Great Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to listen to calls as soon as you are done makes Gong a great tool for any sales organization
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes calls take a little time to upload to Gong but this is me being picky honestly Gong has no downsides .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to coach myself on calls and being able to listen to my tone and questions asked to propsects solves the problem of not being able to reflect and master your craft.

The call of analytics of Gong is extremely useful to see who is controlling the conversation

There is no search feature for transcribes of words. This makes it tedious to go through the entire call.

The balance of speaking during a call.
Beats timeline functionality is amazing
What do you like best about the product?
The beats functionality is an unbelievable timeline feature that provides even better clarity as to how an account/person is being reached out to, better than a Salesforce contact/account data. This allows you to see a holistic view of how an account is being reached out to and understanding a timeline of discovery calls, when people went cold, and list of longer cold calls, that can directly take you to a gong recording. This allows for more organized outreach for an account that you are reaching out to multiple contacts at.
What do you dislike about the product?
If it was more of a CRM/ outreach tool then for Sales it would be a no brainer. But Gong is very good at what it does.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Listening to yourself is so important when you are on the phone. Nowadays people rarely answer the phone, so when you have the chance you need to take advantage of the opportunity to have a productive business conversation. Being able to get straight to the point, all while inflicting a positive tone is so important, and gong allows you to be really self-reflective on those aspects. Also being able to tag in my admins on calls is awesome, for feedback and commenting on each call that I ask them to listen in on. I am learning different talk tracks for common objections that a prospect will give me, so being able to go directly to the source of that objection quickly and easily is key.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to go back and listen to calls, all while receiving helpful data insights from best practice users and feedback from my manager, is a game changer for me and my team. I also really enjoy the speed up function so that I can power through recorded conversations when leaving feedback. Overall, I'd say Gong has been a true value add to my sales team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one downside about Gong is the transcript function. It isn't quite 100% accurate yet, but I'm sure that will come with time and further machine/voice learning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a leader on the team, I am always looking to join my team's calls to provide support and feedback. However, it is impossible to be in multiple places at once. Gong allows me to better manage my time since it records the calls for my team and highlights key points that I can quickly navigate to and leave feedback immediately.
Another benefit about Gong is the ability to take specific snippets from a conversation and send them to prospects. This has been immensely useful when creating business cases with my prospects since I can remind them/jog their memory of a conversation we've had with a simple click of a button.

Feel free to benchmark it against similar products in the space, I believe that you won't find anything better.
Gong is a superb tool for recording sales conversations.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to focus entirely on the conversation without having to worry about taking notes or forgetting key follow-ups is a game changer. Gong's tools for segmenting topics and pointing you to key points that require action are great, but the stats and coaching that gong provides on the call level as well as in aggregate are helpful and actionable. Being able to get call data back within minutes is impressive for the level of detail you receive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest issue with Gong is when the recorder bot joins a call if you have to restart the zoom the bot will not re-enter and you won't get your Gong data. I wish there was an option to more easily pull the bot in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I never have to try to read badly taken notes or remember what my action items are. I can compare my stats to others to reach out to people for targeted feedback. I can easily tag stakeholders of other functions into relevant areas of calls. The benefits of Gong are numerous.

If you are scaling a sales team, this is an essential tool.

it's so easy to learn with the help of Gong! You are more critical with yourself and it gives ground for constant improvement of my phone and conversation skills.

Ok, it means your boss can hear what you say & do. So what?

- you can go back and double-check on information provided
- you get to improve by help of call analysis and reply

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've been in sales half my life and only now did I come across this tool. Mean to me that not enough companies invest in improving the skillset of their sales team.

2x speed and skipping to the next speaker

It's not easy enough to add gong to a call once you've already started, or if I'm sending the invite for a meeting in just a few minutes time.

Great tool for sales movement analysis
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, great UX, provides deep insights into how my reps sell. It makes coaching fun and forces reps to be intellectually curious. I like the call transcription features as well and find it very accurate. I also find the mobile application very helpful. Building various scripts and sharing examples with other reps is also very easy. I like how resp can listen in live to a call without it being known. I also love to the notes feature. It is easy to use and makes outline calls easy so you can focus on the call and not taking notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really, I would like a tighter integration with outreach.io so things like talk times, keywords, action items, ect...it would be nice if all that lived in outreach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowing how to sell our ICP. We want to understand how to talk nerd to Dev Ops engineers, but still, create a compelling reason and sense of urgency to buy. Gong is helping us understand how hard to step on the gas!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a nominal investment if you use it right. Your org probably spends more on coffee in a year that the cost of gong and gong can be used to sell better!

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that you are able to make comments, call recordings, data analytics, seamless integration with multiple platforms! I think its also pretty cool when I get a notification from my manager when he makes a comment!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't search phone number to locate a person on the search bar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving my communication issue with clients. I love that I get to listen in and self reflect and understand the issue with a certain aspects of my conversation and to improve for the next time.

It's a good tool to be the best person you can be at your job.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has some of the BEST audio transcription capabilities that I have experienced. The break down of the conversations by participant and subject has made reviewing calls a much easier process.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my day to day use as an individual contributor I have no reason to dislike Gong. It does exactly what I need it to do every time without fault. The only thing I have a slightly negative opinion on is the addition of another participant in my zoom rooms. This can sometimes cause confusion for other attendees who are unaware of what Gong is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Gong I was never interested in reviewing my own calls. With Gong all of my calls are organized neatly in one place with great transcriptions, subject break downs and suggestions on how I can improve my cadence. It has also made sharing call recordings significantly easier.
