Good IT coonsulting service for offshore
What do you like best about the product?
the talent the have, and the variety of job functions the IT side of things can provide
What do you dislike about the product?
My dislike of Collibra would be that they do most of their work off shore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As someone who works in recruiting, I know that Collibra and their services would be able to help us in terms of meeting deadlines with talented people.

What do you like best about the product?
Collibra provides an automated data catalog and data lineage features to enable transparency and traceability. It helps us trace the data from source to target and publish a data catalog for self service consumption.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data integrations are challenging to set up depending on the availability of connectors. This could be made better to ensure the connectivity can be established easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collibra enables a self-service data catalog, data lineage and traceability for reporting and self-service data discovery. Our self-service performance has imporvoed.
Collibra Great tool to use for Metadata Documentation
What do you like best about the product?
We are using Collibra for metadata documentation across the enterprise. It helps in maintaining documentation and getting it validated by proper owners
What do you dislike about the product?
Collibra is a good tool but it can learn from other collaborating tools and can have smoother approval process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collibra is solving Data governance and metadata maintenance for the Enterprise.
Best for the data management tools for implementation wisely
What do you like best about the product?
The collibra platform is the best in the market, and it works with metadata solutions in our business growth. With so many features and solutions based on the market strategy, users can quickly adopt and use different functions. And support for rest API is more heplful for our business. And overall good as of now.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing much, only UI for some places, making it unresponsive and difficult to back in. Some areas need to refresh only. But it's not a big one I hope the team will fix it soon and get an update on the same.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most benefit is the integration and access management system to widely user in our system, intead on one by one and we go with one stop solution and now we are growing with business and data management system.

The user interface is confusing and clunky

Easy to use tool structure and good licensing model

Still bit difficulties with manual import of assets (mapping logic is badly designed specially for relations)

We use collibra as one stop shop for metadata preview for general user. So user dont have to learn and look to multiple systems before finding data.

What do you like best about the product?
The Collibra platform is very user-friendly and intuitive for navigation with our users. Our business partners are super helpful and very engaged with us on our journey.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had some challenges with a need for a custom connection to produce our data lineage. I would have liked to receive more customer support during this process. We also experienced a change in the licensing which caused us to take a look at who is actually holding an author license verses a consumer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for a one-stop shop for our assets, metadata and data lineage. For the most part, we are able to provide all of this under one umbrella.

What do you like best about the product?
Collibra has been our chosen vendor to power our data consumer and supplier facing portion of the data marketplace, which has been very successful overall. We have been able to customize much of Collibra to meet our needs, and have developed a close partnership that we appreciate.
What do you dislike about the product?
We would like to see much more of the planned roadmap and more solid communication from the product teams, and more opportunity for early feedback that impacts releases and enhancements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data Discovery, Data Entitlement Management enabling data consumers and suppliers to discover and request access to data within the organization.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that so many administrative tasks can be done by us, rather than having to have Collibra perform them.
What do you dislike about the product?
New features and seem to fall short on meeting our needs when they are introduced.

It gives us an enterprise catalog for our data sets which allows users to request access after shopping for data.

The user interface can be much better along with the search function. It us too overwhelming for the user with two global search bars . Need to allow organization to customize it
