Best tool ever
What do you like best about the product?
Analysis, metrics, commenting features, coaching capabilities.

The recording in the beginning is awkward and not good quality.

Going beyond just sales insights 📈
What do you like best about the product?
When we initially purchased Gong at Tray.io we were planning on using it as a sales solution, but it very quickly spread across our entire organization--including sales, CS, marketing, and even product. It was extremely easy to deploy and adoption was lightning fast.

One of our fears was that the sales team would view Gong as a nuisance but they have become the biggest advocates of the product. Our sellers now rely on Gong to deliver a great customer experience.

What do you dislike about the product?
We've had an exceptional experience with Gong but there are occasions when the "bot" will be late to join the call. This can lead to an award disruption in the meeting.

What do you like best about the product?
Gone allows me to focus on the conversation with the customer instead of making sure I've gotten all of my notes taken down, it also helps me stay on top of my follow up, and helps me become better on the phones through metrics that they are surfacing
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I do not have any specific negative feedback for Gong. There have been a few calls that the recorder has not automatically joined, but those have been few and far between

It's incredibly helpful with follow up from calls, helping me keep track of action items, and share calls with my manager to get coaching aS WELL
Best sales tool out there! Its like having a my own personal assistant!
What do you like best about the product?
It automatically records my calls and provides me with previous calls prior to the call to review.
What do you dislike about the product?
I struggle to find a "dislike" about Gong, This is not a product limitation but more of an administration issue based on how it's set up at my company. I don't have the ability to delete calls. So I have a number of calls that are "no-shows" where it's just me and a colleague chatting for 10 minutes hopelessly waiting for the client to join.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solve many problems with Gong, one we can provide team members a recording of the calls to prepare and align for future calls. We use the recordings for training purposes to help newer employees with their growth and make sure they understand the value proposition.
Most of all it helps me, by recording and having the transcripts sent, I no longer have to take copious notes and can focus on listening to what they are saying and dig deeper.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
When I think about the required tools needed for me to do my job in enterprise sales, I would include Gong as one of them along with SFDC, Zoom, LinkedIn, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong provides a call recording as well as a transcript, so I can quickly go back and find any action items that were discussed on calls to make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could set a default for sharing options (i.e. share for 365 days with customers as opposed to only 5)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has enabled me to provide my customers with recordings of our training sessions as well as helped me ensure I have no open action items on my end.
Gong is very useful to analyze your calls and improve your communication and sales skills.

You can analyze it based on different categories or skills that you need to improve

None. I think you have an excellent platform here.

I realize that during my presentation that I do 80% of the talking and very little listening. I learn how to pause and listen to customers.

What do you like best about the product?
Love that gong keeps me on my toes with my talk time. It's easy to overtalk your lead if you are not focusing on listening more than talking and this has kept me on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
Love all the features. Find it easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong gives us great insight into what our leads are most interested in and we have been able to direct our conversations more effectively.
Getting Voice of Prospect & Customer
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is an incredibly useful application to help you understand what hell your prospects or customers or actually saying. This is incredible insight that would be usually lost when your SDR is making cold calls or your closing team is trying to understand why the even won the deal.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way for business process outsourcing companies able to log into multiple Gong accounts that they manage vs having to come up with emails using that company's domain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Who the competitor actually is on a deal vs asking a rep to select a competitor from a picklist. Those days are over my friends. Provide marketing or product management with the actual voice of the prospect vs the last lost deal syndrome. Finally get your new hires up and running faster than before leveraging the library. How many countless times have you had a new SDR shadow your rockstar SDR and they just don't get the right calls, leads, demo, etc
Coaching and best practice tips at your finger tips
What do you like best about the product?
Gong allows me to prep for my meetings by listening and analyzing the conversation. I love using gong for feedback and coaching opportunities with my manager. The insights, best practices, and analytics provided help me on every sales call and continue to help mold my craft and improve as a sales professional

Nothing particularly. I've only had positive things to say about Gong and advocate for the entire sales org to utilize it

Gong allows me to revisit the conversation and identify areas of opportunity to dive deeper with the client through questioning. I also check the talk ratio's frequently to help me understand where I need to shorten my talk tracks
