Intuitive and User-Friendly Platform That Simplifies Planning
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, not full of colours and big boxes like other products, you can see your plan on one page. It's intuitive easy for people to understand after just 5 minutes of coaching. Collaborative working works well in the most part with live updates when two people are on the same sheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the new licencing model, it has created another level of administration and fear of breaching member accounts. What was almost a USP over other products that everyone didn't need to be licenced and a clear direction of where Smartsheet is heading. The whole new licencing model is also not very straight forward.
I think some big improvements are needed on backups, it is not easy to restore and would prefer a more snapshot of time and easier to undo changes that people have made. Importing from excel could be better executed with field pickers for things like dates and multiple worksheet excel documents.
Adding a new user is clunky and doesn't always work, have had to add people twice as the first time didn't work then the endless refreshing of pages to get the change/addition to happen.
Dashboards need to be more powerful and are a bit basic.

I run PMO through it and all project delivery, workpackages etc.... it brings project teams together.
Effortless Project Management with Maximum Impact
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Smartsheet for project management because it keeps projects on track by effectively sharing task details, status updates, and highlighting any risks or dependencies. The ability to automatically notify people of tasks and updates is something I truly appreciate. I find it remarkably easy to use, and it also allows me to share project information seamlessly with clients, enhancing their understanding and collaboration. I particularly value the status and color coding feature, which helps in organizing tasks with timing dependencies already calculated, making project management straightforward. The initial setup was super easy, which made the transition to using Smartsheet wholly positive. I wholeheartedly recommend it to others and often find myself suggesting it to friends and colleagues due to how effective and user-friendly it is.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Smartsheet to keep projects on track by sharing tasks, details, status, risks, and dependencies. It automatically notifies people of tasks and updates, making it easy to use and share with clients.
Great for Task Prioritization, but have a lot areas of improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I used it everyday for prioritizing my tasks and create my requests.
It allowed me to keep a live conversation with my collaborators.
Currently, I use it to share database chart info as translations, multiple information lists, then based on that create the SQL tables that I need.

What do you dislike about the product?
When i copied a row it didn't drag the files that were in the original, so i had to attached again.
I wasn't able to include images on my comments, I was only able to attach PDF files.
I was not able to link it to outlook, and create my requests from there.
I did not receive notification unless my collaborator tags me.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a place where I can see all my tasks and request from my different brands, so we could prioritize work.
Currently, we are able to share multiple Database information, and keep a track of the different versions.
Create vacation forms and keep a log/history of all requests.

A Simple and Flexible Tool for Project Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy to use and very intuitive, especially for teams familiar with spreadsheets. It makes it simple to organize tasks, track progress, and collaborate in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet becomes limited for complex workflows, especially when teams need deeper automation or structured task tracking.

Smartsheet helps centralize information and keeps all tasks organized in one place, which improves team coordination.
Great for Project Data Storage, But Ticket Management Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The feature I like the most is that we're able to create development sheets that allows us to store and access to projects information in one space.
What do you dislike about the product?
Based on my experience, it's best for storing project data rather than manage it. Creating and assigning tickets it's a manual process that can easily lead to errors and consumes valuable resources that could be directed towards the project development instead of the initial stage. It's also not very integrated with other systems or tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Actually it has been phased because of the lack of automation it can offer when compared with other business management tools. But, in the time it was used, it allowed to manually create and assign tickets of a project, and also creating a detailed per stage calendar for the developments.

I dislike that when moving rows over to other sheets in Smartsheet, it includes unnecessary columns that are not needed on the other sheet.

Overall, Smartsheet provides visibility for all team members, especially regarding assignments and ownership of specific shipments, which is extremely valuable. Its ability to integrate with other tools such as Microsoft Teams and OneDrive further enhances our operational efficiency.

I really appreciate how Smartsheet keeps all the information clear and neat, making it a great tool for office work. The filter options are especially valuable as they allow me to navigate and organize a spreadsheet full of information easily and clearly, making the process of finding everything I need a much more efficient task. It's simply the best system ever in my experience, with the ability to set up quickly with just a few basic steps. Smartsheet stands out so much that I would rate it higher than a 10 when recommending it to a friend or colleague.

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Smartsheet for its automation features, which allow me to set intuitive rules that help report activities efficiently. This feature is particularly beneficial in my lean setup, as it pings the right stakeholders when certain conditions are met, ensuring smooth operations without an ornate software stack. The ability to track overall activity on a sheet, as well as activities per cell, is extremely valuable for maintaining oversight. Additionally, I really appreciate the ease with which I can prepare Gantt charts for waterfall project schedules. This functionality makes controlling dependencies much more straightforward, especially when compared to alternatives like Microsoft Project or Primavera. Smartsheet integrates seamlessly with tools such as Outlook, Windows, Bluebeam PDF, and Excel, which enhances its utility in my project management tasks. Finally, the availability of templates makes the initial setup moderately easy, allowing for a quick and convenient start.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love the recent modernization of the Smartsheet UX. It feels like it's lost functionality, and having to relearn where everything is has been a disturbance. Although the previous interface was dated, I had become comfortable with it over time.
