What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use for Administrators and Invoice Approvers; on-going enhancements
What do you dislike about the product?
Invoice testing rules limitations, lack of forward-facing visibility by Administrators; however, these features is progressing
Timekeeper rate management
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Electronic invoices, review and approval; planned API integration with accounting system in Q1 of 2024

What do you like best about the product?
Working with my rep Kristina Konarski and a customer service rep Jennifer G. These two are the main driver of my high scores. Wonderful people!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to run historical data for more than a year. I run many reports and it's frustrating not being able to run one complete report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Running invoice reports. Helpful to get snapshots of data.

What do you like best about the product?
I do like that you can see all invoices in one place. You can run budgets for all vendors or just certain ones. It's easy for vendors to upload invoices.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you can't speak to a person when having an issue. The site could be more user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Taking the leg room out of manually processing invoces.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is intuitive and customer-centric. The UI and UX are some of the best I've seen. SimpleLegal is able to provide easy configurations and customizations without losing its simplicity.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few limitations that are key for my role. For example, the platform is missing the ability to reassign or delegate Timekeeper rate approval requests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SimpleLegal has quite a few items on its roadmap, such as bulk uploads, customer-facing invoice validation rules , and task management. Bulk uploads will save us time and money because we can handle in-house. Customer-facing invoice validation rules will allow me to create and manage my own rules without reaching out to my CSM or support. Task management will help us track our matters as we implement our new MLM in SimpleLegal.

What do you like best about the product?
How simple it is but all while still providing us with all our matter/spend management needed. The user interface is simple enough that any legal member can easily learn the tool. Yet it will give your legal operation member basically everything you need to report, track, and identify whatever data points you want/need. SimpleLegal is also always asking for customer feedback on how they can improve the product and they release new features throughout the year. They really listen to their customers' needs while providing new features that we didn't know we wanted as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some fallbacks, just like with any tool or platform. The reporting feature though it has greatly improved from last year, doesn't allow you to easily manipulate the data in custom reports as some other platforms. Another small dislike we have is about submitting timekeeper rates from standard to discount rates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SimpleLegal is what we use to manage all our outside counsel spend for the whole company. In addition, it managers, stores, defines all our OC invoices review and approval process.

What do you like best about the product?
Relatively easy to navigate. Ability to automate some review items to flag.
What do you dislike about the product?
No ability to edit sent Budget Requests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better reporting has become available. This is giving us more options on how we can report on the data.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy user experience - training new users is a snap.
What do you dislike about the product?
Contact management needs updates. Timekeeper rate management is clunky. Security roles are OOTB and cannot be modified, nor can new user security roles be created.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enhanced reporting is pretty amazing and worth looking into. Accrual process is pretty well thought out. Budget modules - the OOTB module is simple but works well.

What do you like best about the product?
1. Superb user-interface experience and it's easy to navigate through different facets
2. Bulk-action edits make keeping data current so much easier for administrators
3. Ability to track and see the matter, invoice, and budget relationships in one spot is a huge spend management advantage
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Adhoc reporting needs to be improved, extremely flat
2. Need to build out some relationships within too, for instance, if the subsidiary is changed on overview of matter then it should prompt you to change subsidiary allocations under settings
3. Timekeeper management/reporting could be improved
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simple Legal allows Legal the ownership and flexibility to review invoices received from our law firms, approve, and then automate them into our existing AP system for payment. It is a seamless approach that works very well.

What do you like best about the product?
It is extremely user-friendly and flexible in different functionalities. Customer Service is good and they are focused on continuous improvement and development
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain functionalities (budget requests) are very basic/limited, but we are hopeful they will work on enhancements in those areas. There are certain areas where we would appreciate it being slightly more configurable (e.g. reporting by our fiscal years)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is our first matter management/eBilling solution and it has been massively helpful for reporting, organization of matters, etc. It's been a wonderful tool.

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive UI and ease to use, robust reporting tool and easy to implement. Also, my Success Manager, Grace Padgett, is always on top of things and she goes the extra mile to help the AES team to achieve their objectives and tackle any issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
There´s nothing I dislike at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SimpleLegal helps AES to solve cost-saving issues as well as budgeting.
