Incredibly useful product for all!
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the fact that it transcribes my conversations. It makes it really convenient to go back to a conversation and analyze it a bit more.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I have with it is that it doesn't transcribe foreign languages. Most of my clients are in Latin America and Spain so when I speak to those clients, I do not have the option and view the transcript.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is incredibly useful for quality assurance purposes which helps account managers and salespeople be better at their job. It is also a great replacement for note-taking which can be time-consuming and cause you to miss important details.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have multiple people comment on calls. I can ask questions of my manager and he can review and get back to me through Gong's platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The email alerts that a new call has been added to my Gong account can get a little overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reviewing my calls allows me to identify on areas of improvement. I also like that I can listen to my co-workers call who are successful.

You can listen to any of your team member's calls and view keywords, subjects, search dialogue
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything is great! An improvement would be if it could integrate with SFDC.

I'm able to train my team on best practices, better sales calls.
Great Concept, Well Executed
What do you like best about the product?
Digging through calls is so painless. Even the display that shows who is talking when makes a huge difference, searching transcripts from calls is incredible. Sharing and organizing across the team is great, too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have to get pretty nitpicky here, but sharing snippets could use a little work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are a few fronts here. First, it helps me as an individual salesperson by making it easy to discover the exact section of a call I'm looking for, which means I don't have to worry nearly as much about taking notes. Second, the ability to organize calls and snippets into folders is a huge asset for growth and onboarding new salespeople.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'm not super familiar with the competition, but my understanding is that Gong is the leader in the space, and I'm not surprised at all.

The platform is very easy to use and provides a fantastic analysis into the recorded call.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing about Gong itself that I dislike, my only issue is making time within my schedule to go back and listen to the Gong recordings; but that's my problem, not Gong's.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps me to self-evaluate my job performance when speaking with my customers on the phone so that I can improve my skills. I also use Gong's recordings to share training calls I've had with my customers, so that they can pass along our training recordings to others on their team who couldn't attend our original session.
BDRs' Dream Sales Enablement Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Requesting feedback from my supervisor on certain parts of my calls is one of the most valuable features for me. At times, I will come across a question I have never been asked by a prospect, and it's extremely helpful to request feedback at that certain point of the call to gain immediate feedback on how to tailor my response.
What do you dislike about the product?
The translation from voice to "script" is incredibly useful for visual learners. However, the translation is imperfect and has opportunity to improve... Perhaps my southern accent has something to do with it as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Account Executives within my organization are able to capture their interactions with prospects, and these conversations are used as training for BDRs. Our sales team in its entirety is held accountable for what they discuss with prospects because we are able to go back and listen to recordings at 2x speed to revisit information.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Encourage all users of the product to record their calls to heighten its benefits! I enjoy listening to others' calls on the Gong app when I'm getting ready for work, driving, etc. to develop my skills and get different perspectives. We have Gong linked with GoToMeeting, so all calls are recorded.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is very user friendly. You get the license and you're off and running. Gong does a phenomenal job recording calls and the quality of the call when listening back is superior. Gong has been great for listening to calls where you might have missed key details OR need to double check for understanding. We have been able to expand our uses of Gong outside of the sales team and really has become an organization wide tool
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been using Gong for about a year and I do not have any complaints. It has been a game changer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has been a great addition to our Sales organization. Gong has provided the opportunity for personal, team and cross departmental growth and is leveraged in many capacities on a daily basis to move our pipeline forward as well as provide visibility and training opportunities to colleagues across the organization.
Great product for coaching and training
What do you like best about the product?
Love that it gives us a warehouse of call examples for our new reps to listen two during their first weeks of training.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if this integrated with Salesloft, so that we could see our calls and then listen to them right there instead of having to go to gong or the saleforce activity
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quicker training time, call coaching does not have to be in real time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We used this product instead of spending money on outside sales rep training and it has done wonders for saving peoples time and company money
I use Gong on all my calls and find it very useful for self evaluation

I really don't like the emails updating me on the calls availability. I have removed myself from the email currently.

Knowing the value of conversation. Knowing how much I talk and how much the partner is talking. helps me know that I need to listen more. in my line of work listening is going to help me reach my goals.

Great tool to review calls and see at a glance what was the primary focus of the call and who "ran" the call in regards to talk time.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how gong will color code what you were talking about. It helps make things really easy to find so that I can know where my strengths are. It helps me also know if I am wasting time talking too much about one part of our product. It helps me be able to easily find key points to listen to. It also is very helpful if I forget something about our phone call. I can go back and easily find what I need to listen to to best help our partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love the emails that I get each morning telling me about my calls. I know that they are there, they are already on my calendar. I also think that the color code is sometimes a bit off of what we are actually talking about. It will sometimes mark small talk when I am actually talking about business related things to our partners. I have also noticed that gong doesn't record all of our calls, that may be a problem on our end but something that I have noticed none the less.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are finding trends of what phrases are effective and what things are not. I have personally benefited by listening to my co-workers calls to learn from them. It is great to be able to listen to the phone calls of people who are doing really well at their job and choose which one of their calls based on the color code that tells me which one to listen to based on what I need to work on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is the easiest phone reviewing system that I have worked with. It is easy to search and find calls that are most related to what I need to learn. Its easy to train and to improve performance.
