It is a nice service but I do no utilize it enough
What do you like best about the product?
The live feedback on calls is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it would integrate with Frontspin, so I could mark calls in front spin and they would pull up in gong instead of me having to search for them
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps me be better at my job when I use it properly. I just want it to be easier to locate my calls.

I love how easy it is to navigate and user friendly.

Nothing really. Everything is great. :)

My customers usually have feedback about what was said, what they thought they heard. Its easy to go back and verify what the actual conversation was.

What do you like best about the product?
I love having an actual record of the call, both audio and transcript. Helps you immensely when referring back to the substance of the conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The topic tagging is ok, but can always get better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Biggest solve is that it reduces the need for notes -- also eliminates after-the-fact misinterpretations of what was said.

If you're looking for an audio recording system for customer calls, it's really great.

What do you like best about the product?
The recording and the transcript functions are awesome. It's easy to miss some information while you are on a call but with Gong you can always go back and fix/improve your notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
the recording is not perfect and sometimes you can miss some calls. I wish there was an option to be able to turn on or off the recording. If I am on a call and for some reason, the line drops and I call back the customer, the recording would not pick up from where I left off nor even allow me to create a new recording.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can always go back and catch some information that I lost in my notes. It's easy to miss some information from your notes while you are on the call with the client and Gong allows you to do so.
Gong also allows you to receive feedback from peers and supervisors by quickly and easily tagging them and having a conversation on the side of the call. It truly makes it easy to give and receive feedback on a specific part of the call or the whole call.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a great tool that allows you to never miss any information from your calls with your clients this is definitively for you. If your organization is big on peer reviews or feedback from your supervisor, Gong is the tool for you. Gong is a great tool with many features and honestly there are still a lot of features that I still even unlocked and fully utilized yet myself.
Great product with invaluable insights
What do you like best about the product?
I love that gong transcribes the call and highlights important points throughout the meeting with key words for followup, etc. Relieves all the stress of note taking as I can always go back and review.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was better integrated with our Salesforce and automatically added the call link.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No need to take notes, great call coaching without requiring my manager to review, and can always share a followup with the prospect or add the call link to the record in Salesforce.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it - will save you a ton of time taking notes and make managers lives easier by being able to easily coach and listen to calls without asking for updates.
Combat the he-said she-said.... with what was actually said
What do you like best about the product?
Gong not only records our customer interactions, but provides useful aggregates that summarizes trends, achievements, and opportunities for our sales and customer success teams. As a marketer, I know exactly when and where in the sales process I need to jump in to offer more enablement for my team. It also helps us better manage sales pipeline by understanding buying sentiment and next steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love everything about Gong! The only downside is convincing your entire company to use it - it requires a cultural shift and that takes time. Once everyone buys-in, it's a breeze!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are better understanding our customer's pain points through first-hand accounts of what it is that they need. By understanding sales and customer success interactions, we can develop a standardized strategy that improves our overall customer experience.

What do you like best about the product?
This thing is a godsend. To be able to quickly identify where particular competitors, pain points, objections, etc come up in calls feels like magic. I also like how you can eavesdrop on a live call without joining it to listen to the rep for future coaching.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were a few snags in getting the Gong bot to not join internal only meetings, but otherwise it was pretty painless to setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to know what objections and use cases come up without having to rely on every SDR, AE and TM to keep accurate notes. We also want a way to coach without having to listen in on every call.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
After reviewing both Chorus.ai and Gong, it was clear Gong was the winner. In fact, it didn't even feel close...
Gong helps to me to stay organized and improve my sales calls.

Being able to go back and listen to things I might have missed, not having to worry about taking such detailed notes and actually being able to listen to my customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike listening to myself talk. There's nothing really I dislike with the solution itself!

I am becoming a better presenter, understanding what words I use too often, when to take pauses/ask questions. It's great to be able to go back an re listen to calls for notes and additional context.
