What do you like best about the product?

Select Star offers a highly detailed column/field-level lineage feature that enables precise tracking of data origins and transformations. This capability is particularly beneficial for data teams where analysts/engineers frequently edit tables and fields, as it helps track the potential impact of future changes on downstream processes.

With the ability to integrate various visualization tools, Select Star offers the association of dashboards with tables in the data warehouse. This feature allows users to see exactly where each table field is used, down to the specific page of each dashboard.

What do you dislike about the product?

There is a certain learning curve for maximizing its advanced features e.g. ERDs or lineage visualization. Enhanced documentation or use morecases could help mitigate these challenges.
