Smartsheet is amazing
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to create and automate worksheets, I use this every day countless times a day
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was more ability to customize forms and fields.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly automation and tasks
I use it for work. It has been great for organizing data and creating dashboards.
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the dashboard creation. Getting the data to cooperate with charts can be tricky, but when it works, SmartSheet creates some beautiful dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Why Smartsheet does not have an autosave feature as an online software baffles me. It seems like a very outdated oversight in today's software world.

Managing projects, data tracking.
A very versatile tool, but with many business model flaws
What do you like best about the product?
It is the only tool that could replace excel, Project Management and Lists in one platform. It is easy to create notifications and workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Recent changes to the business/subscription model create a huge uncertainty and removed the best advantage that Smartsheet had: The free users. We cannot plan for the future if we are afraid that in the next renewal we will have to face more changes to the billing structure. For example, now even the Dynamic views will be charged.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is our key tool for Project Management within the organization and we are using its notifications flexibility to keep the assignees organized. It is like an assistant for them.

Implementation & Configuration - The setup process was well-supported by the Smartsheet team, with consultants like Donika Spasova and Oliver Harvey providing timely assistance during configuration meetings such as the Setting up of Resource Management Tool. Their guidance helped tailor the tool to our specific reporting needs.
Functionality & Impact - Timesheet approvals have been seamless, with consistent confirmations from the system for weekly submissions

What do you dislike about the product?
Technical Issues and Bugs - One of the most persistent complaints is the timer bug that causes negative time values when users stop the timer. This issue was escalated to Smartsheet Support and required detailed browser diagnostics and HAR file analysis to troubleshoot 1 2.

Manual Timesheet Tracking - Previously, performance was tracked manually via timesheets. Smartsheet automates this process, reducing administrative overhead and improving accuracy. Timesheet submissions and approvals are now streamlined

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet allows you to quickly create tools, reports, tracking, forms... It is simple to implement and share.
What do you dislike about the product?
What is most annoying is the access time to the different elements. Especially at the first connection. And this regardless of the connection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows to formalize flows that were once buried in our emails.
Basically, I use Smartsheet for managing the opening, suspension, and reopening of routes projects.

It is a bit limited in Excel functionalities.

It is solving how we are keeping track projects and different deadlines and who is responsible
Well-designed tool, just short on replacing other PM tools
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive and easy to learn the basics. Has the ability to develop dashboards and Agile boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Does not seem to recognize indexing which makes it difficult to rearrange tasks and avoid manual reentering new indexed reference numbers. Scheduling does not seem to integrate with any common calendars so any resources responsible for a task must have access to receive notifications and calendar assignments. Unable to develop a resource list that integrates with the scheduling requiring any burndown charting must be done manually on other types of software such as Microsoft Excel.

Easy to develop Agile and Waterfall boards for project scheduling and status updates.

I like that our team can collaborate in Smartsheets from different locations.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does take a little while to load with graphs sometimes. That could be improved.

Smartsheet is allowing real time collaboration between teams in different locations.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to assign multiple users with all different roles and accessibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could use all the formulas that Excel has. Some of the things I want to do with cells are limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's made internal transfers more centralized within the company and everything can be accessed in the same place.
