What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, all of the functionality, the campaigns we can run, and the reviews of course!
What do you dislike about the product?
We have to pay for a branded landing page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is one of our top performing channels where we close at a 50% Lead to Win rate. We love our customers and strive to make them happy so are very proud when we get good reviews from them.

What do you like best about the product?
G2 helps us become aware of our strengths and our shortfalls so we know how our customers see us. This knowledge is priceless!

Not having enough time to use all the premium profile features!
Outstanding personalized onboarding service
What do you like best about the product?
The folks at G2Crowd are very engaging and involved through every step of the onboarding process. The development of our product profile was carefully guided throughout the entire onboarding process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Regarding the onboarding process specifically, I don't really have any dislikes. The attention to detail and involvement from the G2 team is a rarity among larger organizations today.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Again, having only recently completed the onboarding process, the benefits up to now are few, however I have big expectations for the G2 process in terms of lead generation and increased sales. The onboarding process did however, force me to look with a more critical eye at our existing documentation and brand availability.
Attentive and quick to gain results!
What do you like best about the product?
When working with G2 Crowd, I really enjoyed the customer service I received in addition to the results. Anytime I had a question, I got an answer very quickly, that was friendly and offered further assistance. The team worked hard to ensure that we knew what their deals were, what our goals should be, and made sure we were all doing everything we could to reach our expectations.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the beginning, they wanted to move a little faster than we did. We're new to the review game and wanted time to assess, inform our team, and gather advice from others in our company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
General presence on the Internet. We lacked being on review sites and "getting our name out there," so we decided to start gathering reviews. Also, we're continuing to grow and wanted to hear what our clients thought of us to aid in what direction we take.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Compared to other software review programs, I highly recommend using G2 Crowd. The ease of business and results are much higher here than other review sites.
Customer Advocacy is the New Demand Generation
What do you like best about the product?
G2 Crowd represent the unbiased, firsthand experience of software technology buyers and covers the entire IT and customer life cycle (product evaluation, implementation, ease of use, service, and customer support). It has become an integral part of our customer advocacy and client decision making process, and we have been able to successfully improve our brand positioning through end user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of data connector within the premium package has limited us to evaluate customer journey between Salesforce and G2 Crowd. As a result, we have not been able to evaluate ROI goals from the platform. I would recommend the development to consider introducing support for data connectors like - Salesforce, Google Analytics, AdRoll. Also, there should be a customization support for the profile tailored to client needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are leveraging reviews as customer references for prospects to influence their buying decision. Also, the platforms helps understand how clients are using our products, where we excel, and how we can identify unmet needs.
G2 Is a Necessity for Business
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about G2 are the people who work their. The customer support and success management teams are of the highest caliber and add truly strong and worthwhile value. They are very responsive to questions or concerns and work tirelessly to meet business goals with their partners. As for the platform, some of the analytics are out of this world. We are able to see companies who are looking at our listing and track them through our funnel. It is a great addition to your SDR strategy and we rely heavily on it.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the content is beautiful and elicits interactions and views, It is very expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use G2 to further our reputation and establish us as an industry leader. We also use it to follow prospects through our funnel. We introduce reviews in some of our SDR outbound emails and like to show the comparison grid as well. G2 has also helped us identify other verts. we might have an interest in.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take your time with this. Sit down with your sales rep and really dig into how powerful this platform is and what is required of you to succeed. YOU are an important part of this being successful. You will see, quickly, the value G2 really brings. Ask them about strategy, they have an awesome product and an awesome team to help you hit your goals. G2 can be used in so many ways but your first step is discovering how you will make G2 work for your company. If you are reviewing a G2 partnership, you have already taken a great step forward.
Good Platform for the Right Audience
What do you like best about the product?
Control over my profile and the ability to put custom marketing and branded content on our page

Getting charged for free trial clicks regardless of quality of leads

We are trying to raise brand awareness for our self service and enterprise products and gain confidence in purchase decisions
Awesome customer service
What do you like best about the product?
I worked with Kelly throughout the on boarding process, and she was amazing. She cared as much about the campaign's success as we did, and made it super easy to get up and running on G2Crowd.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love if G2Crowd provided more specific insights about the people researching software (beyond company name and state).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to get our software in front of people while they're researching options. We just started our campaign, but we're already seeing consistent daily traffic from G2Crowd, and we're already ranking on the second row in our category.
Great way to generate reviews
What do you like best about the product?
The review campaign generated more reviews that we'd ever had before, and we more than met our goals within the first few weeks. Plus we generated valued customer feedback to action.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the lead capture analytics lacked the detail we would like, for example, which category listing generated the most view for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increasing our profile via product reviews. G2 was very helpful with this.

What do you like best about the product?
Great analytics on the backend was unexpected. Also, they have really exceptional account reps and sales reps. I wasn't expecting the level of expertise and care I experienced. They also have some really amazing reports to help buyers compare rival software systems and the fact that every review is checked against the users LinkedIn account + a screenshot of them brings the review to a higher level of credibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is a little too cluttered. There seem to be some issues visual hierarchy. This makes it difficult for one to quickly understand the great reports they have to offer which is a shame. Also, this is minor, but the "chat here" option appears to often. It is common to have a chat icon in the bottom right of the screen but it's also repeated in several other areas of the site which makes the site feel to cluttered and too "salesy". I honestly believe more people would visit g2 if the user interface felt less cluttered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us get the word out about our company by putting reviews in the public space. We can also see traffic trends, for example, we can see which competing software system is most often compared with our own.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get at least 10 reviews on G2 before you purchase because your company won't come up in any of the reports until you get at least 10. Also, if you get 25 reviews then you come up in more reports so if you're on the fence just get 10-25 reviews before you decide.
