Perfect sales improvement tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can go back and listen to old calls with clients at anytime. This helps me pick up on things I may have missed the first time and allows me to circle back to clients with stalled deals. Gong has lead to more
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly cannot come up with a dislike of Gone. The functionality and usefulness are fantastic. Everyone in a sales role needs to utilize this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to improve on the thoroughness of my consultation with clients. Having the ability to go back and listen to a call and pick up on small details after the initial call is amazing. I am able to sell a wider range of products and find better solutions to client needs because of Gong.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the stats that are shown after each call. It shows me what went well and a what I can improve on!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I think it's great that you can listen to other calls, not just your own, so that you can hear how others set up a call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can go back and listen to the call if I think I may have missed some information during the initial call. I can also critique myself.

Not really. I think they are doing a great job!

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature is the ability to quickly revisit key moments of a client call that’s essential for informing a personalized and thoughtful follow-up; this is particularly helpful when you have 50+ clients in your book, each with their own respective goals/needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
One constructive feedback/product suggestion would be to have a regularized/maybe monthly reporting on interesting patterns/insights about my calls for that month. That seems like a light lift for Gong but a huge value add for users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tremendously helpful in providing transparency/accountability and insights for sales coaching.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong enables you to self-critique your calls and uses artificial-intelligence to provide feedback on what you already do well and what your areas of opportunity are. Gong is also helpful for sharing customer feedback with product management and sales leadership. Sharing recordings with customers enables them to more easily convey value to colleagues who were unable to attend the live demo.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, Gong is a well-built software solution. The transcription, like most voice-to-text tool, is not perfect, so sometimes you need to refer back to the audio recording. I have found Gong call-recordings and analytics to be very helpful, but the value of their recently released Gong Beat timeline capability is less clear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Your team can create libraries of calls that illustrate best practices, so teams can learn from top performers. Snippets of the recordings can be sent to customers to help them get a refresher of the demo of share with their teams. Gong is also helpful to product-management, as it enables them to listen to customer feedback about enhancements and competitive intelligence.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Upon considering Gong, ensure that you position it as a coaching and learning resource for your sales team. When we first implemented Gong, many people on the sales team were concerned that it would lead to micro-management, rather than a coaching and learning resource.
Amazing Program!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can go to calls and find specific key words that I can jump to in the call. It shows me my call percentage, for example, I talked for %50 of the call and the customer talked for %50 of the call. This information alone highlights opportunities for improved conversations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything in this program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The coaching benefits and self critiquing benefits are endless.

This is extremely helpful, and some of the best recording software I have ever worked with.
Great Collaborative Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is a useful tool for coaching and collaboration. Without gong, many pieces of information from clients would have been overlooked, and feedback could not have been provided by coaching. I use Gong on a daily basis when pre-call planning and training. Gong allows me to hear what I sound like to the client and allow me to be aware of things I can change to sound better on the phones.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes calls don't get recorded, but most of the time this is due to user error in disconnecting form dialer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can catch things that clients said that we may have missed while taking notes, leaders can critique what we can do better to improve at our jobs
Best Sales Training Tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy, it's automated and intuitive. You get a % breakdown of talking time between everyone on a call and flags for different topics throughout the conversation. I really appreciate the automated emails of the action items from a call. This is a tool I don't want to do business without in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
The searching capability in the tool of my recordings versus other team members. It would be easier if we used consistent naming. I haven't done much research on how to organize my files yet so this could just be my inexperience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coaching to improve my presentation skills. Removing filler words, helping my understanding of the call by listening to the recording and learning to listen more and talk less.
Gong has revolutionized my selling abilities
What do you like best about the product?
Between the training capabilities, mind-sharing, and ability to focus on calls, Gong is the best sales tool I've ever used. Gong has truly revolutionized the way our team sells, trains and interacts with our customers/prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of security requirements in place, there is a bot that joins the calls and does a little, 'this call will be recorded' which can be awkward at first, but overall, not a big deal at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has given me and my the team the ability to focus on key parts of our discovery process for individual growth. From a collaborative team perspective, rather than setting up a pre-call with my solutions team, I can just shoot them over the recording and it saves my prospect's time.

#JustDoIt - Gong has proven time and time again to be a huge value add to our org. Between sales, success and solutions engineering, everyone has access to great insights which save time and make our conversations more efficient & effective!
Everyone should use Gong
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to get feedback from my manager, his manager or anyone else in the org on any call I've had is invaluable. The information is easy to share, either the full call or an important snippet. Gong also allows me to focus on the conversation I'm having with my prospect and go back to take notes later. Until now, I had no consistent way to listen to my own pitch-- this is helped me identify so many things I can improve and then I get to go back and see if I actually fixed the problem on the next call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of any downside- very intuitive tool with a ton of upside. They biggest challenge I can see is if everyone in the org hasn't adopted it and there isn't a culture of feedback

Coaching- Sales managers never have enough time to sit on every call but with this they can give feedback on any discussion I've had. It's also important for reviewing myself, my progress, and taking notes I may have missed.
Scaling with Gong
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to gain insights into our conversation, downloadable transcripts, it has been great for coaching and objection handling as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I truly have nothing bad to say about this product.

We are a seed stage start up and we needed the learn what our messaging was/ value props are. Gong helped us expedite this entire process.
