Super Detailed yet Super Easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
Gong not only brings my conversations into a script but gives me subjects and helpful summaries of what conversations were truly about. I have never worked with a platform this detailed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's not user-friendly, and it takes a while to download and sync with calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to go through my talk-track with clients without having to listen to 20-30 minutes of calls. It's made my workload more proactive and more productive.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for 1-man business up to multi-national companies. If used effectively, this can be one of the best tools for your business for growth and improvement. It does not even have to be for businesses, it can be used for personal growth such as practicing for an interview.

A Sales Team's Dream!

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to go back and listen to all of my sales calls as an AE is invaluable but I especially love the ability to access a transcript of the conversation. I can quickly search the transcript in real time to find what I need. The topic breakdown of calls is very helpful as well. I also utilize the trim feature on calls when sending to prospects. Not sure how I ever functioned without Gong!
What do you dislike about the product?
Language processing of course is never perfect. Also, I wish when you linked to the call, it pulled in a better graphic as a thumbnail. Also, with Zoom, if you leave the room, Gong doesn't come back in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to review calls with prospects and customers. We also use it for training, sharing internally and externally and see how conversational we are making demos. I am able to go back and make sure I am asking the right questions and not making assumptions with prospects' replies. Sometimes in the moment, I miss things that I pick up on the Gong recordings afterwards.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a top notch call recording software, this is the software for you. It will make a difference with your sales team and internal professional development!

What do you like best about the product?
I love how I can use Gong to amplify all of my sales enablement and training initiatives especially on the continuous learning front and after sales people have gone through the basic onboarding
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps the inability to adjust privacy setting per recording is a feature that I would love to see in the product's roadmap.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to re-listen to my meetings so I can take better notes or use it as a reference.

The written transcript is not as accurate as I would like and weird words will pop up here and there.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong's ability to not only record a call but screen capture the video (webcam) and screen sharing are what makes it such a valuable tool. Gong will also separate out speakers and provide valuable analytics on who spoke for how long if it was too much or too little, etc... You can also accelerate or slow down the playback or the recording and search the conversation using keywords. Gong will also give you action items from the conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Gong does send out notifications for upcoming calls and call summaries, I wish it would also send action items from the call rather than having to go back in and review the call to get these. I sometimes have back to back calls where I can't take accurate notes and be able to have a call summary with those action items would great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our previous recording solution was integrated with Zoom and had basic functionality. Gong allows our team to quickly share calls and insights with colleagues and customers. The ability to also centralize all our calls means we're not constantly searching for downloaded calls.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do your homework and due diligence but you'll likely find that Gong is a solid and well-rounded contender to other solutions in the marketplace.

Perfect to stay up to date on calls

What do you like best about the product?
I can't join every call! But with Gong, my colleagues can easily take conversations, or moments in conversations, that are most relevant to me. We've tried other similar tools but this was the easiest by far.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface took a bit of effort before I realized how to find things. In addition, I can't figure out how to subscribe to tags by email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The need to hear feedback, directly from customers, at scale.

launching an on-the-fly call could be a little easier
