I appreciate G2 Marketing Solutions for generating more leads and enhancing brand awareness through recognition and validation via badges. The insights from customer reviews have significantly impacted our strategy, allowing us to refine our product market fit and tailor our messaging to target the most valuable leads. The profile feature serves effectively as a business card, helping us collect reviews, generate organic search traffic, and target potential customers within our competitors' space. Integrating seamlessly with HubSpot has been beneficial too. Continued participation with G2 in the B2B software space is a clear choice for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the admin panel to be suboptimal in terms of user experience. Managing review campaigns is quite cumbersome, with many features hidden in submenus and subpages, making navigation difficult. The analytics related to reviews and review collection aren't up to par either. I wish for more straightforward ways to create new landing pages or campaigns to better manage different sources of reviews, such as emails, in-app prompts, or ad-hoc campaigns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use G2 Marketing Solutions to increase brand awareness and gather customer insights. It helps us collect reviews, generate leads through organic search, and gain product market fit understanding, enabling us to target valuable leads effectively.

I wish that G2 would allow the customer, when they rate our product, to automatically be counted in multiple categories of our product instead of making the customer select them.

I appreciate the support from the account and implementation managers who are incredibly responsive and helpful, making setup and ongoing use straightforward. I love the ease of integrating buyer intent notifications with Slack and the ability to effortlessly manage campaigns and client outreach, allowing for efficient gathering of customer reviews. The platform's buyer intent feature has been instrumental in identifying who is researching our site and who our competitors are, aiding our sales strategy significantly. I find the ZoomInfo integration especially valuable for streamlining our team’s outreach process. Overall, it's the ease of use and exceptional support that stand out for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that sometimes the buyer intent data isn't the most accurate in terms of company locations and employee size. This inaccuracy often disrupts our SDRs' workflow, as they might focus on incorrect or less important accounts due to this faulty data. Specifically, it makes it hard for SDRs to rely on the tool when the data suggests a company might have fewer employees than it actually does, leading to missed opportunities. We currently cross-check this data with ZoomInfo to verify, but this requires manual intervention, which is time-consuming.

It's beneficial how G2 facilitates handling tasks like the allocation of Amazon gift cards, relieving some workload. The way the platform fosters a community where companies learn from each other and customers is fantastic. I find it valuable for strategic decision-making and staying competitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The manual incentivization of updated reviews is a bit of a hassle, as I have to reach out to get incentivized reviews updated. It appears this process might change, but the last time I checked, it was still an issue. Additionally, while I understand the shift towards automation and the use of chatbots, I still value in human interaction. I believe it is crucial to maintain the human aspect, like having access to a customer success manager or account manager, rather than solely relying on support centers. The human interaction ensures that our issues feel as important as they are and helps strengthen existing relationships.

Additionally, I am impressed with the new AI capabilities that trial voice reviews and automatically generate reviews from customer meetings, which are then sent to customers for approval.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that the support was a little bit more timely and responsive or at least understanding what typical turnaround times should be expected.

I think the price point, I know that with the total package when it comes to, I think another I a huge part of the packaging is having g two do the do the review outreach. I think for a smaller fish company like mine where we're really, like, trying to gather our bearings and, like, just get some get get on the g two grid and, like, get to that 10 review mark. I do think that for companies like ours that are a little bit smaller, maybe, like, knocking down the price point If we're not going to use g two to collect reviews, that would be my only suggestion.

I find the conversation taking longer than expected and not being able to attend more pressing engagement, which can be a bit inconvenient when time is limited.
