Good for benchmarking SaaS tools
What do you like best about the product?
simplifies and automates the software procurement and renewal process, saving time and reducing administrative burden
What do you dislike about the product?
Vendr’s automated procurement process might not be customizable enough for companies with unique or complex requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Software procurement involves lengthy negotiations, contract reviews, and back-and-forth with vendors. Vendr simplifies and automates this process, saving time and effort for our procurement and finance teams.

Saves Time and Money
What do you like best about the product?
The worst part about negociating contracts with SaaS vendors is not knowing their pricing. Having a good idea about what the range of prices that they typically charge customers is a huge advantage. Hat's off to Vendr for giving their customers this information in as much detail as possible. To top it off, Vendr does the negociating for you. It save time and money.
The other advantage of Vendr is their organization of all Vendors in one location. From renewals to licensing details, they put all the information at your fingertips. No more spreadsheets or disorganized WIKI pages. The time savings is well worth the cost.
Their support throughout the sales process is excellent. They really want to understand what contract terms are important to you, not just price. They can use all the levers to get the contract to reflect not just the best price, but also the most favorable terms taylored to your needs.

What do you dislike about the product?
It seems like some SaaS company salepeople are ignorant about Vendor. They don't know how to interact with them because they don't fit the mold of "partners", which are known entities in the sales process. Educating SaaS sales people about Vendr's role is the only small disadvantage. It can slow down the sales cycle a bit.

What do you like best about the product?
Keeping track of vendors and when they renew was becoming hard to manage. Vendr gives us a platform to track and store all this information, The Vendr rep helps us get through the procurement process and requests all due diligence and other documentation for security and legal reviews. They then store the contracts and track when the vendor will renew. They also helped us define what we want from vendors and to refine the internal workflow used to help track the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Vendr overall does a nice job helping us negotiate, tracking documentation, and recommending procurement standards, I still need to track what is going on and clearly state what I want with each contract. This may also include getting involved with the negotiation to help push the vendor pricing down a little more. Vendr helped us develop a procurement process and gave us a tool to manage it but this development was tedious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vendor management was getting hard to track. We lacked the sophistication to fully understand what terms we could request from our vendors including no auto renew. Vendr helped us to establish a protocol of requests we make now for every vendor transaction. Vendr provides a workflow where we can track the negotiation process, store the security and legal documentation, including contracts, and to track renewal dates. Occasionally we used to have a vendor with an auto renew clause that would renew without our knowledge until after the fact. Because of Vendr's recommendations, we no longer accept contracts with auto renew and because Vendr is tracking and reminding us about renewal dates, we never miss the opportunity to renegotiate contracts. In addition we have been able to take advantage of Vendr dollars for some purchases. This allows a rebate of some of the money initially paid for the services.

I enjoy the contract management, supplier connections to contracts, and the ability to customize fields in the platform

What do you dislike about the product?
In my particular case, the vendr negotiating team did not deliver $ savings as I had hoped, but there were many difficulties on my organization's side that contributed to this
The user interface has small gaps or features that can be expanded on, the product team at vendr is constantly working on this via user suggestions

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vendr helps in centralizing essential contract data and the process of buying. This is increasing visibility and uniformity within my organization

What do you like best about the product?
Central place for all our SaaS spendings and ease to track all the renewals. Customizable workflows has been really helpful as well. Ability to easily onboard all our users on this platform was great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still not completely mature product. Navigating multiple workflows is not as fluid as desired. Absence of support for multiple currencies has created an issue here and there. Documents not easy to navigate within a workflow (adding a short description would be useful and-or adding the date it was added/modified), easy to confuse them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Central place to manage all SaaS contracts and subscriptions. Prevents forgetting some renewals. Vendr negotiation services also helpful in keeping costs under control. Ability to compare our costs with the costs seen by similar businesses also very helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
All the staff have been supportive and very responsive to any questions or issue when they arose.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I have, which has been raised is I need to download PDF documents, loaded to view.

Vendr is going to take over the negotiation process from the team to free up some time. Centralized location to record SAAS expiry dates to ensure timely decisions are made

What do you like best about the product?
I have used Vendr 4-5 times now. Vendor formalized a process for vendor selection at our company, we no longer have to guess who we need to go to. Visualizing the workflow and pending approvals have helped.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't yet found them useful in negotiations with vendors or providing proactive support.

Great Negotiating Partner
What do you like best about the product?
The quick communication and their teams knowledge for each contract to help us aquire the most cost savings possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
The portal tends to have issues at times, but their tech team is always on top of getting things resolved as quickly as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They have helped work directly with our vendors which saves me days of back and forth negotiation emails and meetings.

What do you like best about the product?
I am systems manager/admin for many vendor accounts in our company tech stack, so the prospect of having one place to manage and negotiate the many contracts we are constantly handling is helpful. Assigned Vendr negotiation team is courteous and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall I think Vendr has a lot to sort out before I'd recommend them. Our onboarding support was rocky at best, and many UX/UI improvements needed to happen in the intake portal. Also, in the end, Vendr didn't help us negotiate better rates for my particular contracts. Unfortunately, my team had to get involved and resolve the negotiations where they couldn't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ideally when working, Vendr is helping us management all of our operational contracts in one streamlined space and identifying/negotiating cost savings on our behalf.
