Smartsheet is the secret sauce of our marketing department and keeps us focused and on track!
What do you like best about the product?
Task tracking and optimizing workflows. An intuitive user interface and excellent customer service. We use it on the daily to track our tasks and ensure we remain on schedule.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've had a hard time implementing Smartsheet for our whole team. Many staff feel it difficult to integrate into their existing workflows and are resistant to changing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the fast-paced world of AEC marketing Smartsheet is an ally that can keep me on task and focused on what needs to be done day to day. I can rely on it for over arching schedules and tracking and ensuring that my team remains on schedule and on task. It is a powerful tool that helps us be more productive and keep our workflows dialed.

The different formats you can choose from for each column and being able to assign tasks to different users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to adjust the format for the first column.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking projects that require several different employees to follow up on different tasks.
End-User Experience for Administration
What do you like best about the product?
The ease to build and connect dashboards with reports is the biggest pro. It is intuitive, which takes less time, which in turn increases efficiency. Additionally, the attachment section proves useful from a project management perspective. It is nice to have smartsheets as a "connection point" between other databases, which centralizes project management.
I like that integrations are plug-ins, since that keeps the format of the application un-cluttered.
I like that i can frequently share my work with others (regardless if they're a Mac or Windows user).

What do you dislike about the product?
Minimizing/Magnifying the screen is a bit difficult on the desktop version. Sometimes there are issues with saving my work (it'll freeze for a couple beats before randomly saving or not). There isn't an easily accessible "Need Help" section - it always throws me to another site which isn't super effective, especially when I'm on a tight deadline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a great temporary or interim reporting tool. This is helpful because it is difficult to find a platform that is 1) compatible with all computers; 2) is effective and intuitive when under a strict deadline; and 3) be connected to existing applications (ex: salesforce, outlook, box).
An efficient project management tool, wonderful experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like how organized it is. I can customize reports, save important projects to my favorites for quick access, and can easily navigate throughout the tool.

Can be confusing once you first learn it.

Solves the problem of knowing where tasks stand.

More and better tools are added to be able to apply filters and add colors to the cells to differentiate each one.
Helpful tool for managing various projects
What do you like best about the product?
The automations features are what drew me to using Smartsheets. In my role, I work on various projects with competing and overlapping deadlines. Being able to automate some of the routine parts of my work has been a game-changer. I use Smartsheets almost daily now.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is so much to learn on Smartsheets and not everything is intuitive. I am lucky to have access to people in my organization who can train me. I feel like I am not yet utilizing the full potential of Smartsheets. I am hopeful that with time, I will get a deeper grasp of all Smartsheets can do.

I use Smartsheets to help keep my tasks organized for my different projects. I use it to automate some routine parts of my work and I also use it to collect and organize data.

Best tool for organizing anything and everything!
What do you like best about the product?
It is extremely powerful and broad it ins capabilities. So many templates, tools, and formats for ANY type of project.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve in the beginning (as with all powerful tools).

Collecting feedback from large teams via forms as well as using Gantt timelines for portfolio planning. It has all the capabilities and ease of integration.

Smartsheet is a highly effective tool for project management, offering capabilities that go beyond those available in standard Microsoft applications such as Project and Planner. One of its most valuable features is the ability to fully customize fields to meet the unique needs of each project, providing greater flexibility and control.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because our organization primarily utilizes Microsoft products, it can sometimes be less practical to maintain information within Smartsheet due to the additional licensing costs compared to the Microsoft applications already included in our suite. Additionally, Smartsheet does not currently offer direct integration with Microsoft Planner, which limits its ability to align seamlessly with our existing planning tools and workflows.

Smartsheet is effectively used to maintain dashboards and reports that can be shared seamlessly with external organizations and internal departments, promoting transparency and collaboration. It is particularly valuable for project management and for maintaining an ongoing log of recurring tasks, ensuring consistency and accountability across projects.
