Helped our team get organized
What do you like best about the product?
Having Vendr to hold our team accountable to negotiation deadlines has ensured we secure the best pricing
What do you dislike about the product?
Their software stack organization tool could be improved. For example, you can't download the stack to excel, which we've needed to do a few times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Securing better pricing for software contracts and holding our teams accountable to a better procurement process.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the sync information is innacurate

Spending visibility
We are still working on realizing the full potential of the tool and deploying it to to the company

Deceptively powerful.
What do you like best about the product?
Blissfully wants to be your answer to all of your resource management questions, and they work really hard at it. I like knowing that my resource partners are working hard to give me even more help. In terms of features though, the on-boarding workflows make my life immeasurably easier. Having a service watching the process for next steps is really reassuring, but it also give the entire team across departments visibility into 1st day readiness.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downsides are those of any tool, if you focus too hard on the tool the benfits of the tool disappear. If you dive too deeply into the depths of Blissfully you can lose a lot of time over thinking how you want to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On and off boarding, subscription tracking, hardware tracking. We have so much better an idea of what our SaaS spend is it's giving us the ability to make confident decisions about team tooling.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get them as much of your information as you can up front to make the rest of adminitration light.
Make sense of the SaaS chaos!
What do you like best about the product?
1. The ease with which we can now see our the SaaS our company is using
2. The management of the on-boarding and off-boarding workflows
3. Device tracking
4. The Blissfully team is impressive and responsive

What do you dislike about the product?
More flexibility in creating reports would be helpful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blissfully provided much-needed relief in capturing and understanding all the SaaS our company uses, as well as tracking renewals. Our compliance team appreciates the data supplied on each app. We recently moved our device tracking into Blissfully, which is much better than spreadsheets, given the history and audit trail. We continue to find ways the platform can benefit us. I look forward to future enhancements of the product.
The backbone of our company for onboarding/off-boarding, approvals and SaaS spend
What do you like best about the product?
We initially got hooked on getting transparency into our SaaS spend without having to track it manually. This is a great feature and we still refer to it for budgeting needs.
The feature that we rely on the most is onboarding/offboarding processes. It allow us to create standard checklists per department for various people in the company to folow when a new employee starts or leaves. This allows to provision software, conduct presentations, sign documents, etc. Blissfully handles tasks management and reminders. This is a game changer, especially for any company that needs this process to be air-tight for SOC 2 or similar audit.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more bulk operations and a snappier UI when doing many tasks. To their credit, Blissfully has improved a lot in this area in the past year already.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a person responsible for security and compliance, I've spent a lot of time in the past chasing people down and asking them to complete various tasks (and I had to record this completion into a massive spreadsheet). Now, Blissfully handles all the follow-ups and nagging for us (in addition to the record-keeping).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's an excellent product. It's seamless to use and Blissfully adds new features and functionality every quarter. If approvals, compliance, and onboarding are problems for your organization, you won't be disappointed using Blissfully.
Detailed, expansive and helps with uncovering systems being used within the company
What do you like best about the product?
Its deep reach into uncovering the systems that we have used across all employees. The available details from just integrating your finance teams management platform is excellent but Blissfully goes further and also enables you to pull in invoices (via the gmail integration) that may not be present with your finance team, thus ensuring an extra layer of data points to conclude the companies expenditure.
Managing onboarding and offboarding through predefined task lists remove the need for wordy and long confluence documents and remove the chance of human error.
I also appreciate how their senior staff members are on Slack and have been more than happy to help us with several niche questions around how we use onboarding at our company.
Escalations of workflows from tickets is a great function that enables clear lines on responsibility, mitigating the need chase people, allowing you to get on with work as and when it comes in.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is currently no support for £ (the native $ is used for all transactions regardless of currency the subscription has been paid in) and thus also converts it, so your numbers for total spend will not necessarily match up to your actual spend. Conversions are also done on a per transaction/invoice level so is respective for the exchange rate for the day listed in the invoice, so you cant "undo" the conversion in one fell swoop.
I find some of the UI a little jarring when attempting to navigate between departments and their tasks when inside the Onboardong/offboarding workflows. Each click loads a new page, and when you're trying to quickly navigate and view similar task lists (which dont take up much browser space) for comparision, it slows down the progress you're trying to make.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we needed to solve was defining a process for joiners and leavers that anyone can follow and not misinterpret.
Bymaking sure we're tracking departmentally required systems to add and remove users from, which wasn't visible (other than a spreadsheet) when you have 40+ SaaS tools, and multiple dept crossovers for these apps made this manageable.
Now we're able to accurately and compliantly add and remove users to the correct tools and view the spend for each department.

Blissfully helped us organize our workflows.
What do you like best about the product?
It is web based, which means we can access it from anywhere. And obviously that it is integrated into what is important, such as apps, credit cards, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes a bit slow. Some parts of the interface are confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem we faced that Blissfully solved was aggregating all the offboarding tasks into one place (and then assigning it to people). This is huge! We can now offboard people confidentially, despite operating in a multi-cloud, multi-SaaS world.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you understand how Blissfully gets information so that you can leverage it to really see your spend.
SaaS visibility in minutes.
What do you like best about the product?
I am a current Blissfully user. The ease of deployment. I was able to get up and running very quickly. The native integrations are well suited to the id providers and ERP providers we currently use with more on the roadmap before the end of 2020. I like that the engineering team was available to help me during set up and were open to feedback about the product. When I joined my current organization, software spend was a free for all on a heavily abused set of credit cards. Blissfully was able to quickly identify the presence of apps in the organization including historical spend and application owners. There are many types of information that are automatically populated and more customizable features "under the hood".
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything. The reporting functionality could use a bit of maturing and granularity, but Blissfully support let me know that is already underway.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed answers to the following questions which Blissfully is now providing:
Which apps are in the organization?
Who uses the apps?
How are they logging in?
What is the cost for SaaS apps?
What are the historical costs for SaaS?
are the apps in the organization in compliance with various compliance standards?

Discover dead weight, lighten the onboarding load.
What do you like best about the product?
Blissfully's powerful usage discovery tools make finding spend for deprecated apps a breeze, as well as tracking down users and their app usage.
The onboarding workflows are a nice extra in the Blissfully toolkit. This has helped foster a positive relationship between Finance and IT while bring value back to the company and help save money.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there is a sync delay between G Suite and Blissfully when it comes to creating users, discovering new g suite users and app users.
It'd be nice if Blissfully was able to warn if you're close to your license limit or if the email address for an onboarding workflow is already taken.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped us get better at onboarding, especially during this pandemic. We are hiring remotely and abroad, and it's been a huge help in getting everyone up to speed.
Useful tool, helped us achieve SOC2 compliance
What do you like best about the product?
Blissfully makes onboarding and offboarding workflows fairly seamless and very easy. It also makes it simple to see, at a glance, what apps are being used by our company, who is using them, and when they last used it. It has helped us reduce our overall spend because of this visiblity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since we are using it to help our SOC2 compliance posture, it would be useful if we could easily add non-SaaS vendors with whom we work, to have vendor profiles setup in one centralized location. Right now, we've had to "hack" a way to do this, so we could list our non-SaaS vendors in Blissfully, but it's not an elegant solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now no longer miss any tasks related to onboarding or offboarding employees. We have a timestamp and checkbox that indicates when required functions have been performed, which is very helpful. It has made this process highly streamlined, and audit-friendly.
