Important Tool for Sales
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate that Gong analyzes my calls to pull out the important pieces of data that we need to know about for our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love Gong and typically like using it on my mobile device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring we are capturing everything from our interactions with clients. Notes are important to make but they lack the context of the conversation. Gong is also a very important tool for training new reps or getting more information about past interactions with clients/prospects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out! There is no risk of trying and you will likely find it is an important part of your business!
Best Call Recording and action item software out there
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it calls out the action items after every call.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you move a meeting inside of google, gong doesn't recognize that the meeting moved and doesn't know to join the call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using gong for training, recording our remote individuals, seeing all interactions at an account level.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's been very beneficial to our organization when positive or negative feedback is given we can share that with the rest of the company.

the ability to take clips of calls etc and share them with my team/manager

Like the ability to do a deep dive after the fact on clients and review my notes for accuracy. The system is easy to navigate and very simple to find what you need.
Seamless call recording and insights
What do you like best about the product?
Gong allows you to effortlessly record all calls and also shows a visual analysis of the call. This makes it very easy to go back and find what was said in the calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any specific dislikes other than that my company also uses a VOIP service to record phone calls and we have not integrated gong with these calls. We are currently only using it for screen share meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps with quality control and also call improvement training. I think we could maximize the value more and could use tips from gong as to how other similar companies do this.
It's there when you need it.
What do you like best about the product?
Sharing Demos with prospects is a great way to catch those up who missed out. After each call I select the demo portion of the call - send the link directly to the prospects email - then I tell them to watch at 2x speed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't been able to extract actionable insights from the analytics. The "patience" metric seems to be fairly accurate but the other parameters arent explained well to me. Having some quick info on how each metric is calculated would be beneficial
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While prepping for my next call, all I need is a quick search for keywords to zoom in on part of the conversation. Listening to things again always give deeper insights!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's been more/less an robust library that's easy to use when performing training, call prep, sharing content with the team. I question the "intelligence" part that is marketed extensively on their website.

I like being able to go back and see certain talk points in my calls with potential prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the user interffce can be a bit overwhelming at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to collaborate with my teammates and work at closing deals together. Seeing what steps they are at in the process, and using that to my advantage.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it for reviewing and taking notes of your sales calls. It is very helpful for future calls, and knowing how to improve.
Amazing sales tool
What do you like best about the product?
Gong provides me with the best sales coaching insights and a wealth of valuable intel about various topics like competitors, pricing, objections, etc. Gone are the days that I have to read and re-read my notes to remember that one really crucial piece of information from a prospect. It's helped me dramatically improve my followup and make sure I tailor my sales process to the specific challenges of my prospect.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little difficult to search for past calls/engagements. The search bar is sensitive to spelling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
tracking conversations, running tighter sales cycles, and identifying common traits across prospects
Gong is a great tool for those working to refine their practice

The basic function of it is great but the usability makes it awesome. Searching your company's entire call bank for key terms to learn from peers...awesome

I've heard of some features but haven't been able to find them. Maybe the UI could be a bit more intuitive.

Great tool for Sales
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use and how it ties directly in to Salesforce now. Using the APP is awesome. I listen in my car on the drive to and from the office.

There seems to be some foggy recordings from time to time but it is rare

Its a great tool to use to coach and sales alot of time as you can sum up notes from the transcript after vs pen and paper. Time saver

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can listen to my calls and find room for where I need improvement. In addition, I can listen to colleagues calls to and us this for personal development as well. I can check in to past calls I've had to get a fresh take on an old conversation or I can read transcripts of the call in case I missed something.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although transparency is GREAT, gong shares my calls with my colleagues as well. So it really helps to build the confidence muscle of hearing your own voice and having others listen in as well. This is a positive but in some cases can be a nerve wracking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Talk to Listen ratios have improved considerably. I am understanding prospects challenges in a much simpler way from building my listening muscle. Also seeing what resonates with certain prospects.
We also use gong for internal calls and meetings. It's great to go back and listen to what needs to be worked on as a company and be able to decipher snippets out of a 2 hour meeting.
