Great for easy web conferencing!

  • March 20, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can track who is talking and what the topic of discussion is. It makes it easy to move to specific parts of the conversation without having to spend excessive time backtracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a split screen option so that I may screen share and talk face-to-face with the other person. If there is this feature, I'm just not aware of it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hosting online demonstrations of our software. Easy to review calls, great to share with incoming employees who are acclimating to the role and need to see what is expected of them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's great for online demonstrations because both parties can talk, and you can record the conversation and backtrack to specific parts easily.

What do you like best about the product?
Always being able to review my calls to recall specific details without missing a beat.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only gripe is that the articles from marketing often espouse a direct link between correlation and causation. The product is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reviewing past calls, Coaching and receiving coaching.

Amazing Sales Enablement Tool

  • March 20, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to solicit feedback internally and therefore improve skill set.
Easy to distribute recordings.
Referencing calls retroactively.
Coaching
What do you dislike about the product?
The video is often a bit grainy. Typically this isn't an issue if you understand the context of what's taking place on the call, but if you're attempting to read anything that's not size 28 font on a PowerPoint slide, then good luck.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Listen to the calls that matter the MOST vs finding the needle in the haystack. Converts the call into a transcript to better search for keywords. Represents the call visually so you don't have to listen to the entire call.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You will not find a better tool to enable your team.

There seem to be bugs that are still getting worked out. Sometimes the speaker and topics sections don't work.

Training and development. Ability to refer back to call for note taking.

Game changer for accountability, notes, and training

  • March 20, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to go to Gong for calls where I need to remember specific details of a previous call. I also love the coaching capabilities and language analytics. It has made me exponentially more effective as a communicator in both my work and home life.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the past, I wished there were more ways to edit a call before sharing it with a prospect. This is something that has recently been fixed, but I have not tried it out yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coaching, call replay, and analytics have all impacted me positively. It has saved time in writing pages of notes after a call - maybe this isn't a great thing... but I review previous calls before entering a new call already so it doesn't matter a whole bunch.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have already recommended Gong to 3 other sales leaders in other organizations. It is a gamechanger and will significantly impact close rates. There are only so many swings... Gong helps to make them really count.

Great recording capabilities

  • March 20, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The capabilities to look into keywords after a call and review the call
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a huge fan of the message interruption "this call is being recored" would rather it said it to the people joining first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working on lingo and terminology used on calls. Personally I have really benefited from listening to my calls after to take more thorough notes and improve the calls going forward.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great company to work with - if you are seeing that something that you don't like or want to improve bring it to their attention and they will work on it.

What do you like best about the product?
I like adding comments that time stamps the call. Very effective way to call coach.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike when I accidentally exit out of a call on my mobile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving best practices and proper pitching around our product. I have seen our reps uplevel and become more sophisticated consultants.

Fantastic Solution

  • March 20, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Gong automatically jumps into WebEx meetings and transcribes all calls into easily searchable text. This has saved me hours of backtracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
I should be able to customize the "this call is being recorded..." message at the beginning of the call. We should be able to state exactly when this jumps into the call as it tends to jump in a bit too late.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability for sales managers to monitor employees calls. Give feedback directly and point out exactly which portions of the conversation they are referring to. This would usually have to happen during 1 on 1 discussions, which can focus on deals and sales tactics at this point

What more could one ask for?

  • March 20, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Gong truly does more than what one would reasonably need, in my opinion - everything from the topic break downs, the clear, concise recording of conversations, the notes feature -- love it.
What do you dislike about the product?
no complaints at all. does exactly what it needs to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not really solving any business problems for me at the moment, but it definitely helps with retroactive analysis of client calls, as well as a great tool for review of information that may have slipped by during the phone call.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a tool for call analysis and playback, look no further than Gong.
