Vendr: A Great Partner!
What do you like best about the product?
Vendr is a terrific partner in helping my company buy what it needs at the best possible rate with a minimum of hassle. I can't recommend them enough!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about Vendr at this point!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have realized savings with our software contracts both in terms of time and energy.

What do you like best about the product?
The team at Vendr is all action with measurable results! Vendr is unwavering in their focus to serve our team and willing to pivot with business needs as they evolve. Our buyers take a monumental lift off our SaaS owners (plus Fin, Sec, and Legal). It's fair to say that we could not operate at the capacity we do without the rockstar team at Vendr.
What do you dislike about the product?
The minimal items I would have listed here have been solved. That's the thing, Vendr listens to your feedback and delivers!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits include but truly aren't limited to: reducing high list prices, inheriting lengthy/time-consuming emails, assessing usage and understanding complex pricing models, ensuring our procurement process is followed, and that deals get executed on time.

What do you like best about the product?
They have deep knowledge of what current market rates are for almost every piece of software we use and use that to help us get the best deal. In addition their customer support has been fantanstic
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly there is not much to dislike. Once they do a first pass through your existing contracts the value shifts to mostly new software and renewals but the highest impact is probably in the first year.

I do not need to build out a procurement department and I am confident I am getting a terrific rate and saving money where I can

What do you like best about the product?
Working with Vendr is like working with your in-house team. The time Vendr takes to understand your business and resource appropriately is unmatched. Their approach brings a high level of trust and enables them to be an extension of your team. As a manager in Procurement, the ability to lean on Vendr to work through renewals provides my team the time they need to focus on strategic procurement. While engaging with Vendr Pulse for net new deals arms them with the info they need to negotiate solid deals.

That they don't work just for us - what a power team

Vendr gives us time back to focus on more strategic initiatives. They obtain and maintain substantial savings for us each year, resulting in impressive ROI. The ability to knowledge share promotes ongoing education and enables open discussion
No-Brainer Purchase - Save Time & Money!
What do you like best about the product?
The obvious one - Vendr has saved us significant $$ through the years.
The less obvious, but perhaps more important - this has saved our team a ton of time when buying SaaS products, allowing Vendr to drive the deal forward for us rather than distracting teams like Engineering with these discussions.
Other: Vendr has also made our internal processes easier, allowing us to purchase faster and help our team members navigate internal process better.

None that I can think of at this time - our team has genuinely enjoyed working with Vendr.

Saving Time and Money!
So easy to prove the ROI!
What do you like best about the product?
Vendr built immediate trust with my team and took over all Saas negotiations. They gave us back the time - among other job responsibilities - to focus on designing our procurement function and executing that design. And it wasn't just my team that was relieved for the support. I regularly receive feedback from DRIs across the business that rave about how great Vendr is to work with and how much they appreciate the transactional support.
What do you dislike about the product?
To make Vendr successful, the leaders at the company will need to empower them. Vendr is a service FOR your employees. At first employees might think it's adding process. To make Vendr successful, endorse them throughout your company to help with change management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
TIME savings, cost savings, helped operationalize our vendor workflow. They are an indispensable part of our procurement function.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Onboard them immediately. You will kick yourself for not doing so sooner.

Their "success for all" mentality means I get a fair price without damaging our relationship with our vendors.

I have no complaints, this has been a great relationship.

Their focus on SaaS has saved us a significant amount, and their insights into the market are excellent. They take a lot of the workload off my team for both new purchases and renewals.
Great partner and savings, tool needs more development
What do you like best about the product?
The process and engagement with buyers are very smooth. Vendr removes a great deal of stress in the buying process for SaaS solutions and has the benchmarks to ensure we are getting fair pricing. We have seen some good savings thus far, and we engaged with them in February of this year.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vendr lacks effective reporting and functionalities that make it easy to navigate around the solution. The inability of the end-user to make comments or add notes for the buyers to see and having to correspond solely via email can be a challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Initially, we had some process alignment issues, and we worked through those with our CSM to ensure that moving forward, we are partnering most effectively. I realized that having a dedicated CSM to meet with regularly has been a massive key to success with navigating this new partnership.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend that any organization have a clearly defined procurement process that will easily allow Vendr to integrate without making a myriad of adjustments. Companies lacking a mature process may endure initial hiccups, but Vendr is dedicated to working through them to achieve the desired outcome.

What do you like best about the product?
Vendr has saved our company countless hours with negotiations and has saved money on top! They have taken a lot of the leg work out of our negotiating contracts; they are the ones putting in a lot of the time and effort to reach out to these suppliers and find deals that work on both sides. They are sure to list out what we need to have accomplished with this before reaching out to the suppliers.
What do you dislike about the product?
One minor dislike is that their savings are calculated based on the first offer received from the supplier rather than based on prior contract value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Vendr to leverage negotiations as well as helping keep our Saas stack organized and completed.
