User-Friendly Collaboration for Sharing Data and Editing Documents
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to share data, and concurrently edit documents. The UI is very user friendly, and makes integrating order forms and log data a smooth process.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are logged out and attempt to use links stored in a Chrome bookmarks toolbar; logging in will always bring you to a home screen, not necessarily the link location you were attempting to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It uses native forms to log requests in a spreadsheet format that allows curated access. Some users may view with others may edit & view. This protects the accuracy of the record, and allows for transparency across departments.

Powerful organization tools to keep projects running smoothly
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet allows me to create workspaces that include multiple documents related to a project. There are a myriad of ways to record the data that I need, whether that's a note, date checkbox, etc. Having it all in one place, and is fully customizable. The use of dashboards helps to keep tabs on complicated projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet does take a little bit of time to learn, because it is so powerful. That's not really a bad thing, but in order to use it to it's full potential, it will require an investment in time to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping our projects organized and on track is the most important problem solved by Smartsheet.
Easy-to-Use Excel-Like Tool with Strong Project Tracking and Time-Saving Automation
What do you like best about the product?
easy to use like excel, strong project tracking with their gants and timelines, its really useful when working with different teams and collaborators, the automation saves time
What do you dislike about the product?
it might become a little hard when adding formulas or automation, in certain ocassions might not be as flexible as Excel, the price might be higher in tier plans, and the performance with large sheet or complex project might become slow
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it allow us to have everything in one place, to track tasks and timelines. we can assign tasks, set deadlines and see progress, to have clear ownership and accountabilitiy, it saves time on follow ups, and helps us stay on schedule.

The ability for multiple users across several locations to stay updated and manage information in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this time, there’s nothing about it that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With multiple people involved across different projects, it helps everyone stay current and have up-to-date information to base the next steps on.
Versatile Tool for Easy Data Management
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to get information from one place to another in Smartsheet, especially using formulas. I also love how straightforward and simple it is to create forms that our team in the field can use, and then how easy it is to manipulate that information into something our admin team can use to make decisions using LEAN principles or find results. I really appreciate how simple it was to link Smartsheet with other tools like Opsgenie and a Weather app through Zapier. I regularly recommend Smartsheet because I feel like it can solve anything! I also love how robust the Community is for offering and receiving help, it is an incredible resource!
What do you dislike about the product?
I really wish the API access was more robust, especially for forms and reports, and I wish the dashboards charts had a little more power and customizable features. I would love to be able to copy a form, change the default value in a single field, then save the result as a new form - and then get URL! A way to get the URL for a new form via API would be amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheet for digitizing paper records, making results transparent, and streamlining team tracking. It helps consolidate team resources effectively.
Streamlined Reporting with Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
It has a wide range of applications and is able to create bespoke solutions that are easy to use. The cell history function and the ability to amend permissions (admin, editor, viewer, etc) make governance and auditing easy. The annual cost of member seats is reasonable and making viewers free has meant that it is a system that the whole business can use. Reporting can be as simple or sophisticated as required but the control centre tool allows you to aggregate data for many workspaces into one report. Having a database has reduced duplication in work and the whole system has made our processes more streamlined and efficient. The online support and training videos were crucial to get our system going. Cheetah Transformation were a pivotal third party company that helped us develop our solution and introduce best practice. In the future, we are looking at how Smartsheet can integrate with our other systems. Performance is generally good with the occasional delay in pulling data from sheets to dashboards, but this resolves in time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a relatively new software for the business so we haven't had the chance to find anything we dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has reduced duplication of work, streamlining processes and making them more efficient.

Having to log in every single day. it does not save the log in information

I manage multiple projects and Smartsheet allows me to keep track of them individually
Great for Real-Time Spreadsheet Collaboration, but Auto-Save Would Help
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to share spreadsheets with coworkers and have multiple people able to access the same information at the same time
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish changes to sheets would save automatically without having to click the save icon

It helps me keep all of the different events I'm working on organized which helps keep my brain clear
