I think Smartsheet is good.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to see resource availability company wide.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish my updates were reflected immediately instead of waiting until the following Monday
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to see schedules and availability across our line of business
One among the best, if not the best Programming and Project Management Software
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to control the amount of data shared while not having to create a lot of sheets and/or workspacess. It is very straight forward to use and we were able to integrate it well with our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not an option to merge cells, so the sheet is not modular per say, with very specific type of columns that can be used and a limited library of functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to create a blueprint that can be used to create certain sets of sheets automatically is just fabulous!
Easy to use, many possibilities
What do you like best about the product?
I like the user interface because it is pretty understandable for general tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really dislike anything, I just don't use a lot of what it has to offer and therefore you could argue it's expensive for what I use it for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Calculating time frames of each individual line item, as well as scheduling out every task of a project.

Problem: Disconnected Communication Across Teams

Smartsheet Was the Perfect Tool for Our Team — Until Pricing Changes Made It Unreachable
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has been an incredible tool for our team. We’ve used it to keep track of our patients, share updates, and store all our essential information in one central hub. I love how user-friendly and collaborative it is, everyone can quickly see what’s going on, make updates, and stay informed without the back-and-forth emails. It’s been a lifesaver for organization, visibility, and teamwork.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, Smartsheet recently announced changes to their editing and licensing structure, and it’s made it unaffordable for us to continue using it. As much as we love the platform, the new pricing model puts it way out of reach for our organization. It’s really disappointing, because we finally had a tool that worked perfectly for us, and now we’re forced to look for alternatives that likely won’t be as seamless or effective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Smartsheet, it was hard to keep everyone aligned — updates were scattered across emails, documents, and different systems. Now, we have a central place where we can track which patients we're working with, who’s responsible for what, and any critical notes or updates, all in real time.
It’s helped reduce confusion, improved accountability, and made our workflows much more efficient. Everyone can access the same up-to-date information, which is especially important in our work where accuracy and timing matter. It’s been a huge benefit for team collaboration and staying organized.

I love Smartsheets organization and scheduling capabilities as well as the wide bandwidth to create different kinds of tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really wish Smartsheet had tabs so it was easier to pull and organize data all in one larger sheet instead of just having Workspaces
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s helping me give me clear access to my team members and offering information in a “one stop shop” experience

Lots of Pros with Smartsheet!
What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, I like the layout of Smartsheet, it's very aesthetically please to me! Our team uses it daily and it's very easy to use as well. We use it in a number of different ways so the customization options that are available always come in handy.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I do dislike is that there's no immediate autosave feature for sheet updates. My peers and I have to manually save to see changes occur which sometimes does create a little bit of a disconnect if we forget to save in real time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows my team and I to manage our tasks passed along from different departments. Additionally, it allows us to track movements and updates across the board!

Creating a lead intake workflow involves several steps to ensure that potential leads are captured, processed, and followed up efficiently. Here is a general outline of how to create a lead intake workflow:
1. **Identify Lead Sources**: Determine where your leads are coming from, such as online forms, phone calls, emails, social media, or events.
2. **Design Lead Capture Forms**: Create forms that capture essential information from leads, such as name, contact details, and specific interests or needs.
3. **Set Up a Lead Management System**: Use a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system to organize and track leads. Ensure it integrates with your lead capture forms.
4. **Define Lead Qualification Criteria**: Establish criteria to qualify leads based on factors like budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT).
5. **Automate Lead Assignment**: Set up rules to automatically assign leads to the appropriate sales representatives based on criteria such as location, product interest, or lead score.
6. **Develop a Follow-Up Process**: Create a standardized process for following up with leads, including timelines and communication methods (e.g., email, phone calls).
7. **Train Your Team**: Ensure your sales and marketing teams are trained on the lead intake process and understand their roles.
8. **Monitor and Optimize**: Regularly review the workflow to identify bottlenecks or areas for improvement. Use analytics to track the effectiveness of your lead intake process.
By following these steps, you can create an efficient lead intake workflow that helps convert potential leads into customers.

Reliable software that has made tracking expenses easy
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the parent-child functions. I use this feature in the majority of my sheets to track expenses for various grants. I can then easily generate additional sheets with ease to pull data (e.g., amount of money spent per month in a specific budget category on a specific grant).
What do you dislike about the product?
My organization has the Team Plan (I believe this plan has been discontinued), so there are a number of features that I cannot access. This means that I do not utilize the report feature and I need to manually copy information between sheets, which increases the likelihood of error. I met with a contact at Smartsheet (who was very helpful and knowledgeable), and he explained that we would need to upgrade our plan. I was not able to convince my organization to upgrade our plan, so it feels like I am not able to fully utilize the software in the ways I want to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps me maintain a record of the purchases that my lab members need to complete their work. This has allowed me to keep track of each grant's budget and make projections. This has also allowed me to better understand the frequency that certain supplies are needed.
