Easy and Convenient Software
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is very well organized and offers a range of impressive features!

Nothing. I absolutely love it and works amazing!

I love the feature were you can put the comments and include other people in the conversation.
Easy to Use and Keeps Me Organized
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Smartsheet for about a year now, and overall I’ve had a really positive experience. What I like most is how simple and user-friendly it is compared to some other project management tools. The learning curve wasn’t steep at all — I was able to get set up quickly and start tracking projects without needing a lot of training.
The spreadsheet-style layout feels familiar, but it also comes with more flexibility and features than a standard Excel or Google Sheet. I especially appreciate how easy it is to customize views, share updates with others, and keep everything organized in one place.
Since starting, I’ve been able to streamline tasks, track progress more clearly, and cut down on back-and-forth emails. It really helps me stay on top of projects without feeling overwhelmed.
If I had to give feedback, I’d say that some of the advanced features take a bit more time to explore, but that’s expected with any platform as robust as this one.
Overall, I’d recommend Smartsheet to anyone looking for a straightforward yet powerful tool to manage projects and collaborate effectively.

What do you dislike about the product?
My one complaint would be the mobile experience. The mobile app works, but it’s not quite as smooth as the desktop version. I will say there are so many ways to set things up that it can feel a little overwhelming at first, but you get used to it pretty fast.

I’ve been using Smartsheet for about a year, mainly for project management, and it’s made a big difference in how I track my work. Instead of juggling emails, spreadsheets, and notes, everything is in one place, which saves me time and keeps me organized. I can easily see where each project stands, which helps make sure nothing slips through the cracks. It’s simple to use, the layout feels familiar, and it makes collaboration much easier. Some of the more advanced features take a little extra time to learn, but overall it’s been a really helpful tool for managing projects more confidently and with less stress.

Simple interface, intuitive sharing with colleagues and archiving of completed tasks on our shared task list

Given that it is a new format and exists online, it can be a little difficult to get adoption from all members of the organization

Real Time Changes that can be made and noticed by the Team working on the project.

Other than not knowing how to navigate through the software, I don't have much bad to say.

It gave us any easy way to check on all the printers at our plant.
Solved so many problems
What do you like best about the product?
We also use forms for employees to request travel, PTO, and events. This gives us the ability to create forms that create lists as well as calendars. Everything is printable and downloadable. Editing so far has been very intuitive. We use some feature of spreadsheets everyday. The forms have been easy for our staff to adopt, making it easy for HR and management to approve and keep track of entries. Customer service, when needed has been easy to reach and understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am still learning workflows, and how to trigger surveys after an event, but that's probably on my learning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem solved was our need to create an events calendar populated by many staffers. By creating a form that everyone can submit, we are able to create a list in calendar form as well as list form that is downloadable. We also use forms for PTO requests and travel requests, which are sent directly to supervisors but can be tracked in a spreadsheet. SO nice having everything in one place and very clear.
Easy Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet it easy to share and create basic spreadsheets to track project information
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was OOTB funcationality to connect MS Outlook to Smartsheet. Ideally send a reoccuring calendar meeting.

SHareable links help us communicate with users outside of my organziation. We lock down sharepoint to internal users only, so it's great to be able to colaborate with users outside of my organization
Easy to use and versatile platform
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is incredibly straightforward and intuitive, making it easy to learn and use. So far, we've always been able to accomplish whatever we've needed with the platform. Whether it's conducting employee surveys or creating detailed dashboards, we rely on Smartsheet for a wide range of tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to keep track of all the sheets inside a company. There is no company reference page to visit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to create dashboards that streamline workflow management within our department, ensuring that every user enjoys a consistent experience.
Powerful once you climb the learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
It gives you the flexibility of a spreadsheet with the structure of a light project-management tool. Templates and forms made it easy to standardize how we collect info, and automations (alerts, update requests, reminders) save me a lot of follow-up time. Dashboards are handy for quick status views, and permissions let me share a sheet with different levels of access without making a mess. I use it once a week to track tasks and small projects, and once things are set up, it keeps everyone aligned.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s definitely a steep learning curve. The formula syntax and cross-sheet references feel a bit different from Excel/Google Sheets, so it took me a while to get comfortable. Permissions can be fiddly (especially when multiple people are editing), and large sheets slow down more than I’d like. Some reporting and Gantt print options are limited, and the mobile app is fine for checking status but not great for building anything. Integrations beyond the basics (e.g., premium connectors) may require higher tiers or admin setup, which adds friction during implementation. Overall, it’s powerful—but expect to invest time up front to get real value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s helping me keep projects organized in one place instead of juggling between spreadsheets, emails, and task lists. Having tasks, due dates, and files tied together makes it easier for the team to stay on the same page. The automatic reminders and update requests reduce the amount of chasing I’d normally have to do, which saves time and keeps things moving. For me, the main benefit is transparency, everyone can see progress and responsibilities without needing a separate status meeting.

What do you like best about the product?
Extremely Easy to use. Completely streamlines communications in our workflow process.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I had to name something, it can be a bit glitchy time to time, but even that is rare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a PM, Smartsheet helps me document, create a schedule, and notify the shop of deliveries, fabrication requests, and delivery requests. All aspects of my job are streamlined in one place.
Smartsheet is my favorite daily tool!

I like that smartsheet has an audit trail, email notifications, and attachment sorting / upversioning.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could font/highlight specific words in a cell instead of the entire cell. I would like better filter capabilities

It's allowing communication with clients on a wide range of information. It's allowing us to track chages/updates. It allows project management and timeline tracking.
