Banging the Gong for Gong
What do you like best about the product?
Gong's a killer product I've been using for over a year now. Overall, it's full featured, but if i had to really pick one thing it does extremely well (over another call analytics app i've also used in the past) it's the quality of the transcript. It's not flawless, but it's pretty close! I also pay close attention to recommendations, such as talk-listen ratio and patience, which has helped me to make impactful improvements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now, a lot of features are disabled like auto-join zoom meeting because I'm one of the only reps outside our SDR team who has an active license. So it's not really a negative about Gong, it's just I have to manually add Gong to my calls which can be a bit tedious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't think of Gong as just a sales enablement/call intelligence tool, but also a Customer Experience solution. Being able to go back and listen to the conversations I've had with prospective buyers informs how I follow up, how i weave in information they've given me to personalize their experience evaluating the software my company offers.
Preserving Tribal Knowledge with Gong.io
What do you like best about the product?
With Gong.io we were able to save the tribal knowledge, which was then used by the new reps as a reference guide to understanding different scenarios, ramp-up and close quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need to be better with recommendations and storage.

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicty to use the software. the auto record feature, the emails message to all the participants once the call is ended. Very easy to use software

May be add the number of days the recording would be available

It listens to every conversation I have with prospects, records, analice and creates valuable actionable insights

Not tropicalized to my region needs, I work in Latam and the conversations are different
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Always record and keep all my conversations, it is a great place to go to gather more insights for my pitches
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try, you have all the metrics you need to control your reps without them noticing it
Gong makes everything so much easier!

It's so helpful being able to record my conversations and watch them back AND have the transcript.

Sometimes the transcript doesn't translate correctly, but it can be hard to hear and it seems to do the best it can :)

I try to take notes during customer calls but sometimes that's hard. It allows me to go back and listen to the call to remember things and share the call with my manager/peers for feedback.

What do you like best about the product?
Improves the process for listening to reps calls but allowing me to find where in the call I need to focus my attention. Their whitepapers are very informational as well.

The mobile app needs to have filters and I would like additional insights.

Great sales intelligence platform to be a better rep. One of my favorite everyday tools so far
What do you like best about the product?
I love it that whenever I am in a meeting I dont have to worry about taking notes. I just need to focus on our prospects objetives and how to get going. I also love it that the intelligence in the platform takes you to the exact moment were you talked about key components in the deal. Like whats is there budget when should they be making a decision and if that wasnt enough we even get a transcript.You can learn more about yourself on a weekly basis and which areas you need to imporve on how to be even better in sales. I absolutely love GONG.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love Gong. I would love for it to have key videos on our opportunity areas as reps. But I absolutely love GONG it makes everyday work so much better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-I dont have to take any notes and there is nothing I miss in my proposals now

Best Self Improvement Software For A Sales Person
What do you like best about the product?
The analysis of calls to give a salesperson an understanding of where they need to improve. If you look at any professional athlete, let's say Golf, you need to see your swing, and understand where you need to focus your improvement. Gong not only let's you see yourself, but through it's voice analysis it identifies your growth areas to focus on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to privacy laws, Gong has to announce that it's recording the session, if you add Gong last minute before your call it can come in late and interrupt. However, this rarely happens.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because of Gong, I can go back and see what I need to improve on, my manager can listen to targeted section of my call (i.e. when I'm qualifying a prospects challenge) without having to search the video manually.
I also like that I no longer have to take notes, important details are all captured and searchable in the transcripts
It is great for refining my demo of new products by listening to colleagues demo's and learning from them as well.
