Blissfully is easy to use for vender tracking and employee on-boarding
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use for creating, managing and using workflows is one of the things I like a lot about Blissfully. I manager vender on-boarding though Blissfully and the workflows help a lot when making sure we stay in compliance. Their support is great, if I ever have a question or problem I can easily reach out to them and they are fast to respond and take care of me as a user.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a couple of UI bugs I've come across that have made it awkward or difficult to use and I haven't seen movement on those reports yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vendor management and making sure we stay in compliance with SOC2. We also use Blissfully for employee on and off boarding workflows again to make sure we create the best environment to ensure our employees succeed and to ensure that we stay in compliance with SOC2

Blissfully hooks into my systems to show me info I was only guessing about before.
What do you like best about the product?
Automatic importing and expense classification so I don't have to go through every single expense and classify myself. Ability to import from multiple sources, both tech and financial.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to map resellers or VARs to products. Report views aren't the most customizable...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility into SaaS expenses to demonstrate to management need for budget.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Put the time in up front to link as many financial/IT system as you can. Lean heavily on support personnel to tweak your intergrations so you see what you want. Be careful if you link multiple systems that you don't end up with an item counting twice.
Great platform, fantastic customer service
What do you like best about the product?
Blissfully has really streamlined and simplified our onboarding process, and has made it very easy to keep track of spend and licensing across teams. The team at Blissfully is extremely helpful and responsive - thrilled with the level of service we have been receiving!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a couple of "would be nice" suggestions, nothing major, but the primary thing I would like to see in Blissfully is a higher level of automation for provisioning platforms, and also the ability to see whether or not users have 2FA enabled (for security audit purposes).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blissfully makes it really easy to ensure that team members have access to every platform they need when starting with the company, and also to make sure that all permissions are removed when someone leaves the company. Blissfully also solves the issue of not knowing who the billing owner of a platform is, or where the invoices are going.
A Tool That Actually Gives You Actionable Data
What do you like best about the product?
Blissfully is one of those tools that drives value to every part of the organization. Whether you are in IT, DevOps, Finance, Security or HR, Blissfully provides a magnifying glass into application spend and usage in this time of SaaS sprawl that plagues many organizations. The time to value is virtually immediate and the more major systems you integrate it with (e.g. Okta, QuickBooks, G Suite, Sales Forces) the better quality of actionable data you get that can actually drive not only decision but cost savings. It also great for vendor management and has a strong roadmap for the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any tool that deals with applications I would like to see more native app integrations out of the box. While you can integrate Blissfully with custom apps with a little bit of work, no tool ever has all the apps you need right out of the gate. Blissfully is no different, but they are far better than any other tool in this space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Key problems we solved with Blissfully has been SaaS application sprawl and work flow management of onboarding, off boarding and vendor management. The SOC-2 feature is also something of interest. Immediate benefits of Blissfully have been insight into what applications my clients are actually using and the financial spend associate with them. Additionally, the workflow functionality has freed up IT and Finance clients to do more strategic work and automate many manual processes.
Invaluable in a multitude of ways
What do you like best about the product?
Out of the many things I appreciate about Blissfully, my favorite piece would have to be how it has helped me automate onboarding/offboarding using its integrations into our different applications. Blissfully integrates with our HR system so it is just a series of clicks to get a new hire a gsuite account, group memberships and access to many different applications through Okta. The webhook feature is used to send out welcome emails on a schedule to the new users as well. It has taken away a ton of repetitive tasks for our IT department as well as our HR department.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to say, most things I have felt needed improvement on I have submitted to Blissfully and they have implemented in a feature release shortly after. If anything, there could be a better way of handling bulk changes, but I have no doubt that too will be addressed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Offboarding was definitely a problem before Blissfully. As out corporate IT is essentially a collection of SaaS applications, it was a nightmare to check each piece of software that someone may have had access to. Leaving access to an application for a terminated employee was a big risk and even if everything was accounted for the time it took was still a risk. Blissfully shows my the list of everything the user has been logging into and allows for automatic disabling on my of those apps.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend at least giving it a trial. It is reasonably priced and pays for itself.
Blissfully has been the answer to all of our SaaS management problems
What do you like best about the product?
SaaS sprawl is SOLVED with Blissfully. Our business is 99% cloud leveraged, utilizing over 300 SaaS apps. We now know who is using them, why, cost, terms, etc. all in one app.
What do you dislike about the product?
Blissfully solves so many problems in one package. Two things I would love to see from blissfully, however (I believe at least one is on their road map).
1. I would love to see heavy automation like BetterCloud. The issue with BetterCloud is that it was cost prohibitive for us, but otherwise, BC crushes the automation game. Blissfully does have automation, but it's a bit more surface - automatic G Suite account creation, distro list membership joins, etc.
2. This is the one I believe is on their roadmap - overlapping SaaS spend for similar apps. We would love to see this combined with competitive data on similar apps, all in one pane of glass. Currently, it only lets you know if there are multiple instances of the same SaaS app.

Not only do we have an understanding around all SaaS apps utilized within the business, but we now have the ability to manage and track all employee and app onboarding/offboarding. The audit trail feature for both workflows is extremely useful and helpful in our compliance information gathering exercises.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Blissfully is fantastic for overall SaaS management and light automation. Look at BetterCloud if you are searching for 100% automation, though I think Blissfully will get there eventually.
Onboarding/Offboarding Simplified
What do you like best about the product?
After creating the onboarding workflows, I no longer need to be chasing or reminding managers to provide me the necessary information.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's very little to dislike, but I do wish some features would be added to improve the onboarding personalization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Aside from organizing and automatically assigning the onboarding tasks, we have found and eliminated duplicate apps that were not necessary, saving thousands of dollars per year.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a way to keep track of all the tasks revolving around onboarding/offboarding, I definitely feel you should give Blissfully a try.
Blissfully, can't live without it!
What do you like best about the product?
Blissfully has helped me create a full company app catalog, define processes for vendor procurement, and streamlined our on/off boarding of employees. All of this helps us with our security posture, employee experience, and by implementing all of these steps it saves ~100 different employees across different functions including IT, HR, Security, and app owners/provisioners hours of time and to remember to do things.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I dislike. The Blissfully team is always pushing to create features and are very open and responsive to any suggestions I might have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vendor management: 1) before Blissfully we had no idea how many or which apps we had in our environment. 2) Creating a procurement process to make sure new apps are being compared and vetted, a renewal process to make sure we know why we have the apps. By having these processes we are able to properly vet and approve apps and possibly reduce contracts or deprecating apps. For 2020 we are expecting a 0-5% increase over 2019 vs exponential spending that was out of hand. 3) We are defining processes for app requests which would then help us track usage and need for the app. 4) Ghost spend: With our integrations with our financial institutions and Google we are able identify when users purchase SaaS outside of our processes and find possible correlations that might lead to investigating purchasing a team license on that platform.
On/Offboarding of users: By having a defined onboarding for all teams the new users can get ramped up faster and therefore start contributing sooner, this includes apps, manual tasks, webhooks, and adding to Google Groups. Offboarding helps make sure that our users are properly offboarded off the apps they were on which saves us money by keeping our head-counts accurate and helps our security posture to make sure users don't have access when they leave.
Audit controls: With the builtin features and the custom fields we have added, we are now able to identify different security levels for apps and being able to report on what a user had access to would make a security audit for SOC, CCPA, GDPR go much faster.
