Absolutely Love This Software!
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is simple to understand and effective to use. It gives complete accuracy and insight to performance metrics and is a convenient and useful tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment I have no dislikes. I use Gong on a daily basis and the fact that I can review my calls is extremely helpful an adds insights to where I can improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps me to refine lead searches and optimize mty performance by giving me clear indications on where to focus my efforts.
Perfect Call Analysis and Performance Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Gong gives exactly correct details of the call and helps in accessing my performance. I like that it offers an overview and to-the-point answers. I enjoy having my performance review, tips to improve, and call records all in one place. It's great that the initial setup of Gong was very easy, and I find it just perfect.

Gong provides exact call details and helps assess my performance. It offers an overview with to-the-point answers and consolidates call records and performance reviews with tips to improve.
Exceptional Voice Recognition, Needs More Research Features
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Gong's voice/speaker identification; it's excellent and much better than other research software we've used. The insights captured in summaries are of higher quality than competitor products. Even though Gong isn't specifically designed for product research, it works very well for us in that capacity. Setting up Gong was quite easy, and getting access was straightforward for me. We previously used Marvin, but Gong has performed better in several areas.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gong isn't designed for product research, but still works very well for us in that capacity. Features that support research goals and insights could help us further if developed. More ways to track themes or insights across multiple interviews could be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Gong to capture customer interviews, helping me evaluate how features work for them. Its voice identification and insight quality are excellent, outperforming previous software.

Versatile Tool That Elevates Coaching and Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I love how versatile gong is. I started using Gong as a coach, which really helped my professional development, as my manager was able to listen to my calls and provide feedback. Now, as a data analyst, I love that gong surfaces actionable insights and engagement metrics.
I have Gong product launch certification and it has made implementing this tool a breeze. Also, I am in awe with the customer support library! I use Gong everyday!

What do you dislike about the product?
As a Gong Admin, there are some functionalities I wish gong did differently. For example, the permission profiles are a bit convoluted and there is not a easy way to ensure that everyone has access to forecasting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows our product, marketing, and leadership teams to hear the voice of our customers directly, which helps enable our company to go to market faster and better.
Seamless Recording and Powerful AI Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
The recording is seamless with perfect call analytics and call transcription and next steps via recent AI aspect introduced in Gong.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime, the call analysis takes a bit much time and produce the call recording. The application in general is a bit slow. For custom integration with other platform, it is a complex process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For sales and pre-sales team, I appreciate the conversation intelligence of Gong with their highly accurate call transcription, carefully segment objections, pricing, competitor mentions with high accuracy during recording and seamless sync with SFDC.

It can be challenging to navigate at times. With so many features and moving parts, it can feel overwhelming if you’re not sure where to start or how to best use specific functionality.

Gong has provided us with the tools to identify specific areas where we need to improve. It has also made it easier for different team members to collaborate and compare their work.

The processing time after the call ends is much too long.

This tool helps summarize customer conversations, detect customer intent, and understand the overall customer sentiment. It also allows you to keep track of ongoing conversations and refer back to historical data from previous customer interactions.

Intuitive, Efficient, Needs Faster Synthesis
What do you like best about the product?
I find Gong incredibly useful for recording and synthesizing my sales calls. The ability to share clips from the calls with clients and internal teams is great. I love the user interface; it's extremely easy to navigate. Gong was especially helpful during my onboarding, allowing me to shadow other sellers, watch full sales motions, and ramp up efficiently, even without a formal onboarding process or team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's got a delay in synthesizing calls. So I use Granola for that one aspect. I wish Gong was faster. I'd even take the call synthesis live and receive the recording later as opposed to waiting to receive both.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps with training and onboarding, making me more efficient in sales motions and post-call follow-ups by recording and summarizing calls. It's crucial for shadowing during onboarding and education as we lack a formal process.
