Gong is the single most important tool for my sales role
What do you like best about the product?
Gong has so many features that make it great for onboarding and ongoing training. It also allows sales people to be fully present on the phone without having to worry about taking notes because Gong is recording.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can not think of anyway to improve the solution
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to re-listen to sales calls after the fact allows us to fully understand and synthesize a prospects needs in follow-up communications

What do you like best about the product?
The statistical breakdown of the calls creates really easy guides and measurements for improvement. I can dissect my performance as much as I want and get really detailed feedback. The ability for me and my co-workers to comment on my calls is also incredibly valuable as we try to get feedback. I've found the transcription service valuable as well for when my note taking wasn't as detailed as I wanted.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a while for the system to learn and analyze your calls for really detailed analysis. It's not so much of a detractor as it is the way it works. But that honestly just means it gets more useful and meaningful the longer you use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it for sales call reviews. It has really helped us nail down trends we were missing and unable to percieve. Question rates, talk time, interactivity. These are clear markers for success that we were never talking about until Gong started recording them.
Great platform for learning, administrative, and sharing purposes.
What do you like best about the product?
Love the fact that I can share audio/screen-shares with customers so they can share with their teammates. Very useful for keeping tabs on what was discussed/not discussed during meetings as well. Easy search functionalities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasional glitches such as choppy audio playback in Gong (rare).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Has impacted the way I track historical meeting data and has helped to get my company's solution into the eyes of prospects' key DMs if they're not available to get on calls.
Best tool for sales reps in high velocity role
What do you like best about the product?
As a long time Gong user, I'm a huge fan for one simple reason: I have so many calls each day -- I often don't have time to send recap emails of my calls/demos out until the conclusion of my day. With Gong, meeting notes, calls to actions, timelines, etc. are right at my finger tips.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything that comes to mind about this tool or the functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When you have a bunch of calls in one day, sometimes they all seem to blend together and the notes you may have thought were detailed, sometimes lack context. Gong makes it dead simple to find what you need quickly and easily -- huge benefit to a high velocity sales reps / teams.

Try it out -- just about everyone I know using it loves it.

What do you like best about the product?
Do you ever feel like a call has gone super well and get off wondering how you could replicate that? Or have you had the worst call of your life and would love to avoid that feeling ever again? Well, gong allows you to go back, listen, learn, dissect, reflect and grow as a human and a salesperson.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I disliked about the software. I think it made a lot of sense and has a ton of bonus features I enjoy like a heads up for upcoming calls. For the call summary with action items, I guess I would love it if that was 100% accurate but I understand there are technological and linguistic limitations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Realized how to improve myself as a salesman. I have been able to identify patterns and figure out where and how I am losing and/or winning deals. It has also enabled collaboration across our team in a very targeted and productive way. We have also been able to solve the issue of note-taking during the call. The gong app is our very own personal assistant diligently taking notes throughout our calls so that we can focus on what really matters in the moment.

Take your sales conversation to the next level
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Gong for the last 6 months, and this has transformed the way I run my sales call and follow up with my prospects. Gong integrates with Zoom (for our conferencing) and Aircall (for our calling), and now with our Gmail, so that 100% of our sales conversation are captured!
I have now the habit of reviewing all my calls, good and bad, sharing them with the rest of my team for feedback, and capturing bits for our library of calls. While it's not always easy to go and listen to your calls ("I hate my voice on recordings!), it has really taken my performance one step further. The automatic detection of topics (depending on our script and talking points that we had setup in the system) makes it very easy to navigate in calls. The transcript is reliable as well, and helped me several times get all my action items together.
Gong also has actionable insights on talk ratio, patience, filler words which also help you improve your calls..
Finally, looking at the metrics at the team level has helped us put together best practices and look at our efficiency, and not just at our absolute performance.

Go one step at a time. The product is very powerful but needs time to master.

Gong helps me sell better for the following reasons.
1. It allows me to be extremely present on calls. I'm able to conduct authentic discovery and really speak to the needs of customers versus being distracted by taking notes.
2. I'm able to tailor future conversations. I love going back and listening to calls to make sure I'm nailing my next presentation. I look like a rockstar when I'm able to use my prospect words back to them. I'm also able to confidently present information because I know it's founded in truth.

Honestly - nothing! It's so robust. It gives me features that I didn't know I needed and now I can't live without them!

Gong has made me a better salesperson. My management uses the calls to coach me. I love how easy it is to review my own calls by topic. It's the most important tool for my selling process.

Take time to dig into the more advanced features like "beat". There's tons of valuable data in the solution that will help you improve your sales process.

Being able to go back and review my calls has truly helped my sales process. Gong allows my manager to listen into my call and provide great feedback.

The transcripts are not always the best but it's manageable to get through. I don't always have

Of not knowing where you can improve. The ability to go back on a call allows me to pinpoint where I can improve. Also, being able to listen in on my colleague's calls helps me learn from their mistakes and successes.

Regardless if you're on the Sales side or customer success side. Gong helps companies improve their calls and pinpoint where they are going wrong.
Great Product
What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity of being able to search within calls using specific keywords or phrases. This really makes listening to calls a lot easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything that I don't like about the software yet. Overall, the software has worked great for what I use it for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps me listen to sales calls to verify what we are telling clients. I'm able to find conversations effortlessly to make sure we are not only offering our service in the right way, but verifying that the client is always taken care of.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend using Gong for tracking calls in your company. It really works great and ties very well w/ our salesforce software.

What do you like best about the product?
Really like that gong record and transcribes the calls we make, be it SDR calls or AE calls!

We had a glitch last week where certain calls did not record but overall the experience has been great
