The best tool for recording, reviewing and sharing meetings
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to search by any component of a meeting is key to how we use Gong. I'm able to easily find calls from months back and easily find the parts that I need to listen to. I also really love the transcript feature with hyperlinks/references to the time in the call. That has been very helpful to search for a key word or phrase and easily listen to that section of the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
The video quality of the recordings could be a little better. Other than that, I don't have any complaints. Some of the navigation and layout isn't as intuitive as it could be, but I haven't had too much trouble finding what I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First, it solves my need to get up to speed on our different customers very quickly when their project is handed off to me. I can just go search by the customer name and continue filtering/searching for exactly what I need to hear.
Secondly, my customers have gotten use to Gong recordings and actively request call recordings on a normal basis. So not only has Gong helped me when I need it, my customers are seeing the benefit too.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it even for meetings that you don't think you need to - it can really be a life saver! Rather than frantically taking notes during a meeting, you can feel free to be more engaged knowing that you can always revisit key points or shared screens later on.
Great for training and sales development
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to go to an account and see every interaction I have had with this account. It is easy to go back and find the information you may have missed previously. I also like the training it provides like talk track, run-on sentences, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike. I use Gong almost daily and use almost every feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I listen to one of my calls a week to be able to critique myself.

Ability to come back and listen to calls. Especially like the ability to search through the transcripts.

Nothing comes to mind. For the service of being able to pull calls and listen it works as advertised.

Being able to listen to calls to hear back client feedback. Also how to evaluate my own sales presentations.

It's super helpful to understand the statistics after the call. Your patience, too much talking, monologue, interactivity, and customer story.

The transcript isn't always clear on the exact words.

not being able to send a permanent link tied to a recording, but its not that big of a deal

seeing if a client viewed the recording. Allows me to follow right back with the client.
Gong is incredibly smart and valuable every single day
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I don't have to take notes anymore. Listening to recordings from my phone at increased speed and being able search through the transcripts of each call are both way better than taking notes manually.
It's so easy to get caught up when brought into a sale mid-cycle and not feel like I am fighting to catch up the whole time.
It is also so great for bringing new team members into a selling team for new products. They have excellent recording and notes that allow us to increase the speed at which we train our people.
Lastly, I find the ability to send snippets of recordings to be really useful. This has been a great way to share specific talking points with our Product team or Engineers to give them examples of how customers respond to certain features or ideas they are presented with.

I don't dislike anything about Gong after a few months of using it. It's simply wonderful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to track action items, provide coaching, and training. We have seen teamwork increase substantially across the organization and efficiency increase amongst the positions that get pulled into a sale during the later stages of a sale.
Onboarding new team members is so much quicker now that they have concrete searchable examples to use as they get trained.

I truly believe this software to be worth every dollar. The trial was simple and useful. The Gong team was there every step of the way to get through the trial and implementation.
Gong has been a true life saver!
What do you like best about the product?
Love the fact that I do not need to take notes. After the call I can just go back listen to the call, download the transcript or just review the action items.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly can't say I dislike anything about Gong
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to share the call history with my partners who may have not been able to make the call. We can review it together and come up with a strategy for our next step.

Make sure you have a management team dedicated to taking time to review calls on a regular basis

What do you like best about the product?
The call recording and transcript recording of each call. I no longer need to take notes and can quickly reference past calls, to help me reference past discussions and close more deals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the Notetaker functionality fails, but for the most part it works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I no longer have to take detailed notes, which helps me stay engaged on a call. I am quickly able to reference previous calls so I am always speaking in the customer's language.

Learn about all of the features that they have to offer. There are a lot of different use cases that Gong can help with.

What do you like best about the product?
This is a great automated recording and notetaking tool that provides immediate value, especially in decentralized remote work environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not see any downsides of utilizing this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this tool for internal coaching and feedback, as well as personal recorded notetaking and call analysis.
