Amazing technology to help reps sharpen their craft
What do you like best about the product?
I love how simple Gong is to use. Either review recent calls or search for a previous call. Simple to filter for which type of calls you're looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly can't think of anything that I dislike about Gong!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has helped me identify talk time for me vs the prospect on the other end of the call. This has been specifically for me, as a newer rep looking to improve. I review calls where I talk more than I should be and has helped me ask more open-ended questions to make for better conversations for both myself and the person on the other end of the call.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for technology to help review calls/demos, look no further. Gong has exceeded my already high expectations.
Makes the life of a Salesperson so much easier
What do you like best about the product?
Love being able to go back and review my calls at 2x speed to recap my notes and learn from my mistakes. It eliminates guess work on whether or not you heard someone correctly and makes building business cases much easier. It's been a huge benefit to us.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I have is that I wish there was an app to make listening on my phone easier while I'm driving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seriously has changed our sales process by making it easier for management to review calls and give advice as well as building business cases.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the integration with my calendar so every meeting is automatically recorded (how many times have you forgotten to hit record on a meeting??). When reviewing recordings, I love the visualization of when and where different people on the call are speaking so it makes it easy to skip through to key parts of the conversation that I want to pay attention to. The integration with Salesforce to show the meeting links directly in the activity history of an Opp,. And then I love how it shows you the common words used in the call - especially for win/loss interviews, this can be valuable in the evaluation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I wish I could do in Gong is download the call recording as a video file, as it'd be nice to do that once in a while. But it's not a deal breaker in any way. For what I need them for, they do everything I need and I don't have any complaints. And whenever I've had questions or needed help, I love how their support chat is right there in-app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Gong across our entire business. Sales and Support uses it for coaching and training, as well as an easy way to share a recorded meeting with a prospect or customer, I personally love it for win/loss interviews where I may need to review a call a few times or share it with colleagues. I love it because we use Webex, it joins my call automatically, I don't have to remember to hit record, and I don't have to worry about exceeding my Webex recording limits which I do frequently.

Gong is an simple way to monitor your reps and provide instant and relevant feedback to them all while compiling applicable data across all calls to help you drive your business.

I would like to see a more robust hierarchy built into the app..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps us coach our reps on individual calls with a simple and intuitive UI that enables quick and relevant coaching. The voice to text capture allows our company to compile data to enable the ability to track trends for both advantages and warning signs across the whole organization. We use Gong for both our sales and post sales organizations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Gong is a solid product and worth looking into for your org. We use it for both our sales and post sales teams to record and capture data on all our customer interactions. The UI is intuitive and easy to use all while providing a rich feature set. In the time we have been a customer they have provided excellent support and continue to improve the product with new and relevant features.
Amazing product! Not only is it a great sales team tool, but it is awesome for product research too!

Its ability to transcribe calls and allow you to search the text, makes it an invaluable tool for our product team.

Would like to see better control and management options for the grouping functionality.

Recording customer research calls, and using the ability to group and search calls to help with Product research.

Amazingly easy to set up, and even easier to use! Great tool to have for our team.

We use WebEx integrated with Gong. The ability to review the details of calls after the fact helps to avoid mistakes and improve skill sets!

Taking an hour to "analyze" the call is inconvenient but totally worth the detailed info you get.

Gong is a game changer
What do you like best about the product?
There's no better way for me to learn how I'm doing than by watching my sales calls. Also, Gong gives me the ability to watch those on my team who are superior on calls than I and see how they do.
What do you dislike about the product?
That's a tough one. The search is good or, at least, the terms mentioned in conversation but I guess it could always be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're just trying to get better. Gong is essential to that. Without it, I'm pretty much in a bubble, but with it I can get pointers from my boss and colleagues.

I don't know who the competitors are but they'd have to be pretty good to go against Gong.

it's seamless and it just works. invaluable tool to have for any business
What do you dislike about the product?
occasionally, i'll get a "heads up on today's calls" email from Gong and the calls listed in the already occurred in the past. It's a small issue and doesnt detract from the solution.

I love that Gong lets me easily navigate to a specific point during a conversation. This has been super helpful for call reviews/coaching, reiterating key points of the discussion, and sharing best practices with my teammates. The calls upload really quickly as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some calls do not record, but this is minimal
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Price negotiations, timeline, and general sales skills. We're able to quickly identify how much time we spend discussing features vs value, at which point a deal was worked out or derailed, and what we could do better next time.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Gong is the fact that every call is recorded in a manner where it is extremely easy to find specific parts of the call in the future. If my pen dies, or I lose my web page where I'm taking notes on a prospect - I can go back into the call and quickly listen to my qualification at x1.5.

What do you dislike about the product?
What do I dislike? Honestly, not much at all. If I had to find a complaint I'd say sometimes it adds a hair of stress knowing every conversation is recorded. But its just part of stepping out of the comfort zone to get better at sales, and this dramatically speeds up the process with good coaching.

Quickly improving as a sales rep. I can review colleagues calls to identify what they do best that I should adopt. I can listen to my calls and reflect on things I should change.
