Great Sales Insights
What do you like best about the product?
Having insights into how often I talk and what action items I'm discussing. I also really like specific things about the product that it gives feedback on each and every single call. When I can go back and look into each individual call it creates an environment that makes it easy to listen to my calls and determine the best course of action.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to say that I'm on a recorded line. It really does hinder the conversation. I wish there was a way to make it so we did not have to say that. If this was the case this product would have no down side. However, by having to say that makes it very difficult to build credibility the same way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fixing how often I'm talking over the phone. I realized that I go on a monologue to often. So when I'm really on the phone with the clients I was able to isolate when I am monologuing in order to determine what the best course of action for me is. I also realized that I could track when I am interrupting others during the calls. This has helped realized more success when I'm listening in to my calls. My sales have actually increased since I started utilizing gong by a healthy percentage and that is why I am taking the time out of my day to write this review. What does the future of gong look like to you?
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a shot. I'm selling better because of it. That is the truth!

It works so damn well, it translates flawlessly, it integrates at an amazing clip. Feedback is a breeze, it just works so so so well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Maybe it's pricey? IDK I dont pay for it but assume they charge us an arm and a leg for this amazing product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problem - feedback on calls is really hard. it sucks to take notes on a call and track the time when it happens.
Solution - there is literally nothing better than gong at feedback, seeing what words to use and onboarding new team members. It's just amazing.

Good tool to sharpen selling skills.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to read the text of my calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
That Gong logs into my meetings 5 minutes ahead of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned above, honing selling skills with supervisor and being able to scan text allows me to locate areas I may have missed for notes.

Really useful tool for sales calls so you don't have to worry about taking notes

The automated transcript of your calls is great for reference later on and to make sure you heard things correctly -- which are then shareable externally and internally.
What do you dislike about the product?
Other than it can be a bit weird to have all your calls recorded and available with access to the company's Gong page to listen to, no real complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More productive calls with clients since you don't have to worry about feverishly take notes. Able to record calls and screenshares so that clients who have team members unable to be at the meeting.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the fact that you can easily install the automated meeting recorder, that you can share the recording with other participants and that you can access transcripts after the call, in case you need to refresh your memory.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the transcript text is a little bit off

Problem being solved is that you have access to either listen to or read about what transpired during a call and retroactively take in and/or share information.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check it out! It makes recording meetings very easy and also provides a simple way to go back and gather information from the meeting you might have missed, forgotten or just need to revisit.
So Much Information, So Little Time
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to capture snippets of content in Gong, and of course the basic functionality of being able to review my own calls, my colleagues calls, and to have them do the same for me. All in less time than actually attending the call because I can play it back at faster speeds, or skip ahead to the important stuff.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Gong could improve the search-ability of calls to be more intuitive. I enjoy having my saved searches by one-off searching often results in going to a specific call or conversation when I was just looking for a keyword in a set of calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows me to garner highly specific feedback from my manager as well as attend my colleagues calls without having to actually attend the call. Great for both training and feedback.

What do you like best about the product?
Extremely accurate transcriptions. Also, the timeline of different points in the conversation makes long calls very easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really can't think of anything. I did not know that this technology existed until a few months ago and it has been paramount in my success as an AE since then.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Feedback on calls, coaching, eliminating the need to take notes on calls, there are dozens of use cases here.
