Gong helps make sales coaching in an asynchronous environment easier!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to provide coaching feedback to my reps in the comments section of recorded calls or through scorecards is super valuable. Our company has gone digital by default and it's very important as a sales organization to be able to provide asynchronous feedback, especially as teams move across different time zones and time for feedback during 1-1s become more limited.
Each week, I have my reps tag me in a call snippet focused on the primary thing we are working on for the month. It's been helpful in making big strides in call improvement and skills development.

What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like is that the call recordings are not available real time. Sometimes a rep will ask for immediate feedback on a call and we will have to wait until the recording is finished processing which can take some time.
The transcriptions on calls are not reliable. Especially when sometimes reps will try to leverage for call notes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving a few problems with the use of Gong:
1. Ability to provide asynchronous coaching feedback on calls - this way, sales call coaching doesn't always need to happen over 1-1 meetings with reps (time saved / more efficiency)
2. The ability to understand sales rep behaviours and track what can be improved (e.g. call control, filler words, application of training/coaching feedback)
4. A/B testing talk tracks to see which messaging lands and converts to sales

Great for capturing notes and improving
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Gong allows me to focus on conversations rather than trying to capture notes. I can go back into the platform to re-listen to calls and capture notes or even copy and paste from the transcript. It's super simple to share snippets with colleagues for feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think editing a snippet could be a little easier but this is very minor
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saved time, become more efficient and have been able to focus on the conversations rather than having to capture notes. Additionally, I didn't realize that I was beginning to talk immediately after the customer ended. I've learned to pause slightly longer which has resulted in customers divulging more information than they typically may have.
Total Game Changer for Sales
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best things about Gong is the call transcript button. This makes it very easy to find little nuggets of information of the call. Rather than listen to the long call, just hit Control F on your keyboard and find it yourself!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything in particular I don't like at the moment!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Often times I need to reference calls for important bits on information. Having Gong allows me to quickly accomplish this and get on with my day.
Great tool to improve personal and team skillset
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to view stats to see how I compare to other colleagues in regards to the number of calls I listen to, and some of the topic areas we touch on in calls. This allows us to recognize what other reps are doing that others aren't, in hopes we can improve our talk tracks. I also love being able to listen in and the ability to join in on live demos that I set for our Account Executives.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I try to listen back on calls that I made today, sometimes they aren't logged at all and are considered "skipped calls," which means I'm unable to listen to calls at times. This affects me because if I missed key information or want to gather more information that wasn't stated on the call. As for other times, calls aren't analyzed as quickly as I would like which is stressful when I need to put in quick notes or notify our Account Executives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A few of the problems I am able to solve while using Gong is being able to listen back on my calls. I find this extremely beneficial because I am able to better understand what went wrong on a call and learn where my areas of opportunities are. Some of the benefits include what I mentioned above, and the ability to see stats. If I see that a rep is excelling in one area and there is one specific point they bring up often, I can search that person's name and see what they're doing right.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If there is a way to avoid skipped calls, then I think that would be of tremendous help. Speech to text at times is not always accurate, but I feel any AI that transcribes speech to text will not be 10000% accurate. It would be great to be able to listen to a Gong call directly from salesforce without having to open up the website.
High detail, very usable call review tool
What do you like best about the product?
The Filters to search calls by how many questions were asked, what keywords were spoken, etc is incredibly valuable to finding the best calls to go over and review.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not my complaint, because I enjoy it, but a team member has mentioned they find the color scheme gaudy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our previous software had the call laid out as a single bar, but Gong shows you who is talking, when, and what percentage of the time that is

The analysis of the call - it's really well thought out and detail oriented!

Nothing, the UI is fantastic and I'm really glad we have it.

Great sales tool for individual contributors and managers
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like best about gong is the segmented portions of the call gong includes in all records. If I'm listening to a longer call or demo, I can go right to 'budget talks' or 'challenges' and I think that's super helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've used Gong for about 2 months now and there isn't anything I dislike about the platform so far. I think it's way more valuable than just having a recorded call because it highlights who's doing the most talking, segments in the calls, and one thing I really love is they send you a follow up email if there were any action items from that call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems I'm solving with Gong, as an SDR, is providing quality notes when I hand off an opportunity to an Account Executive. For example, if a prospect is speaking about some of their systems and what their looking for, I may not be able to catch all the details - if that's the case, then I can come to Gong and re-listen to that recording and catch what the prospect was saying.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd recommend Gong to any sales organization, sales manager, or individual contributor who is looking to work on their craft, find an innovative tool that will help them be more successful in their role, and provide more transparency into the sales process in regards to their sales reps.

I love that gong is able to give me stats about different aspects of my calls to help me improve my technique.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the transcript of calls is a little bit off, but usually it's not a big deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to break some bad habits by tracking certain words or phrases I overuse during calls. This is so beneficial to getting my technique down.
Brilliant product
What do you like best about the product?
I didn't see the value of Gong until I started using it! Having the ability to review calls after they've finished allows you to concentrate on your call instead of getting distracted taking notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The auto transcribe feature is good but not great. I guess this will improve with time as speech-to-text tech develops.

I no longer need to take notes whilst on a call allowing me to focus on the customer on the call.
Why Gong Is Necessary
What do you like best about the product?
Gong has been most helpful in coaching and team selling sessions with my colleagues. It allows me and my team to go back and listen to our conversations which has been a valuable lesson since it's often that we don't hear everything correctly the first time. It has also been great to listen to other calls to learn more about what language is resonating with our customers or hear about new products being discussed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gong could be more helpful if you had the ability to import call recordings since the recorder isn't always on every call we have with customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong was something I didn't realize we needed until we had it and now that we do, it's hard to imagine solving customers problems without it. Gong has allowed me to share customer feedback with our product development team to provide direct examples and real life scenarios so we can focus more on how we can make the improvements rather than worrying about capturing what they said. This has allowed us to be more strategic and go back to take more detailed notes.
