Best sales software

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is the best sales software I've ever used. It's very helpful for improving performance, sending recordings internally and externally, and staying on target with your sales process.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything I don't like about gong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the best things I've been able to do with Gong is have a clear record of each step in a sales process. This makes a massive difference for accountability as I work with prospects.

Great for learning from your calls

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to review details that I was not able to write notes on.

Assessing my strengths and weaknesses in a call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some calls are not recorded. I would like Gong to record ALL my calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems. The benefits are when you're reviewing your calls and improving your strategies moving forward.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to download video recordings, share them with my team or clients with a few clicks. It's also great to see a transcript with timestamps so I can quickly find a topic of discussion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of at this time, the software does everything I need it to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's been great for call quality control, as well as helping onboarding across the team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure it describes what you need and you won't be disappointed.

Gong - incredible way to analyze conversation

What do you like best about the product?
Gong allows me to analyze my sales techniques along with everyone in my entire organization, and make incremental changes that can be measured. This is incredibly useful and allows for best practices to be realized quickly and replicated across the enterprise.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a bit of time from when a call is made/completed until the call is available on gong to share.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Minimal problems. Benefits are obvious. Ability to analyze the aggregate of the whole org and quickly identify differences that are more successful, then implement and measure success rates. This allows for not only self criticism, but also removes any 'feeling' of how calls went and moves directly into the reality of the data.

Best Revenue Intelligence Tool for Analyzing Conversations!

What do you like best about the product?
For being a tool built for one specific purpose (conversation intelligence), it is incredibly flexible. Love the integration with SFDC and the segmentation and reporting available because of that.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the transcription accuracy still has a ways to go. People slur, speak fast, and mumble, so it's not entirely Gong's fault, but it has a direct effect on whether trackers are picked up or not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Exploiting voice of prospect - it's really informed our marketing messaging, product roadmap, and sales pitches.

Comprehensive Call Analytics

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have all the calls within a few clicks, look for performers and break down the details of the call, the transcripts, how important it is to have the call analyzed so you have the ability to improve yourself
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of recording of certain states, but not their fault. Analyzing may take time, but hey, good things do take time, it's worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nothing much really.

What do you like best about the product?
Not sure where to start. Lots of features. I listen to calls on the road (via mobile). Save calls, search calls for keywords of competitors, read through transcripts of last call before a sales meeting, and more. Also able to provide feedback & suggestions to coworkers., Great tool for my needs.,
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure, have not had any negative experiences. Love the solution &n functionality. Use it daily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Listen to previous calls I skip b/c I am double-booked. Provide & receive feedback with colleagues. Record demos to share with others.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get training, there's a lot to love.

A Sales Reps' Best Friend

What do you like best about the product?
As an Account Executive, I use Gong every day. Without it I would not be as thorough and informed in managing my pipeline. As well, Gong provides my leadership with visibility into my call activity, what I can work on when speaking with my customer base, etc.

My favorite part about Gong is their ability to give me access to all of my calls on-the-go! Whether I am on my way to the office or preparing the busy week ahead, the ability to reference prior calls/demo recordings from Gong's mobile app is vital in my role.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the mobile application is powerful, there are some features found in Gong's desktop platform that does not exist in their mobile instance. For instance, I cannot view team call stats from mobile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your sales team is less transactional and has a sales cycle > 1 month, Gong is a must-have for sales teams looking to stay on top of their pipeline!

Gong delivers and then some!

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has given me the visibility to not only coach my existing team, but to onboard new team members in a much shorter fashion. In todays market, features come and go and even focusing on customer experience only gets you so far as a business trying to grow. I believe a true competitive advantage for our business which is not easy for a competitor to reverse-engineer is coaching our sales team to be the best of the best. When I think of the various tools that make up my sales tech stack, a CRM system (regardless of provider) is more or less just a big repository of data...which is of course important to understand both lagging and leading indicators...however, at the end of the day, it's only as good as the data (hygiene) that's input into the system...Gong on the other hand, takes unadulterated data (conversations) and slices and dices it in a consumable way which in my opinion, packs more value than any CRM tool ever could as it gives you reliable information (when it's needed) to constantly make course corrections and fine tune your team.
What do you dislike about the product?
None...only wish I had this years earlier! The ability to literally review calls in a fraction of the time it used to take frees up time to do the other things I need to do in a given day, but also allows me to review more calls which gives me a larger sample size from which to make decisions and coach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When scaling a sales team, the goal is to create a machine that is basically rinse and repeat. Gong has given me the ability to do just that. The old guard is improving and my new team members learning curve is cut in half...thats huge!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would look at what systems/apps you currently utilize in your tech/sales stack that may increase the value of those and Gong by being integrated in some fashion.

Really insightful growth tool

What do you like best about the product?
The stats are awesome and the ability to share the call or go back and find certain topics quickly is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesnt have the ability to give listening permissions to individual users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is mostly used for our account managers to self evaluate and find opportunities to better service our clients and convey our strategy at the highest level. We also do group discussions weekly and give feedback on peer's calls.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Gong has the edge on its competitors with the quality of its stats, insights and analytics for sure. Once you integrate it, it becomes second nature and an invaluable tool. Its primarily used for sales teams, but we use it to help our team of account managers develop in all areas with self and peer review.
