used a great deal to understand. After the calls, I really want to be able to pay attention to myself my team-mates will shade me. This helps my training time more quickly. It's also easy to use dsahboards, and it's also easy not only from the a department but also in the entire organization to view calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have several to do separately and access the videos I've recorded through zoom that they do not currently capture. I think anything else is fine, I had some problem with piece at all. I think it'd be a good thing if you can still add the gong email account to the schedule assignments on gmail, which will enable gong to document the day immediately. It will be simpler and quicker than to go to the website and physically configure it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shadowing. Recalling calls, revealing my job, and what the customers said. I love it a lot to return to my applications, to check everything out, to see receipts and to recognize what the buyer said, I forget several times.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Nice volunteering tool for call staff, nice for workshops in sales. Even if you want your ringing staff monitored.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, great for training, and the insights are helpful. I've now used Gong at my last two companies and am really impressed with it's capabilities and accuracy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Transcribing can be a bit iffy from time to time, but it is pretty darn accurate for the most part and imaging this portion of the product is near impossible to get 100% accuracy when people speak in different accents/dialects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Faster ramping of sales reps, can collaborate and comment on each others calls when a certain topic comes up so it makes it easy to learn form the rest of the team.

What do you like best about the product?
Learning best practices from colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints about the platform so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to perform self-assessment by listening to my own calls, learning new tips from colleagues, and being able to send my calls to a manager or coworker for review. More specifically, pulling out a snippet where a particular competitor is mentioned or an objection is overcome

In my personal experience it has been the best tool for knowledge growth and many of my coworkers agree

I love being able to go back and listen to my calls and see what I’m doing well and not doing so well. It’s been awesome for helping me consistently hit quota and learning from my mistakes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The speech recording isn’t super accurate, and sometimes it will give me follow up options that aren’t applicable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Discovery call process has been improved.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is a great way to communicate about customer conversations. I really like the tracking that you can set triggers for and filter down to conversations with those triggers. We use it for product, sales, product marketing, and a lot more. It is quite helpful to be able to search all those customer conversations. It is also great for the onboarding of new employees that was insight into the business or sales process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I personally am not a huge fan of the branding of gong, but that is just me! There are some small UI improvements that could be made, but nothing that stops me from wanting to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross-departmental communication is a problem in any business, let alone one that is WFH during covid. Gong also helps us onboarding people and share insights about the customer experience and sales process. The benefits of this is that it gives you insight into the customer experience that you might not have unless you work in customer success or sales.

Gong is helpng make me a more efficient sales rep. and better at pitching as well

What do you like best about the product?
Having the Gong recording is SUPER helpful in reviewing client calls. Gong has great tools and is far easier than reviewing a Zoom recording. I love how Gong shows an overview of who was speaking when, analyzes the structure of the interaction and provides feedback. I also like the transcript function that helps find exactly the part I want to review again.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wasn't thrilled with the Big Brother concept but I got over that quickly when I saw the benefit in helping me sell better. I know voice to text is an imperfect science but I'd LOVE to see improvements there. Or perhaps in the interim...the ability to annotate the transcript to make accuracy edits where needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reviewing complex client calls afterwards to ensure I caught all the important details and am accurate on my follow-up. I like have my recordings in one place to go back and review as needed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I thought clients might object to 'notetaker' being logged into the meeting, or at least ask about it. None ever have.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the simple timeline interface that shows when each person is talking. Makes scrubbing through calls so much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Auto-translations could be a bit more accurate but that technology seems to be improving each year. It works surprisingly well as is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like that I can review how much time I spend talking vs how much time the interviewee is speaking. I've learned to 'talk less' and 'listen more' and I have the metrics to prove it!

Gong is a simple service that focuses on what it does best. It isn't something that takes time at all to get started with. Accurate data with a low barrier of entry. What more could you want?

Is a bit pricier than other comparable tools
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think it offers great self-coaching features so that my reps can get feedback on areas to improve without much effort from anyone. Also the transcription helps them keep organized.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it gives me action items after each call - it is amazing instead of having to take notes while on the phone with a client. I have notes written out for me after the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that it shows as another person in my Google meet calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multitasking - I do not have to take notes and speak and listen while on a call all at the same time. It is great to not distract you from the conversation going on.
