Smartsheet is a Game-Changer for Project Management and Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is incredibly flexible and user-friendly. I love how easy it is to manage projects, tasks, and timelines all in one place. The ability to create Gantt charts, dashboards, and automated workflows has significantly improved how our team operates. Collaboration is seamless, and I appreciate the version control and activity tracking features that keep everything transparent and accountable.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform is powerful, there is a bit of a learning curve for new users—especially for those unfamiliar with spreadsheet-style project tools. Also, the mobile app feels slightly limited compared to the desktop version, which can be a challenge when working on the go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Smartsheet, project updates and team communication were scattered across emails and spreadsheets. Now, everything is centralized, and we’ve saved a lot of time by automating repetitive tasks. Project visibility has drastically improved, allowing stakeholders to stay updated in real-time. It’s helped us deliver projects on time and with fewer errors.

What do you like best about the product?
1. Smartsheet is very flexible in collaborating with team and automating the tasks
2. It provides most of Excel like features but with an added advantage of notification to users to remind them on their activities
3. Smartsheet database can be integrated with data analytics software like PowerBi which is very helpful in my organization for dashboard creation and data visualizations.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Smartsheet need to add certain features like cell lock.
2. For forms, field display should be done on basis on values selected from one field, e.g. for value zone 1 from field 1, field 2 and field 3 should be displayed, and for value zone 2 from field 1, field 3 and 4 should be displayed

Smartsheet has allowed my team to increase efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
What stands out to me most is that it takes the excel based spreadsheet idea, and builds features into it that make it very intuitive and user friendly. We have found it to be flexible and have been able to adapt Smartsheet to suit our specific business very well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the Smartsheet community is often suggesting features that would improve the experience for themselves and others. I personally would like to see Smartsheet take more of these suggestions on board and apply them in a timely manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet automations have eliminated many manual tasks for us, and helped streamline our processes a lot. It allows us to track our projects, collaborate and analyse/report based on the date we put in.
A game changer for our sales & design workflow
What do you like best about the product?
We love the customisability to tailor Smartsheets to our needs and maintain it ourselves.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only challenge of using Smartsheets for our business is integrating it our ERP system - this is more a reflection of the ERP system than Smartsheets though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets has revolutionised our project management by providing repeatable and reportable framework to manage our projects using Control Centre. Our Sales and Design teams have become streamlined and more efficient as a result.
Used for school, software worked well with a few hiccups here and there.
What do you like best about the product?
It was fairly simple to learn and understand out it worked and how to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
When using the app on my cell phone it often would not display correctly and when trying to work with the schools IT team to be able to see all of the things I needed to it was not possible to get it to happen. Whether it was due to the software itself or the IT department I'm not 100% sure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing patient contacts as well as tracking our clinical contacts and lab days.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has many functions and features to help with project management. I love that Smartsheet offers and previews templates so that you do not have to take too much time to build your workspace. Within the workspace, you're able to communicate with others by tagging them using the organization's email system. We use Smartsheet every day to keep track of hundreds of projects including VLOOKUP to share data between different groups/users. We also use Smartsheet as templates to build out plans within the EMR system. I've barely scratched the surface of Smartsheet capability because there is so much to learn. Smartsheet also offers information sessions on how to navigate the different capabilities and workspaces it offers.
What do you dislike about the product?
We mainly use Smartsheet to communicate with multiple teams on a project. They have an "add comment" that is a chat-like feature but the comments are not overt. You have to click into the comment to read it and it can be confusing if there are multiple comments/chats occuring on one smartsheet. It would be more helpful if it had a comment feature like Microsoft Word where it is plainly visible for everyone to see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me keep track on the status of my projects. I have several different sheets and use a couple of different workspaces. I like that I can keep track of my projects and communicate or export my information to another's smartsheet.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity of navigating through smartsheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how updating information can move a lot of things around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is aiding in tracking essential work documents, managing timesheet hours, and keeping all important information in a neat and orderly manner.
Smartsheet is quite smart in its ability to keep track of everything your job requires.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how you can set up certain workflows with your Smartsheet so that when you make certain selections, it will trigger the workflow and do things such as send emails to certain parties, initiate the creation of certain documents, etc. I also really like how easy it is to learn the ins and outs of the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I can think of that I dislike about Smartsheet is the price of each license.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the problem of keeping things in order and maintained in an organized manner, which benefits the team I work for considering the number of projects we handle.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform makes it easy to build detailed project timelines, track pre-construction and construction phases, and manage consultants and deliverables in one place. The Gantt view is especially useful for visualizing complex schedules and aligning multiple stakeholders across different stages of a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
If there’s one area for improvement, it would be more built-in reporting and visualization tools without needing add-ons

Collaboration is seamless—our team can comment directly on tasks, upload supporting documents, and stay aligned without needing endless email chains.
Visually fantastic, but simple to use
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets as a request intake system is very simple, anyone can build out a system, even at the most basic level. Everything from initial setup to flows and automation is super simple, does not require advanced knowledge, just a basic understanding how things connect.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really like the publish feature within a sheet, but I wish that feature was also within the Dynamic View. When it comes to conditional formatting and rules its limited. More widgets need to be added to the Dashboard feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage our Global CRM platform, Smartsheets allow for my users globally to submit requests from across the globe and allows them to track the progress of their requests.
