Accessible Yet Initially Unintuitive
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Smartsheet makes organization easier by keeping everything in one place, so it's a lot simpler to know where things are up to. The ease of accessibility to navigate the system is quite easy to get to know. Additionally, the transition to Smartsheet was smooth since one of the directors had prior experience with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you first go onto Smartsheet, it isn't as user-friendly since you have to watch the how-to videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps keep everything organized in one place, making it easier to track project progress.
Everyday workflow
What do you like best about the product?
It keeps everyone on my team organized. We can see what each other are working on. I like that I can set alarms when needed for tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Please take a look at your copy and paste functions. I use a Lenovo laptop and can not copy and paste using a mouse, only using a keyboard shortcut.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps each month organized so that we can go back and look at each others work. It was especially helpful when my company onboarded me by separating task by employees and calendars.
Great for cross-functional collaboration, cumbersome otherwise
What do you like best about the product?
Great for understanding how timelines for multiple teams may intersect. So it is great for high level views of projects, or cross-functional status reports. Very customizable. The customer support, dedicated business partner, and reocurring webinars/training is really great compared to other companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not the most intuitive or aesthetically pleasing tool. Not a good place to manage small projects in, a different tool might be better for that. The level of customization is great, but it takes time. I didn't use it to it's full potential.

Great for projects that involve multiple teams across an organization. Allows us all to keep track of high level deliverables in the same place.

Since implementing Smartsheet, we’ve seen measurable improvements in task completion rates and lead conversions, which has directly contributed to our revenue growth. Its integrations with other platforms and user-friendly design have made adoption smooth for our entire team. Overall, Smartsheet has elevated our efficiency and accountability, making it a vital part of our operations and growth strategy.

I do not like that you can't go back to previous versions as in excel...

Good Summary-Level Planning and Reporting Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love how SmartSheet summarizes items, is easy to use and pick up if you're using it for the first time. I use it all the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't colorize the cards. They are creating the Board View but it is missing features that are strengths of the Card View. It's like they are pushing people to use the Board View but it isn't fully functional yet. I wish that you could do better graphs and dashboards as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I currently use it for planning purposes internally. There are projects that are managed using this plan across several teams.
LOVE Smartsheet and its capabilities! I won't use any other platform but this one
What do you like best about the product?
User friendly and enjoy using the app daily for project management needs. I use this daily and love that there are so many use cases and ways to improve upon Smartsheet skills. I also appreciate that there is Customer Support who are very responsive and take time to understand the issue at hand.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish text breaks and formatting were supported well with bullet points when submitting a Smartsheet form. Copying and pasting becomes frustrating when I have to spend my time reformatting what's already been submitted. The attachment part is also difficult and needs improvement with searching and being able to find it and wish there was a preview options and images showed up easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet keeps us on track every day and creates visibility/transparency among stakeholders and project leaders. It is extremely important for efficiency and ensuring that we are reaching out goals with detailed information.

I like how user friendly it is and how much capacity the system has.

I wish the interface looked nicer. The sheet that I have published is ugly.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the automated reminders that are sent out to anyone in the contact list. They were very easy to set-up and customize. This helps to keep everyone accountable and reduces the follow-up I have to perform.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is no longer possible for an unlicensed user to update the status or comments within a sheet. This did reduce some of the value of the system for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has clarified the tasks assigned to individuals and their due dates. It hold the team accountable and helps everyone see how their portion of a project impacts other workstreams. Have one source of truth that everyone is able to reference has reduced confusion and duplication of work.

Sometimes it takes a bit long to load, and some non-tech savvy employees seems to be confused about the workings of the system

Smartsheet has been a solid tool for keeping our bid schedule organized and up to date. It's easy to use, visually clean, and makes collaboration across the estimating team smooth. The ability to update schedules live and track deadlines helps keep everyone on the same page. We rely on it daily, and it's been completely dependable.

Honestly, I haven't found any flaws. It does exactly what we need it to do for managing our bid schedule without unnecessary complexity or issues.

With multiple jobs moving through different stages and frequent updates from clients, we needed a reliable way to track deadlines, assignments, and changes in real time.
