How did I coach my team before Gong!

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is the real deal! The ability to listen to my team's calls is great! The ability to have "Triggers" tell me what calls to listen to is even better. I also can listen to call by disposition which saves me a lot of time searching for the right call to listen to.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike about this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I know have the ability to look at my team's metrics and make the assumption of the coaching that is needed and verify it by listening to calls.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy Zoom and VoIP call recording - great voice to text with intelligent tagging of all calls based on initial tagging rules
What do you dislike about the product?
The Tagging rules are the most powerful part of the program - this does require a lot of planning and setup to really get mileage out of this feature
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to review sales and service calls with prospects/customers and see what some of the major themes are in these calls. We can coach up all reps based on stats and make business decisions based on the frequency of certain terms that come up during discussions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Put the time in and this tool will help you monitor all the conversations your team is having with your customers - it's management time well spent.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Gong has a superior product that provides much needed sales insights especially in this remote work environment. Their thought leadership is also so refreshing! You can learn a lot about sales best practices without even buying their product.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many ways to use the platform, I need to send more time learning the exact use cases I want to use it for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding team gaps and challenges. The ability as a manager to be in multiple places at once.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Creating a recording library of best in class calls is a great way to use the software

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to listen back to my calls to see what worked and what didn't. It's amazing and has helped me improve so much already!
What do you dislike about the product?
If I had to pick one thing, it would be having to say on a recorded line

I'm able to see what I could have done differently and implement that in my future calls.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can go back almost immediately after recording a Zoom call, and that I can see what I did well / didn't do well. The fact that it also transcribes is fantastic! There's a lot to like, so it's not easy to choose just one thing, but I also love the fact that feedback can be easily shared and received, and the feedback/comments tool jumps right to the correct spot in the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not the biggest fan of the typos / miscommunication that sometimes happens in the transcribe feature. Other than that, there's not much to dislike about Gong. My whole team has found it incredibly helpful. Sometimes I also wish that it would buffer a little more quickly -- but that's easily solved by being able to watch at faster speed (1.75x) to save time. :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, I find Gong most useful to help me solve how to be a better communicator on my sessions. Going in to review a call on Gong is super helpful to seeing how I communicate, how the session went, and how I can improve for next time. The fact that the recording comes through pretty quickly is very helpful - I often find myself reviewing at least one of my calls by the end of the day, and having a queue of others to review in the future. It's reliable, and I can go in whenever I have a free chunk of time to improve my skills. I love how easy to navigate Gong is also!
My current flow through the workday is a handful of calls to be on, and then reviewing my own calls (and others' calls) to see where improvements can be made. Because of this, it's easy for me to just log-in to Gong when I have some open time, and feel like I'm ALWAYS improving, because Gong is giving me access to see my own calls. Not only has this helped with training, but also just constant skill growth/ up-leveling. :)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're considering using Gong, I highly recommend making it accessible to your whole team to share feedback with each other. I think the collaborative / feedback aspect is such a strong benefit of Gong. We grow together and improve together as a team!

Can't get enough of that GONG!

What do you like best about the product?
As a consultant who performs call reviews on behalf of sales teams, it is unbelievable how much Gong makes my life easier to conduct these reviews, and then also coach the reps afterwards.

Previous to Gong, I would type up my call notes in a google doc and as part of that try to eyeball-measure how much of the call they spent talking vs listening, or spending on the screenshare versus talking pricing, etc.

Gong lines all this up before I even go into review, AND when I enter my notes, the rep gets the info in real time, so they don't have to wait 2 weeks for a scheduled review meeting, they can start improving immediately.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the quality of the recordings (like actual audio and video quality) would carry over better into Gong. it's low def where it could be more high def. Though I have heard they have native zoom integration now which should fix this issue.

I also wish there was a way to attribute the calls easier. Sometimes if the SDR books the demo call, the stats get tracked back to the SDR's profile instead of the AE's
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm helping sales teams recognize areas for improvement, it's helped some reps hone their soft skills, and for other reps had direct impact on their close rates.

The product keeps getting better -- get on board!

Insanely helpful tool for Product Managers and Sales/Solutions Engineers

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite parts of Gong are 1) the way it notifies me when certain triggers are met (for example, any time a sales rep talks about "roadmap") and 2) how easy it makes it for me to go and review customer call recordings, getting to the specific point where a customer asked a question. That makes prepping for follow-up calls a *lot* easier, and it means I can support our sales team with more relevant information when I join.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having the Zoom "Notetaker" join all your calls can take some getting used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I get better context around customer needs and requests without having to join every single call. It makes customer calls much more value-dense, since more people are able to extract what they need from those calls, and it doesn't feel like pulling teeth to get that information.

What do you like best about the product?
Transcripts are great to quickly find specific phrases in calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcriptions are not 100% as of yet, sometimes they don't make sense. Overall, they are mostly accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I'm new to my role, I've been using Gong to watch back demos and customer calls, allowing me to get up to speed more quickly than I would have done.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you currently have no way to easily review past calls, I believe Gong is the best solution on the market.

Decent enough of a recording system

What do you like best about the product?
The system transcribes videos well enough. It is also possible to get feedback on if I am talking too much, how much the prospect is speaking and more insights to help be get better at my job.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a user, I can't disable if I get a message for call recordings including if I just left a voicemail. I get too many emails from them and it is really annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Call recording and analytics. I haven't seen as many benefits as some of my colleagues.

What do you like best about the product?
The recording and producing of transcripts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that I cannot print the transcript from GONG. You should be able to save and print the transcript.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefit that I gain is that fact that I can immediately identify and extract the probing questions that were asked.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommended for any organization that employs a sales team. It truly provides an opportunity to capture genuine activity.
