Really easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Great opportunity for self development without always needing the time from my manager.

Not sure how much I trust the best practice
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Can continually improve and focus on key development points as an individual contributor. Easier to ramp new starters through having all calls recorded. Easier to share best practice amongst the team.

How easy it is to use trackers to find out how much reps are talking about certain topics or using weak language

The transcripts are often incorrect and out of order

Time management and getting analytics more easily with Gong. Reps are also able to access all of their own data
Great call insights
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is great for remembering the things that usually slip through the cracks. It's helpful to always have a data breakdown to analyze the topics and tone of the calls, and to be able to see how they stack up to the rest of the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a few other individual metrics or further help to implement the feedback Gong gives you on your calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to quickly debrief between teams and colleagues helps us keep things transparent and share quicker feedback.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can filter outcalls by the topics I am interested in.

I wish the analytics page was more robust.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to understand our product needs and target audience. Gong captures all this information and there's just so many insights in a customer phone call.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Def one of the best sales/marketing tool I have used. It's worth investing in this product AND using it - you get the opportunity to learn so much about not only your sales team but also your customers.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong allows me to listen on a call without worrying about taking notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see call transcriptions improve. Some are not good and hard to decipher.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the problem of taking notes while actively listening. Gong allows me actively listen and be more reactive on customer calls.

I love that it breaks down the dialogue between both the sales rep and the client.

I think the technology behind the transcript could be improved. The transcripts are not all that accurate.

Gong has helped me improve my calls by it's helpful tips and being able to go back to specific areas of a call that either went well or could use some improvement.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to quickly identify calls that should be reviewed based on the key words and variables your team decides is important.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of guidance in what works best for other tech companies. Setting it up is fairly self-directed.

Problems solving and benefits: identifying poor call habits, identifying ineffective talk tracks, finding competitors
For the scatter brained sales person, it gives you the tools you need to become organized.
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature is that I can switch from speaker to speaker. It really helps me remember what all was said during a call with a customer wich allows me to be able to be present in the conversation with qualified leads. I tend to get more conversions when I am not taking notes while talking ot potential clients. For the scatter brained sales person, it gives you the tools you need to become organized.

the length of time that it takes to upload the calls.

my inability to take notes when on a call.
I was sceptical, but I'm a believer now.

The way it disects and labels calls. It makes it easier for me to find critical points in a sales call.

Integrations are slightly lacking. I dont get every call, just ones through out screen share.

Ita become a must have for me. I dont think I can operate without it now. I will take it with me to my next organization.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can search by key word and caller. This makes finding specific helpful calls super easy. The calls are also organized by caller so it's easy to find when you are speaking or the person on the other line. The organization is pretty easy to follow, espeically in the listening screen.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only part that doesn't work great is when it tries to categorize your talking points. For example, it would think we were talking about discovery, but it was actually about timing. The other things that doesn't work great is the search. Sometimes it would not bring up a call or company or person that I was searching for, but if I searched it another way I could find it. I wish the search was more intuitive in this way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can go back and listen to my own calls and also my peers which helps me improve my skills tremendously. I am able to hear mistakes ive made and pinpoint exactly how and where i need to improve my talking points.

If you're looking for a training tool when talking on phones, definitely take a look at Gong!
