What do you like best about the product?
Easy of Administration. Set up is fast.

Task Delegation, Reporting and Security.

Enforcement of most bill guidelines.

What do you like best about the product?
The Spend Dashboard Reporting by SimpleLegal is my favorite feature. There's a wide range of important information all in one place, broken down by Practice Area, Top Matters, Vendor etc
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like a little more visibility into the Approvals setup and User Management. When people leave a company, it's a little tedious to undo the set up. I'd rather be able to do the edits myself rather than rely on Support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've reduced our Outside Counsel Spend and Spend per Matter. The analysis to drive that all came from SimpleLegal. The type of visibility into accruals and costs/Vendor is not available from our company bill-paying tool. SimpleLegal made that possible.

What do you like best about the product?
Having a dedicated implementation manager helped make implementing the system a painless and smooth process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only improvement would be for the admin to be able to upload matters from a sheet/excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of communicating with vendors on any billing discrepancies in one central system has been a huge time saver.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
SimpleLegal is a great option to explore when looking for an e-billing solution.

What do you like best about the product?
The aspect I like most about SL is that it is user friendly and easy to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any dislikes about SL, so I don't believe anything is not working properly. I do not have suggestions for improvement. I don't have anything I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SL helps us stay organized with file matters. The benefits are SL is keeping our matters organized and yes, I am more productive. I believe our business performance has increased as we are a lean legal team and need efficient software.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
SimpleLegal is a user friendly system whereby organizing legal matters is attainable and efficient.

What do you like best about the product?
The billing validation tool has found items I would have missed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to it adjust invoices globally based on a flag rather than adjusting invoices line by line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I now have visibility into cost averages, and it does a good job of flagging violations of billing rules.

What do you like best about the product?
The reporting function has been amazing. Very easy to find the data that I'm looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
In order to get assistance, you must send an email to the help desk, no relationship building by speaking to the same contact assigned to your account.

What do you like best about the product?
What we like best of SimpleLegal is its friendly interface and its simplicity when it comes to reviewing invoices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some admin tools need a rework. For instance, choosing items from a custom attribute list field.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are capturing our spending better, and we are solving adoption within the company.

What do you like best about the product?
The system is customizable to meet the needs of our department. My team now has a line of sight to the external matters they are on with outside vendors. We can easily enforce billing guidelines, track spending and accurately report data in real-time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The system allows us to be in control of our spending, enforce our billing guidelines, and provide efficiency to the invoice review process.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best of SimpleLegal is the user-friendly environment and ease of navigation throughout the database.
What do you dislike about the product?
The implementation of SimpleLegal and the onboarding of information to the database was a little difficult. Ensuring the correct information was required and uploaded took a while to get organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had to solve a few problems with the implementation of the database. Our Implementation Manager and Help Support eagerly solved all problems.
The database is running smoothly.

SimpleLegal: A Trusted Vendor to Partner with for Managing Matters and Legal Spend

What do you like best about the product?
SimpleLegal is a very effective platform for managing a large number of legal entities with complex cost center codes for a global enterprise such as ours who partner with international vendors and outside counsel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Challenges occur when you can only view ten drop-down options at a time to select from for a large number of company codes and allocations. I would like to see programming improvements to allow more than one rule to run when auto-rejecting invoices, which leads to frustration and confusion on behalf of our vendors before a human has the opportunity to review an invoice for additional rejection criteria.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficient matter budget management, the flexibility to add multiple offices/divisions/legal entities, ease of reviewing invoices promptly, effective timekeeper rate management, efficient vendor management, dependable approval workflow that can easily be altered either temporarily or permanently, the ability to link related matters to a parent matter, the ease of adding CounselGO user interface, and the ability to grant, restrict, or restore administrative user credentials.

This product provides a dependable solution for managing legal matters, assigning approvers to legal invoices, and managing case budgets.
