Love gong!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact it's user friendly and can easily access the areas need be. Also gives statistics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that there's always error when trying to load specific areas. It's also extremely expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training sales reps on calls - making them get better and better by giving feedback and pointers on how to close sales.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's worth it. Helps you to be on the inside of sales reps calls and give them feedback to make them better and better. Helps increase their funnel and their close rates.
Best Selling Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like how everything is recorded, including talk ratios, prospect/customers times spent talking, etc. It is really helpful when trying to improve selling skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I forget what I quote my prospect and Gong disables recording numbers. I understand why they do that but sometimes it is a pain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a salesperson, I have realized I talk way too much and take over conversations. Gong was able to show me this by showing talk ratio, etc. I have been working on bringing my talk time down.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If they are looking for a critical selling tool to help them achieve to become better at their careers, then Gong is a for sure tool to have!
Gong is fantastic for efficiency!
What do you like best about the product?
Gong creates a transcript for each call and groups discussion topics together. This makes it easy to go back and look into certain details that were discussed so that I can more efficiently follow up. The transcript feature is great, conversation topics are even better, and the whole process is automated so I don't even have to worry about whether each call is will be transcribed or not.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the transcription is very good, there is some room for improvement (some mistranslated or misattributed areas). I'm sure that this will continue to improve over time, however.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong saves time. I spend a lot of time on calls with customers and often need to go back and review all the topics that were covered so that I can follow up. Gong makes this easy. The discussion is split into discussion topics to make navigation quick and the transcript allows me to quickly scan and reacquaint myself with the information that is needed. It also allows me to be more present on calls and spend less time focusing on taking notes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider how much time you spend review past calls. If it is a time-consuming ordeal, definitely consider Gong. Also consider Gong if your organization needs greater visibility and transparency around customer conversations.
Great System for Accountability and Support
What do you like best about the product?
I like receiving task lists so I can be sure I don't miss what I owe my customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the recording message will interrupt the beginning of the conversation with the customer. There is a slight delay of the recording starting at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping up with tasks needing to be completed and reminding myself of conversations had with clients so that I can best serve their needs.

Do it! It is very helpful.

Great collaboration tool. Easy to use. Good for Global teams.

I sometimes have a difficult time finding the calls I am looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centrally located repository of all of our calls.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This tool makes it very easy to work with team members no matter where they are located. You can go back and review old calls to refresh. It will give you full annotated scripts of everyone that speaks. You can see how much screen time is used, how much talk time, who specifically is talking and who wasn't. You can add comments inline on the recording to collaborate with your team. You can also share it with customers or prospects without the added managerial tools. Great tool!

Quality audio/video recordings - making it easy to focus on your customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the Gong recorder hops in very late if it's a last minute session you've created.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows us to focus on our customers and not feel like we have to write down every note or next steps.

What do you like best about the product?
Hugely time-saving! I don’t have to take notes like I used to, and I can watch how others on my team conduct calls so that I learn from how they do things. I also love that it allows me to have the precise language that my prospects use, so I can integrate that back into future communications and ensure we're really aligned.

Honestly I can’t think of any downsides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps me understand where I’m on point and where my approach is falling short. A direct record of each of my calls is the most honest and accurate reflection of how well I’m performing. Gong has helped me adapt in an accelerated way.

Make use of tutorials and listen to calls regularly to learn.

I know who on my team is applying my Sandler sales coaching. I can coach my team on deals that day with recording. I also can track progress and Eliminate risk in my forecast

Excellent Sales Insight
What do you like best about the product?
Gong has been incredibly helpful in our remote sales world. It has allowed me to coach and help our team, despite not being in meetings. The Trackers alert me when key words or competitors are mentioned, and having the ability for the team to "tag me" in certain parts of conversations to review is efficient and impactful.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the time that the daily email notifications were sent could be adjusted so they could be in my inbox earlier in the day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems solved: ability to coach in a remote sales environment, ability to see concise pipeline, including communication cadence in a single screen.
