What do you like best about the product?
The ability to learn and coach with this tool. Being able to go back and hear myself during calls is a great critique tool where I can pick up on what areas I need to work on, ask more questions to the customer, etc. I am a current user of Gong every day at work. I use Gong to listen to my peers' calls as a learning tool, and I can incorporate bits and pieces into my own work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do get nervous sometimes knowing that every call I make is recorded, and that anyone from my company can listen to any call at any time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Gong, I am solving problems to the way I speak on the phone. More specifically, I am aware of my tonality when speaking to the customer/contact, and have learned to ask more questions and be curious instead of doing the majority of the talking. Every time I listen to one of my own gong calls or one of my peer's calls, I take notes and make it unique to my own specific talk tracks.

Invaluable tool

What do you like best about the product?
While it can be hard to hear yourself as a recording, it's an absolutely essential tool for inside sales. You can hear in your tone, in your prospect's tone what emotions or energies are being brought to the call. As for the transcript, I enjoy reading the exact things that were said in a call, so I can track which questions are better than others. I feel like Gong has helped me level up as a salesperson in a way I couldn't do if I didn't have it. It's helped me out of slumps, as well. If you listen to calls that had gone well before, it can help you get back on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
Don't like new display for the transcript
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Definitely solving problems with where my process is breaking down. It's helped me close more business.

Super Helpful and User Friendly

What do you like best about the product?
We've never used any kind of revenue intelligence platform before this, and I've loved how easy it is to navigate the platform and get an immediate solution to our problems around time/resources for coaching and sharing knowledge. The team at Gong is friendly and supportive, the help library is extensive, and most of the time I can just figure things out on my own because of how intuitive the UX is.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's unfortunate that topics take six months or so to develop. I understand why that is, but as a Sales Manager at a start-up I'm always looking for ways to justify spending and I have a feeling this could seal the deal for a renewal. I just don't know yet (we're three months in).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First, I manage a team of 12 reps and it was impossible to coach each rep. I find myself being able to work with each rep now consistently, and have plenty of data points and visualizations to guide our conversations. Second, it's been extremely helpful in scaling up new reps. Prior to Gong, we used to try and download good demos and store them in G-Drive. Very manual. Now, everything exists in Gong and it is such an incredible benefit to be able to search through entire conversations by specific words, trackers, etc. The whole team loves it, and feels more in charge of their learning.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's been fantastic. We're pretty autonomous and have really been off and running since we got into the tool. The customer success team is great during implementation and it won't be long before you get immediate returns.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to search through my meetings and pinpoint specific topics. As a very forgetful person, it's beneficial to be able to recap my conversations that I may not have gone into detail with within my notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could edit the recordings... I tend to have silly chit-chat with my team before the prospect or customer joins the call. Being able to edit that out if I needed to send them the call would be helpful. On the other hand, I could simply remain quiet for 2-3 minutes. I also believe that additional analytics could be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to go back to my calls and understand where I need to improve. I'm new to sales in the tech industry, so I have a lot that I need to grow on and improve for my sales strategy. Gong makes it easy to review, self-reflect and pin-point where I need to improve my techniques and overall knowledge of the industry.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend using Gong alongside Zoom. This has enhanced my overall sales experience because I am able to review my calls. Gong also ensures that everyone on the call is aware that it's being recorded and requires consent from all parties before actually recording the external participants.

Fantastic sales tool

What do you like best about the product?
I'm a sales rep that's been using Gong for just over 6 months. It's a fantastic tool for so many reasons -- super helpful to be able to go back to your own calls and clarify details that may have slipped through the notes, great to upskill by listening live or to recordings of other reps' calls, and some of the automated call coaching/insights are surprisingly accurate and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Transcription doesn't really work, but in any case I don't think it's a useful feature
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patchy notes, no learning from colleagues, reliant on managers to listen live to calls for coaching. Gong solves all of these.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Deploy it across your sales org.

Gong gave me structure to measure the quality of my calls

What do you like best about the product?
I like all the different stats. Gong has taught me a lot and made me aware of certain things. My favorite stats are interaction stats, patience, and team stats. I also like listening to other's calls, I take a lot of their best lines haha. I also love listening at 1.5x-2x speed, this allows me to listen to tons of calls. This is for anyone who's serious about improving sales.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't looked too deeply into the topics and trackers. I would like if there was a 0.5x or 0.75x as well sometimes its a good change of pace, especially if it was important.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has helped me do my job better. I know some others on my team that use Gong but my guess is more than half don't or rarely use it. Most are too tired after a full day of calls to listen regularly. I would recommend Gong to anybody serious about building a sales army!

Gong is like having a sales coach 24/7. It allows your team to reach their full potential.

What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love Gong. At first I was a bit apprehensive about having my calls recorded but the transcripton and the to do actions that are emailed to me after the call are so helpful and incredible.
The analytics to dive into the content and review the call by keywords also helps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to send to do actions to customers and colleagues

Information sharing and call recording. Improve Sales leads and ability to follow up

What do you like best about the product?
Recording where I can go back and listen to what was discussed. It is amazingly nice to know the stuff which was discussed and could write the meeting notes. Also, Very happy with the notification it sends before and after the meeting which helps to keep track of the meetings.

I can pause and do my rewriting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Screen size even when do full size it shows a narrow window. I have tried doing multiple times to have a fit screens size but I have to then maximize the screen size to have a proper vision.
Also, I believe in the recording itself a Text to speech bar should be added where automatically it should roll down as per the conversation. What I have to do is either to watch the recording or switch to the text mode.

I believe giving both of them together would add much value and useful for the user. Also, There should be a word filter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Even when meeting is done I can go back to the recording and could write the follow up email and could note down precise follow up action items.

It is amazingly nice to know the stuff which was discussed and could write the meeting notes. Also, Very happy with the notification it sends before and after the meeting which helps to keep track of the meetings.

Also, In the gmail the gong emails can be filtered out so need not remember each and every meeting time.

It is just amazing

What do you like best about the product?
been ramping @ grafana over the past month
- listening to calls on my mobile has helped me ramp faster
- having team members, mgrs listen to provide feedback, clarifying questions has allowed me to win faster
What do you dislike about the product?
- occasionally it will disconnect from my inbox and i'll have to reconnect but that is a minor thing that should get resolved
- if gong could take out the meaningless chatter @ the start that would be nice but a quick fastforward is an easy fix

- ramping faster
- better insight into deals
- training across the sales, cx, solutions eng salesforce
