What do you like best about the product?
The user-friendly interface, broad mapping capabilities, analytical tools, collaborative features, and smooth integration with other Esri products of ArcGIS Online are highly appreciated. Because of its accessibility, users of all skill levels, including those new to geographic information systems (GIS), find it useful. The platform supports data visualization, analysis, and sharing, facilitating informed decision-making and creativity with its extensive mapping options, analytical tools, and collaborative capabilities. Because of its compatibility with other Esri products, which increases its capability and improves workflow efficiency, professionals and companies who work with spatial data choose it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing structure of ArcGIS Online, its dependence on internet connectivity, its lack of flexibility as compared to desktop GIS software, data privacy and security concerns, the learning curve for novice users, and sporadic performance issues are some prominent objections. In spite of these reservations, ArcGIS Online provides a comprehensive suite of tools for managing and analyzing geographic data, along with a wealth of training materials and documentation to help users get the most out of the program. When deciding if ArcGIS Online is the best option for their GIS needs, users should carefully analyze their unique requirements and demands.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With ArcGIS Online, I can create catchment maps for shopping centers, office centers and other commercial real estate properties and use them within our marketing materials and client reports. ArcGIS easily enables myself to create maps in an interactive way, which I can easily export along with the data that comes with it.
