Gong will take you to the next level

What do you like best about the product?
Having access to gong to as a sales and coaching tool has been a great addition to my sales arsenal. Gong has allowed me to go back and listen to calls to not only find opportunities to improve but to refresh my memory on what was discussed capture important details or information that I may have missed, forgotten or did not add to my notes in Salesforce. I also love being able to listen my peers calls and demo's anytime I want, especially since I like to do this after my own calling hours. Learning from my peers via Gong has helped me improve my talk tracks, provided me with an arsenal of use cases to share with my prospects that wouldn't know about otherwise and create best practices.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was nervous about having my calls recorded and go into a portal for anyone to listen to. I was apprehensive to share my calls and get feedback with my peers and manager but I'm so glad I got over it and jumped in with both feet. Gong will only help you be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Access to re listen to conversations and gather notes.
Getting feedback on what I do well has been really nice.
Knowing where I can improve and being able to make those changes immediately has been great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A place where call transcripts are displayed so I could copy and paste notes and details from Gong to SF
Integrate with Salesforce and auto attach calls and notes to opportunities or contact

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that you can speed up the calls and provide feedback on any given snippet.

The share internally vs. share externally feature is really great as well. Also, the categorization of the call is typically very accurate and helps me to remember what I discussed with clients!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont like how on the "Home" page, there isnt a default search filter that pops up on the lefthand side bar where I can search by client etc. Therefore, I typically search for my calls in the company wide library under "Calls"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So many! Sharing call with clients so they remember our previous interactions, QA with my team to review calls and provide feedback, listening to other team members call that are categorized by Gong, and more.

What do you like best about the product?
While I'm not on the sales team, Gong offers exceptional insight into how our sales team and our prospects are responding to new features. It's invaluable for figuring out if features are really resonating with prospects, which is a group of people it's difficult for Product Managers to talk to. In terms of features, hands down the creation of Trackers is my favorite features. Life saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's some restrictions on how you can use Trackers and other filters (like Said By) which isn't that bad, but I wish there was more flexibility there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps me understand what reps and prospects are actually saying about my features. It provides better data than polling the sales team AND it means they can spend more time selling.

Consistent Improvement and Never Miss a Note

What do you like best about the product?
-Allows me to scale up training quickly because I am able to watch more senior salespeople on calls. My training has gone five times faster due to this ability.
-Allows me to always be up to date with my customers because I can watch the calls quickly before any follow-up calls. This gives me major peace of mind.
-Lastly, I enjoy the fact that I am able to evaluate important data collected from my calls to continuously improve key performance metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike when I forget to record a call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to focus 100% on the conversation without having to worry about missing any item since it is recorded. I enjoy the fact I can watch team members on calls to continuously work toward improvement as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Buy it. It is worth it.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong provides me the opportunity to focus more on the conversation in the moment as well as meaningful analysis, which ultimately leads to efficient learning.

Some of the restrictions due to state laws.

It solves for any missed information or details during conversations.

Amazing Tool For Deep Insights

What do you like best about the product?
Keyword search provides amazing insights into the conversations. It allows us to quickly search for specific sections of the conversations saving loads of time when trying to pinpoint specific answers. For example, when we are looking for answers regarding timelines, this is the best way to get there quickly to ensure that we have all the correct information. I find this particularly valuable as a result of the speed in which I can get these tasks accomplished. Additionally, I really like the fact that the speed bar was upgraded recently. This allows me to save additional time when I am trying to absorb the entire conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search functionality could be more comprehensive. I have had difficulty finding exactly what I am looking for in a timely manor. It would be nice for suggestions to populate, perhaps or more intelligence surrounding this type of feature. I am not sure what the exact answer here is, however most everything else that is offered really does save me quite a bit of time and therefore I feel that this is one of the only areas for improvement. The UX and UI are wonderful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deeper insights and improving quality of conversations. Our aim is to get more and more intelligent when it comes to our sales process. I find that having a library of conversations enables me to significantly level up when it comes to my own abilities on calls.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd say try it, you won't be dissapointed.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is great for listening to previously recorded calls, whether they be your own, a colleague, someone you manage or others within the org. A great way to hear talk tracks, provide feedback and learn about challenges prospects and merchants are going through. The ability to fast forward to calls on the fly and get to the root of questions and have calls transcribed (clearly most of the time) is crucial to get to the root of a call or find a gap or highlight you wanted feedback or guidance on.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is that it shows what calls I've been listening to which can put some people on edge or nervous. It can also be difficult when having the Note Taker function join the call at times when switching from G-Meetings, to Zoom and Microsoft teams etc, as it can just pop in without a notification so asking for consent is missed. Also, if a prospect/external party joins before you do, they can approve it so it is missed as well. Other than that, it is quite seamless and easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, it's been great to listen to my calls with prospects with my lead in order to improve my skills. Historically, call shadowing is painful but Gong makes it easy to leave notes and provide feedback without feeling alienated in real-time. The main benefit is to receive constructive advice quickly without having to take a ton of time out of the day to day tasks to improve. I've also began to listen to other team members calls in order to better myself.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool; offers quite a bit of insight and is unmatched from a call shadowing and AI tool for ongoing call coaching and tracking. Can be used via Mobile as well so great for being on the go.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is an incredible tool to go back to your meetings and review your mistakes and refresh on things that have been discussed. I use Gong mostly to review my conversations with clients and to prepare for upcoming meetings. With great features as listening only to what the client said I can listen to calls to less than half of the actual time of a call. In addition, you can easily skip to the next speaker in a recording to listen to fast forward. Lastly, Gong is analyzing your call to give you a better overview of what topic has been talked about at which time of the conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there is nothing really that prevents me from getting the best out of a tool like Gong. Not that it is perfect but there is nothing that really disturbs my workflow with the tool every time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Gong I improved my conversation skills. I realized often times that I interrupted the other party which led me to mute myself now oftentimes to let the other people finish and talk then. I use Gong also to help my colleagues and give them advice on how to improve in their conversations.

What do you like best about the product?
The transcription services are pretty solid! Great to not have to take crazy notes during sales calls, but instead really focus on the discussion and rely on Gong to consistently capture everything for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of too much... The transcription isn't perfect, but it's understandable and totally fine for what it is - especially if you confirm it on the audio recording.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
having to take notes during sales calls is tough but "part of the process"... no longer!

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of Gong is how searchable calls are. If I'm looking for a call with a certain company or on a certain topic it is super easy to find a call that includes and then jump to that section of the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have anything negative to say about the Gong. The only thing I can probably say is there are a lot of amazing features that I don't think a lot of their customers are taking advantage of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learning more about our customers and the problems they are trying to solve. It helps me know a little bit more about how the customer is using the product and if they would be a good advocate.
