Perfect tool for sales people!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I am able to fully focus during a call and not worry about having to take notes because I can always go back to the transcript or recording to reference any details I forgot.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when I forget to add a zoom link to my meeting invite, Gong won't join because it doesn't know about my meeting so I have to go into Gong to add it myself, but I always forget so I don't get my recording or it doesn't join for a certain amount of time (I think 30min) so I only get a portion of my meeting recorded. This is user error because they have a way to override this, but you have to remember to do it. Maybe it could be helpful if I could be sent a notification to add gong? Who knows?!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love them emails that are sent about my deals with reminders and warnings! One time it sent me a reminder and my manager gave me the same reminder later that day. The data definitely works! Also, it is such an amazing tool for onboarding new employees and having an entire library of calls they can access to learn.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I used Gong at a previous company and I thought it was just going to be a Big Brother tool, but it has so many great ways that it benefits the sales people also! I highly recommend using Gong to help coach a sales team

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to coach and break down emails and search key words on emails and phones. I love that you can easily breakdown a call as well with a specific word or phrase.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much I can dislike about it. Only thing I can think of is having the calls upload quicker instead of a couple hours later.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving phone call problems with how we navigate a call with our team members. The benefits are the ability to leave real time notes and once they are completed my team member will be notified that I left a comment on a call.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are wanting to create a culture that is about helping others grow and build quality skill sets then this is for you!
Why aren't more marketers using this?
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is as much of a marketing enablement tool as it is a Sales enablement tool and I find that many marketers are not utilizing it as much as they should. I generate really effective subject lines from listening in to our prospects by using their own language to market to their peers. Also, as you listen to more and more calls you begin to hear requests for the same types of content which then helps to inform your content creation plan. Gong's branding focuses on reality over opinions and as you begin to gather more proof points of why you need to invest in specific content needs, sending your CMO links to call with time stamps will provide the reality of why you need to to invest in any specific initiative.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Gong could position themselves as a marketer's tool as well because it's highly useful for product marketing and demand gen needs. Also, in order to help understand specific territories, it's a brilliant field market research tool as well. I am now working with a company that uses Gong for a 2nd time and still find myself to be the only marketer who uses this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps me understand the market, gives insight into our competitors, and provides me with real-world language that details the problem we are hoping to solve which then enables me to stay away from the usual marketing fluff that is so common in those 10 AM emails that clog up your inbox.

Listening to myself and others. Being able to look back and learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could search conversations by phone number. The looking up feature can be hard to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping my deals fresh and moving down the process. I am able to send my boss any call I want feedback on.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to pull needed notes. Seeing how voice inflections affect the sale. Making sure the right words are being stressed

sometimes the warning can be intrusive and come out of nowhere

Seeing what all good conversations have in common and replicating it.
GONG -- Great tool!!!
What do you like best about the product?
The things I like best about GONG is the ability to search by "keywords." This feature allows to find specific calls instantly in cases where you're wanting to find certain topics.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would complain about is the time it takes for calls to show up in the system. For me personally, turnaround time is about 24 hours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems I'm solving with GONG have been resolved bad sales calls where I didn't ask the right questions. Because of GONG, I'm able to review certain calls where I didn't do my best and learn from those mistakes and get better on the next calls.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly suggest any company that has employees utilizing the phones for any business purposes, consider investing in GONG. This product can only enhance and make workers produce better and more effectively without having to hire 3rd parties to train them. This is all because they can train themselves by listening to their own calls as well as their managers.
Icing on the cake for virtual demos
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to send snippets of demos to clients after my calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't ran into anything I would complain about at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clients have short memories, I can send them a video from our meeting to remind them of what we went over or to share with colleagues who were unable to make it.

Slow to engage the recorder to record on calls

Discovery is much better - the points where we have a good chat.

What do you like best about the product?
Recording calls of everyone for new hires to do shadowing. helped me a lot when i entered the company. I used it a lot to learn from other salespeople. I like being able to listen to myself after the calls, and also that my teammates can do shadowing to me, it makes my learning curve faster. I also like the dsahboards, really easy to use, and also that you can see calls not only from your team but from thw whole company.
What do you dislike about the product?
That they dont automatically record, many I have to to them manually and enter the videos I recorded via zoom. I think everything else is great, i havent had any trouble at all with gong. I would think it would be good, if just on the calendar invitations at gmail, you could add a gong mail address which automatically enables gong to record the meeting on that day. That would be easier and faster than going to the webpage and programming it manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shadowing. remembering calls and what customers said, showing my work. I like a lot that I can go back to my calls, check them out, see the transcripts and remember what the customer said, many times I forget.

great tool for shadowing employees on calls, great for sales trainings. Also if you need to monitor your workforce calling.
