Using SmartSheet for project management
What do you like best about the product?
All in one place and easy to share sheets with coworkers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure I have discovered anything I dislike at this point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet gives me one place to work, and I can connect the sheets on projects. Easy to share with coworkers.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to customize different views and add in sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
The formatting is always off when using copy/paste or when adding new text. Just tedious to have to do re-do the formatting every single time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An easy way to collaborate with our customers on ongoing projects. Easy to keep track of progress and have a shared space to view these projects.

The workflow it allows tracking and managing off.

The product itself is very good but engagement from Guideline promoting the enhancements or functionality is limited or general check in's.

Transparency, delivering of projects on time, collaboration, visualizing data (Reporting)

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Smartsheet's efficiency, extensive integrations, and its strong collaborative features that ensure everyone is always working with the most current information. I like that you can add non working days, holidays, automations. We can have viewers without getting worried that others will make changes that aren't needed. I use this daily and think its a great and useful product.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Smartsheet would test and refine more often. I haven't seen a many great features released lately. For instance, a way to automate predecessors would save so much time!

Timeline management! We track tasks and dates super closely. Smartsheet enables quick edits and an easy way for others to reference. Reporting is great for customer viewing too.

Powerful Project Management with Room for Sharing Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Smartsheet's visual format, which makes it easier to visualize project timelines. The Gantt view is particularly useful for figuring out launch timings amidst multiple moving parts. I also find the dependency feature invaluable for planning, as it provides visibility across departments and allows for quick updates during team calls, thus enhancing efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?

I had to rely on YouTube videos and ChatGPT to assist me, as I wasn't aware of everything Smartsheet could offer me or how to go about formatting and using all the options within the tool.","I face a challenge with the lack of access for all team members to Smartsheet. Since not everyone has a membership, I have to download the Smartsheet data to Google Sheets and then share it, which adds an extra step to our workflow.","I would prefer a feature allowing non-members to view and comment on a live Smartsheet without having editing abilities. The current process of editing in Smartsheet, downloading to Google Sheets, and then making further edits is cumbersome."}

I find Smartsheet clarifies project timelines and dependencies, enhancing collaboration and efficiency in managing over 50 people, despite limited team access.

What do you like best about the product?
The customizable options are great. You can create reports, forms, or dashboards based on the specific needs of a company.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes time to learn. It took me six years to fully understand how to make the most of Smartsheet. The formulas can be tricky, and I do wish it had some of the same formatting capabilities as Excel, like merging cells.

I'm able to look at all of the ongoing projects at once and build reports for different parts of the company i.e. project management, finance, strategy, etc.

Easy to manage projects and review timelines, good integration with Resource Management to check resources across the organization

The UI tends to be a bit laggy at times, especially while scrolling to future months

I do not like the file tree set up. With sheets and workspaces, I tend to misplace documents
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It serves as a great database that can be shared among our team and hold everyone accountable. I maintain a dozen spreadsheets on smartsheet that consolidate unique project types that previous to smartsheet would fall through the cracks.
