My experiences with MoEngage
What do you like best about the product?
The customization available and control over the minute details which is usually templated. The level of custom use-cases we are able to achieve using this tool is vast and at the same time very useful in making the communications very contextual and personalized.
The Customer Success team is very active in making sure we achieve our use-case. They will help you along the way in making sure that we are on the right path. At the same time, the quarterly reviews with them give an idea and help you understand what works and what does not.

What do you dislike about the product?
The campaign setup is a bit lengthier. It takes quite some time to set it up. Another thing is that features are not universal. For example, Sherpa is not available across all channels. This causes issues while setting up similar campaigns across all channels.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are currently trying to create the Re-Marketing funnel optimization using the automations by making sure all the channels are inter-linked. This has helped in optimizing costs across channels for our re-marketing costs but at the same time, we have been able to make sure a user is not bombarded with Ads or communications which helps in making sure the user journey is very seamless.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Amazing support team. Tools are always evolving and the best part with MoEngage is that they are continuously in touch with you to make sure that they build whatever is required.

Customer Support, sales team having complete knowledge of the product. Class leading product features that no other vendor is able to

There is some scope of improvement that can make the process of sending notifications a little more faster.

Able to increase user engagement on the app. Convert inactive user back to active user.

There are some areas where we can make some improvements to the product to speed up the process of notification sending.

The ease of achieving segmentation and the ability to pass custom fields to the moengage database externally, as well as extracting data using bigquery directly make it really versatile and key to have all the data at your disposal in a matter of few minutes. Cheers!

The moengage database could be more readable (field names/table names)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Major problems we have solved all thanks to moengage include geofencing which is key to our business (Zoomcar from airport)
Others include complex segmentation by integrating calculated fields with Moengage and scheduling of reoccurring campaigns.

Ease of use and access. It provides a greater scope of targeting and understanding of your user's.

As new to this platform, hardly I could make out any.
