What do you like best about the product?
Their customer service is 2nd to none...prompt, friendly, patient and knowledgful! I learned the application (both how it was set-up for our organization and the administration of it) on my own after taking over a role in a chaotic time. During that time, the SimpleLegal team was there to help offer insight as to what they knew about the set-up and making sure I was comfortable performing the invoice processing. They sat with me and helped me get a rehaul done on the set-up to make it more efficient. I want to learn more about the matter management, and I know my "friends" at SimpleLegal will be there to show me the way!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say there are any dislikes per se. I know the application can do more; it is up to me to how to utilize it to its full potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to track where are dollars are being spent, and the simplificaiton of the invoice review/approval process. We now know in what areas of expertise we can explore hiring!

What do you like best about the product?
Not only is the software SIMPLE to use, they provide open user groups where we can learn from each other. Support is fast and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to be able to log in as a ghost user of ANY of my vendors to see what they see as an issue. Not so much to diagnose or assist but just for my own knowledge. This is the one thing that is lacking, in my opinion. Add a "view as user" button to each of my vendor pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are creating matter based timekeepers and we appreciate that as a company.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is mostly user-friendly and implementation and setup were pretty simple. Customer service has been helpful when I have reached out to them.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things that are hard to do in the system, like how to set up a rule.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to process invoices and keep track of legal spend.

I wish I could more easily setup a rule to channel invoices with a certain word to particular people for approval.

Many legal bills need multiple reviews and approvers

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate once trained, useful invoice landnig page that provides all the details needed to review an invoice and/or make comments. ability to dupliccate an existing matter to reduce the effort in creating a new matter; easy to navigate between vendors and invoices. Great customer support - quick to follow up and provide solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting functionality was a not the easiest to use or understand on how to create an ad hoc report. That being said, SimpleLegal did help us create a custom legal repor that at least provided us with our data but we still need to manually clean up the data afterwards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SimpleLegal was a great system for when we started using a billing and matter management system but since then have transitioned over to a new system that has more enhanced reporting capbilties.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple Legal is a very user friendly, intuitive platform for Legal e-billing and matter management.

I have not come across anything so far..

What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly, simple legal have a lot of powerful function which can meet almost every requirements in our daily work. And what's amazing is that it is also very user-friendly, everyone can learn how to use it in a minute. I think user-friendly is very important for a software, otherwise people will reluctant to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of a downside about simple legal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a company owns a lot of subsidiaries and intellectual properties, we have many different types of invoices to manage. Simple legal does a very good job to classify the invoices and send it to the right person for review. And it also makes it easier for us to record our spending and manage our vendors. With out simple legal, our invoice management work will be a lot harder.

What do you like best about the product?
SimpleLegal is super easy to use. It is both user friendly and very intuitive to use. The attorneys I support I also appreciate how easy it is use. In addition, SimpleLegal integrates into Oracle, which is what our Accounts Payable Team use to issue payment to our vendors. This integration helps make their job easier and thus ensure quick payment to our firms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am eager to be able to flag an invoice once we have reached the cap spend amount on a matter as well as being able to have reports automatically emailed to me on a regular basis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to have a hard time with getting attorneys to review & approve invoices in a timely manner with our previous e-billing platform. They found the previous one not user-friendly. Since we have implemented SimpleLegal, the attorneys are able to easily review their invoices and this has cut down on the amount of time that passes between receipt of the invocie and the review of the invoice. The attorneys appreciate how user-friendly SimpleLegal is.

Perfect starter matter management and e-billing system

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to customize data fields yet keep it simple. Also the e-billing functionality works well, reducing the amount of time needed to review/approve invoices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Becuase it's intended to be simple and basic, you can't customize with every bell and whistle. But that's OK - the system intentionally keeps you from overtcomplicating it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior completley manual matter management process and matter tracking, and manual billing.
