Super Easy

What do you like best about the product?
As a Customer Success Associate, I like that Gong makes it really easy to record, send, and analyze calls. I know it's small, but I love that calls are just automatically recorded so I don't have to remember. I like being able to reference calls or transcripts to remind myself of call content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcripts aren't accurate 100% of the time. I know it's a work in progress. Sometimes I have back to back calls and customers will join the meeting before I can close the last session. I can't split those up yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, it's the problem of documentation. What did I say to a customer? When did I say it? It is helpful for documenting expectation setting.

A must for an on-the-phone sales force

What do you like best about the product?
Option to listen, read transcript or see highlights/questions/deliverables from the call. Like using app to do call reviews during commute to improve.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creep "this call is being recorded voice" though they recently switched from scary man to gentle woman
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So much of solving for the customer in SaaS is about detailed discovery - once engaged in process, Gong is my favorite tool for a long/complex sales cycle and personalized meeting prep. Leading into process, call reviews help me fine-tune my discovery skills (listening and questioning)

Love using this platform

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to search the transcripts of my calls to pull key information. It saves me so much time when I go to prep for an additional call with the same prospect.

I also like being able to listen to other team members calls so I can learn about what is working for them and blend it with what I am currently doing. Gong is definitely helping me become better at my job.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to backload calls (from before bringing on the platform) would be incredibly useful. The ability to take advantage of the analytics right off the bat would be huge.

Also, the transcription isn't the best. It has some issues transcribing the proper words, so sometimes I have to go back to an area of a call to figure out what I actually said. Not a big deal though!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows me to engage with prospects in a more complete way. The ability to send snippets of a call to customers has been extremely useful for looping in different people in large companies. Also, the ability to track my stats on a per call basis has been great from a personal growth and development standpoint.

Unfortunately, we have not been using Gong long enough to reap all of the rewards from the various features, but I believe we are close to our call volume being high enough for the platform to analyze our calls using AI.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Download the app and record all of your calls! It becomes invaluable for discovery calls on the fly.

What do you like best about the product?
It gives me the ability to better coach my teams and also allows me to be focused during calls and can later go back to the call to take additional notes I may have missed.
What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-Great tool for coaching my team
-Easy way to track how the teams are talking to specific and relevant topics
-Really good way to share useful calls with the greater organization
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It may feel a little invasive at first, but you quickly forget about that due to the benefit it provides.

It really does work

What do you like best about the product?
For us, being able to build libraries of calls in different categories has been a game changer. Now we have excellent examples for new team members to learn from. Not only that, but we use them for ongoing training as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind. My experience so far has been everything I was expecting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are seeing which reps are really good in different call categories and giving them real, valuable feedback with a whole stack of examples that drive them to better results. And we are learning faster! It helps us to prioritize our feedback and give very specific direction.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to improve your sales training, get Gong. If you want to see areas that each rep can improve on, get Gong. If you want to close more deals, Get Gong!

Gong is the real deal - best sales coaching tool out there

What do you like best about the product?
Every call is recorded which enables my reps to self-critique, ask for feedback, return to a portion of a call to gain clarity on positioning and follow-up requirements, and to share across the organization when they encounter new feature requests, new use-cases, etc.

Technical support is really fast and responsive, and the Customer Success Manager really makes an effort to understand our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
in very rare occasions, we've had some prospects request that they not be recorded, which of course, we honor. We do get used to having the recording of a call, and in those cases have to remember that we won't have it to go back to, so the in-the-moment coaching and note-taking have to really 'ramp up' again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross-team collaboration and communication. Enabling our product team to hear new feature requests and customer use-cases without the filter of sales or customer success reps interpretation.

What do you like best about the product?
I like everything about Gong. What I like the most is how quickly calls are made available to review. I like how easy it is to review not just my calls but every and any call in my company. I also like all the stats that they make available. Transparency is key to accountability.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything I dislike about Gong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping me overcome objections efficiently and effectively. I listen to my own calls. Think about what to say and make sure I polish it up so my delivery is effective. Also gong allows me to listen to my high performing colleagues and get tips and tricks from them.

Sometimes it takes awhile for the calls to get uploaded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to stay on topic better, I am able to realize if I'm talking too much or not enough. Being able to go back to listen to my calls and my teams calls is extremely beneficial.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that gong provides analytics on the language that is used during the call and helps to note different items that might have been missed in standard note taking. The ability to copy parts of the call or share the call with others is key to helping the larger understanding where we need more interest in development, what challenges our customers have and where their deployment is.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the way the transcript is difficult to read. I would like to be able to make comments on the transcript for parts where the transcript is wrong. In addition the algorithm doesn't differentiate between when we are having a strategic review versus a renewal conversation. It would be great if there was a way to recategorize if needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows me to go back and look at conversations, reference them and get a closer look at what clients ask for. It's been invaluable when I've needed time to review what had happened. I think that gong will continue to get better and we will continue to find new ways to use Gong for efficiency. I really enjoy the easy hands off way Gong records our calls. I do wish that Gong had a way for us to be less obtrusive in the beginning of a call, often i'm already talking and it interrupts me in the middle of a conversation to announce that it's there.
