Good for basic tracking
What do you like best about the product?
I like how neat and no- fuss smart sheet is. Easy to upload documents. Easy to switch between files.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how it doesn't have all the functionalities other tracking software have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving our issue of needing an organized way to share data between companies.

Simple and Flexible ways to manage data, kind of like using Excel. Quick to set up and uses it daily for production tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
Filter options, Limited rows and no shortcut for Delete option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User friendly from the start and Easy to share, using it for the production tracking and preparing fiscal & financial calendars.

Great tool for managing any sort of projects
What do you like best about the product?
Its great at creating bespoke solutions quickly and easy to implement. We all use it daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard options are very limited. Its not possible to slice the data. The Smartsheet CX support is quite poor. It would be great if Data Shuttle could directly connect to more tools.

it is easier to collaborate with remote teams and onsite teams with multi-functional roles.

We need to download attached files with supporting documents like pdf and images for drawings and layouts every time .

We can collaborate on a single with multiple departments with worrying about loosing track of work progress or the version of the file
Adaptable Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is highly adaptable across different types of projects. I use it daily to manage workflows, and I especially appreciate how fast it is to create forms for collecting data, great for streamlining input from stakeholders. It’s also easy to copy existing projects as templates, which saves a lot of setup time. Importing and exporting to Excel is quick, and the API works well for integrations. Customer support has always been responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up dashboards for the first time can be time consuming. Reports that are too long sometimes get text cut off when exported to PDF. Also, when using number widgets, I often have to open the same file multiple times to select specific data points, which slows down the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It centralizes project tracking and data collection.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets is a wonderful data collection and collaboration tool that is scalable for small teams or large organizations. The automation abilities are my favorite feature about the platform
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve can be a challenge for those who are more familiar with Excel or other similar looking platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has allowed us to automate processes that require input from many people that my team is in charge of driving. Being able to add in reminders for action eliminates the manual need for my team to follow up for participation on tasks.
We have also been able to improve some processes that include tasks which are different but related and have them all integrated in some way shape or form thoroughbred different Smartsheets. For example: we have digitized an interview guide into a form. Once that is filled out, it transfers relevant data to another Smartsheet form to build a new hire roster. That roster has automations built in to notify respective team members of actions they need to take, and also reminders to ensure timely completion.
We have also been able to improve some processes that include tasks which are different but related and have them all integrated in some way shape or form thoroughbred different Smartsheets. What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a powerful and user-friendly tool that enables you to accomplish a wide range of tasks. I use it daily and continually discover new features and capabilities that enhance my productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only drawback I've found is that automated emails are sent from the sheet owner, rather than the person who made the most recent change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows me to centralize information, automate repetitive tasks, and stay focused by clearly showing what needs to be done and helping me meet deadlines. Real-time collaboration and update tracking across teams have greatly improved my productivity and minimized errors. The customizable dashboards and reports make it easy to monitor progress and share updates efficiently. Our clients also appreciate the dashboards—we’re able to tailor them to each client’s needs, which enhances transparency and strengthens our relationships.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it can integrate with Azure DevOP’s. I can manage projects and make changes in the main Smartsheet file and it automatically syncs to my project in our other project tools and vice versa. If I make changes in Azure DevOp’s it syncs back to Smartsheet as well. It is like a better version of Microsoft project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the syncs have issues. I also do wish they would adopt more Microsoft friendly functionality (more similar shortcuts to excel).

It held us keep track of our projects at a high level and is helpful for our clients to track progress.
