Complete Game-Changer for Scaling Organizations of ANY SIZE
What do you like best about the product?
Vendr is my secret weapon in the battle between quickly scaling companies and the software providers who are "so excited for your recent funding". How does Vendr compare to its competitors? There ARE NO competitors. This is a refreshingly new idea with nearly immediate ROI in both literal dollars saved and hours of excruciating negotiation calls/emails/meetings with SaaS companies.
Vendr allows me to focus on what I'm good at and what provides the greatest value to my employer, assessing the fit and potential benefit of SaaS tools against our organizational goals. I can spend my time thinking about how to utilize, implement, and integrate the tool with our existing tech stack and workflows instead of worrying about how I'm going to get the commercial terms in a good place for finance, legal, procurement, IT, etc.
Vendr allows me to focus on what I'm good at and what provides the greatest value to my employer, assessing the fit and potential benefit of SaaS tools against our organizational goals. I can spend my time thinking about how to utilize, implement, and integrate the tool with our existing tech stack and workflows instead of worrying about how I'm going to get the commercial terms in a good place for finance, legal, procurement, IT, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've worked with 10+ buyers at Vendr. I can't think of anything I've disliked about my interactions with them, their ability to negotiate a good deal, leverage their internal data on contracts & strategy, and the professionalism of their interactions with the SaaS providers on my behalf. They function as an extension of my company and I know they will represent our brand and their own brand in the best way every time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At my last organization, I managed the tech stack for the revenue org (200+ sellers worldwide) of 25 SaaS applications. Not all tools were available to all teams, privacy & compliance regulations varied by country, and there were redundancies within the tech stack. Vendr allowed me to stay on top of multiple renewals every month (we didn't miss any 30, 60, 90 day out or auto-renewal clauses in existing contracts), consolidation of tools, optimization of workflows by increasing usage of the top platforms and removing the weakest. Additionally, we were able to reduce our annual spend on SaaS by over $200k.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
My first experience with Vendr was at a large, publicly-traded, international organization spending over $10M annually on SaaS. Now I'm at a smaller startup that is only spending about $500K on SaaS but Vendr is still able to support our team, growth goals, and have it make financial sense for both ourselves & Vendr.
Not sure if Vendr can help your company? Just talk to them. It's a very professional, non-pressure evaluation process. They really care about helping their customers and finding creative ways to partner with companies.
They guarantee your ROI in the contract, so it's crazy NOT to work with them.

Take the hard part of back and forth negotiations out of your equation.
What do you like best about the product?
Vendr has experience dealing with any and all SaaS companies, so they have records of how much room each platform has to negotiate with. Once they find a lower price, they are able to add that data to their system and benefit all future clients looking to utilize that system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only dislike may be for folks who like the hard-cord negotiation tactics and handle the back and forth themselves. For everyone else, Vendr will do that for you, and take the time-consuming task of price and platform negotiation out of your hands.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are saving a lot of valuaable resourced by letting Vendr do all the contract negotiation once we provide all of our requirements to them, and they will guide the process to the end. We never get to see the ugly side of greed, money, truth or dare tactics that people utilize during negotiations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is a tipping point when you scale to a certain size that you find yourself drowning in SaaS platform selection and contract negotiations. When your team can use their time more wisely improving messaging or the product, let Vendr handle the time-consuming part of the contract negotiations. Not only do they make it easy, they can also give you advice on how much room to negotiate and what modules to add/remove.

What do you like best about the product?
Vendr has really helped us streamline our procurement process and the management of our SaaS stack. Very friendly, efficient CSMs and buyers too!

Not a lot not to like - would be great if they covered more than just tech stack

SaaS stack management, getting the best price and keeping ahead on renewals. We have saved so much time outsourcing the buying process so we can focus on our business
Instantly Augment your Procurement Team
What do you like best about the product?
With Vendr, we are able to not only lower our procurement costs but also use their strong relationships with a large suite of suppliers to negotiate better. It is a win-win! The people at Vendr are also a joy to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything that I dislike as each engagement with Vendr is very energizing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vendr has a broad list of suppliers that they already have built a relationship with that we can tap into to help with the procurement negotiation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you haven't done it, you owe it to yourself and your company's bottom line to give it a shot - Other than your investment of a small amount of time, you've nothing to lose. It is truly a win-win!
Vendr saves us time and money!
What do you like best about the product?
Vendr manages our New and Renewal software purchases. They keep us on track, ensure deals are reviewed in a timely manner, and secure us the best contractual terms. They save us time and money!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind. Very easy and pleasant to work with the Vendr team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time and cost savings. Ensuring no renewal gets auto-renew without reviewing the terms.

What do you like best about the product?
Vendr is so responsive and helpful, I don't know what we did without them. We've already seen a great ROI with their assistance on our renewals, and they relieve a lot of stress internally. Everyone on their team is a pleasure to work with, especially our CSM! Highly recommend.

I really can't think of anything. Nothing comes to mind.

We've saved money on contracts and negotiated better payment terms. Key internal stakeholders have more time to focus on more important responsibilities.

What do you like best about the product?
We've been working with Vendr for several months, and it has been a wonderful experience. The Vendr team has been so helpful in making vendor procurement so much easier, primarily since we work with so many. The cost savings that we've seen have been tremendous and have benefitted our organization. One of the best things about working with Vendr is that they collect the legal, privacy, and security documentation, making it very efficient for our internal teams to conduct their due diligence. We're pleased to be working with Vendr.

Nothing to add here - when it's good, it's good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned above, the collection of legal, privacy, and security documentation is so beneficial for us. We also love that with Vendr's experience and knowledge, Vendr can negotiate with vendors in a way that helps us save more rather than if we were to do it on our own. The vendor procurement process is manageable and not as overwhelming when you have Vendr working with you.

What do you like best about the product?
Vendr has gained and continues to gain invaluable insights into pricing and other key terms of various SaaS solutions by negotiating on behalf of their growing customer base. They leverage this intelligence to act on your behalf as your procurement partner.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have zero complaints. They continue to evolve their offering through process improvements, technology and an ever-growing dataset of SaaS contract terms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By taking over procurement for us Vendr allows our SaaS tools owners and my small Accounting/Finance team to focus on higher value add activities to help drive the business.

Could use more options in the Dashboards. Sort by stakeholders and SaaS types.

What do you like best about the product?
Working with the Vendr team was incredibly easy. I was kept in the loop at each stage of the process but I didn't lift a finger. They got us a fantastic deal with our new LMS vendor that I don't think we could have done independently. We feel even more confident in our decision now because Vendr ensured our contract was all-inclusive.

There is nothing negative I could say about my experience with Vendr. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to negotiate a contract with new or existing software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Vendr allows Toast to get the best deal on our new LMS vendor. They are the perfect middle man that can stay unbiased in our decision-making, while ensuring that our needs are met in the contract. One of the benefits of using Vendr is that we can focus on other tasks revolving around LMS prep while they do the negotiating.
