An excellent platform for team collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I really love how easy it is to use given existing familiarity with systems like excel, and how simple it was to set up cross-sheet automations to make sure different deparments are still working synchronously without needing to constantly communicate with each other. We use it daily for all our work and it integrates into our workflow very well. Our representative has also been friendly and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took a while to get some of our team who are less familiar with spreadsheets comfortable with Smartsheet, and it's not ideal for some of our use cases, just becuase of the formulaic nature of our work. It's still a huge improvement over our prior tasking and collaboration system, however.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet automates how tasks are handled for us by allowing us to set many complex criteria for task prioritisation for our different clients, as well as making sure that our task handling is updated based on whether our client's bills have been paid, while still being straightforward to use and flexible when new challenges arise which require changes in our workflow. It saves everyone time and also gives us a clear and readable record of work performed for clients.
Helpful for Organization, But Has a Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Smartsheet's notification functionality, which provides friendly reminders to my team and eliminates the need for constant manual reminders. The integration capabilities are impressive, allowing seamless connectivity with other tools. Moreover, the visualization features are flexible, enhancing how I view project data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the initial setup and learning curve of Smartsheet to be quite challenging. Despite its similarities to Excel, there are notable differences that made the transition difficult for me. The structure and methodology are not immediately intuitive, and I often felt inclined to revert to using Excel due to the smoother familiarity it offers. Additionally, while it's not a critical issue for me at the moment, I believe the adaptation process from traditional spreadsheets to Smartsheet could be improved for users coming from a similar background.

I use Smartsheet for organizing and optimizing project tracking, with benefits like helpful reminders and integration capabilities.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how the smart sheets are organized and pretty straight forward to use. I thought using them would be a little more confusing but once I was taught the basics its actually pretty simple. Its nice and organized and at my work we use it for when we process certain types of payments such as statement payments and also processing payments for any invoices we have that don't show up in our system just yet.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know my work has its reasoning for using them. Ive heard from others that we used to not use them. I guess the only downside just with our work would be that its an extra step to fill out the sheet and submit it to our corporate while also managing a lot of calls coming in but we have to finish up the smart sheet in a timely manner. It would be neat if it had a cleaner UI, it works well but a cleaned up UI would be interesting to have. The Ui is not the most appealing and sometimes looks a little outdated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smart sheets is primarily being used at my business for processing and keeping track of payments that aren't finished being invoiced in our payment system so that we can submit them to our corporate office to be processed at a later time. It is also used for people who want to make statement payments since our payment system only lets us select by the specific invoice.

What do you like best about the product?
I just love how simple and streamline the software is , easy to share and track our company information that we need available at our fingertips anytime anywhere, suits our business model perfectly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much at all , could make the layout a bit softer looking . Or a new logo revamp

Easy-to-Use Software that Keeps Projects on Track
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Smartsheet is that it allows for flexibility and is highly customizable. We have been using it to track marketing projects and I have been pleased with how much we are able to do within the one platform vs. using 3-4 different platforms or programs to track our projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
My least favorite thing about Smartsheet is that it does not auto-save very frequently. I have had multiple instances where I have made updates to our sheets and the progress I made is lost because I forgot to hit the save button in the upper left. I have since learned to make it a habit to save, but the frequency of autosaves should absolutely be on par with things like Sharepoint where you don't have to worry about saving at all.

Smartsheet is helping me to keep track of project progress and communicate project status to internal stakeholders.

Ease of use; simple UI; easy to understand navigation; easy to create reports, love it that I can invite guests who do not need a license.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some limitations re: the ability to create reports from a task based list.

What do you like best about the product?
you can create workflows based on your needs and have some many tools that allows you to track information and at the same time notify a team in a personalized way
What do you dislike about the product?
Admin Center needs to improve drastically i should be able to see my users and which groups they are without checking in each group or sheets, i should be able to manage their status and workspaces added in one spot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
connecting our teams , each task being able to track individually and notify only team members that are part of the specific task or team.
Easy tool for project collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's could based so you it can be accessed anywhere you can get on-line with any device.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this point, I haven't found any limitations.

Scheduling, budget, and work flow.
Great tool for building business processes
What do you like best about the product?
I like that smartsheet is very intuitive. It seems easy to adapt to if you come from a background of Excel or other spreadsheet work. It also has a very high ceiling for what it is capable of, which allows a user to start small and still build up to use the more advanced features over time. I use it every day for work and would not want to have to substitute it for something else.

Smartsheet could have a higher line limit and allow for more integrations with common business programs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is organizing records from form entries and allowing me to shere them through dynamic views. This helps serve stakeholders of my projects with a consistent experience.
